Um...not a problem imagining that! We didn't get a b/w TV 'til I was 9! No electronic banking, a handful of tiny, crappy satellites, no such thing as GPS. We had paper maps. 😅 AND NO TRACKING PEOPLE!

Cities should build thouse kind places to poor. They look better than too many bigger houses.
There has to be a massive story behind those houses that diverted major highway construction in China.
I would think that someone's grandfather & grandmother have a son or grandson who is very senior in the communist party and someone was told to divert whatever is needed to ensure their home was kept at any cost.

in 3rd grade our teacher had us design a house.. I described my house all made of glass she called it dumb and no privacy. She was saying you cant have a house like that. Afterall i'm not only one with that idea, i could have been rich. Now that i'm older i wouldnt live somewhere there is no privacy or running water

I would imagine that the 1968 rotating home can only rotate just so far before needing to rotate back the other direction. Otherwise try to picture water, Gas, Sewer, and electrical hook-ups staying connected if can spin multiple laps?

Correction, the silo was NOT old and never had grain in it. This is a new way to build. There are many of these build with new corrugated metal.

The house in the water is actually from a small community in California called Sausalito just before the golden gate bridge leading into San Francisco this is a common structure in this neighbor hood since the 40s the area has grow a lot. there are still plenty of these homes there it's become more touristy now, At one time it was really Bohemian kind of small town. Really still cool to walk around (just so expensive)

We have been buying bottled water for a long time.. it's getting harder to carry the water from the car to the house. Getting old is not for the weak.. I would love to have this for my ma and me.. with this I would feel safer drinking water from a purifier. We all need water to survive..

That tube home in Hong Kong was pretty cool but it seems like she’s putting those drapes up in a pretty Janky way. what she should do is use magnets and so magnets into the fabric and then put an array of magnets around the edge of the window. I could be wrong, but it looked like she was using duck tape to hang it up.

My Great Great uncle lived in an old train cart. I remember going into it with my aunt and 2 cousins when I was about 6 or 7 years old (maybe younger?) It was obviously run down by this stage as he was LONG TIME gone (he was my Granda's uncle like?! Lol) it was so cramped but I suppose it would've been perfect for a man on his own. Don't think he had a family of his own? Well I don't remember being told?? It's still there today but I doubt you could step in it today, well I wouldn't want to try, it's got moss everywhere so I guarantee the floors VERY fragile.
