I really miss the downtowns of the 60's and 70's. I am glad you are showing us all the special downtowns especially in the states we live in. I live in North Carolina close to Charlotte. I used to love to go shopping on Saturdays with my mother. She could not drive yet. She did not learn to drive until I got into junior high school, back then alot of women did not drive. We used to ride the bus and go shopping. It is kinda funny the downtown had been taken over by malls and now the dowtown is coming back. It is kinda strange how history does repeat itself. I enjoy your videos your videos so much and they are so different.

We live just about 20 miles east of Morganton. Our church is about 5 minutes from there. Glad y'all enjoyed your visit.

I would love to do what yall do, do yall travel every weekend? When do yall leave for the trip and when do yall come back? Do yall go to church every Sunday? I work all week so I would have to leave on Friday but need to be back on Saturday night to be in church on Sunday.
Our trips are different time frames. We've lived in the church all of our lives and continue to support the local church.
I follow Keep Your Daydream on UA-cam, they travel full time and go to a different church every Sunday.. The wife gets to wear the same clothes every Sunday..) Loved your videos... This was such a cute town..

Yes love Morganton very nice place all times when I was in high school walk around downtown and eat supper. ❤❤❤
