How has the warn power interupter held up?
Nicely done🤟
Thanks ✌
Thanks for posting. It looks a lot like an old starter switch
Yes it is pretty much a high amperage rated relay switch with was also used a starter solenoid. Make sure to hit that like and Subscribe button to stay up to date with all of our latest videos.

How has it all held up? I was thinking of installing one but worried it'll get fried too easily
Where do you place the winch ground wire. The winch has a pos and ground.
The ground wire should still be connected to the Negative Battery terminal. Thanks for the comment and make sure you like and subscribe if you have not already.
What gauge wire did you run from MLC-6 to solenoid?
14 or 16 would work. it is only a signal wire. This wire does not carry much current or voltage.
Hey Jeep Life, I purchased one of these solenoids. Plan to install. Where did you get the terminal boots for the smaller terminals on the solenoid? I purchased a set of 4 from Warn, but they are the larger boots that fit the wire from winch and the side that goes to the battery. I cannot find a boot for the smaller wire. Where did you source yours? Thanks,
I would suggest local parts store or amazon.
@@JeepLifePodcast Hmm, no joy. Have looked all over Amazon and local electrical stores. Anyway, thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. I may just have to go without. Do you recall where you purchased yours?
@@justsomeguy4941I searched Electrical Terminal Rubber Boot in Amazon and came up with this.
www.amazon.com/ZOOKOTO-10Pcs-Terminal-Covers-Insulating/dp/B07VXSD6PK/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2IGA841B9V2KJ&keywords=electrical+terminal+rubber+boot&qid=1661253695&sprefix=electrical+terminal+rubber+boot%2Caps%2C110&sr=8-3
Did warn list the amperage rating for that solenoid ?
No, but they are usually around 250 amps with is plenty for this style of winch.
can you also run an in/out momentary switch to the aux switches?
yes that is also a great suggestion.
@@JeepLifePodcast just finished it up :) works great!!
Why do you switch the hot wire and not the ground.
Because if you switch the ground at the battery and it grounds out somewhere else it can start the winch on you.
