How has this relay held up? Does the high draw of the winch hurt it? I saw the relay Warn uses on their switch kit and I was wondering what the difference is. Thanks.
Say you get in an accident and winch power gets pinched up real bad and shorts out, you have a high fire potential, but with the relay no power is upfront unless you want it to be

Has been ok, but I heard the switch kit relay is better for this? Going to buy one just to try it out.

How is your WARN relay holding up? I did the same as you on my jl, and day two the relay crapped the bed.
Mine lasted a year. Just bought a different Warn one to try. Supposed to be better for this!? We shall see.

What happens to the negative wire that comes out of the winch?
Goes to chassis ground or battery negative.
What amp should your aux switch be?
