PLEASE KEEP IN MIND when you are watching my videos: I am showing you the least expensive, quickest "backyard" methods for repairing or servicing your lawnmower. Replacing all components such as gaskets and fuel lines is always recommended when rebuilding or repairing equipment. With these videos I hope you are able to fix and repair your lawnmower yourself with minimal parts, knowledge and tools. Thank you for watching!
I was just about to say!......Then the old guy pulls out his box of tricks, and now I feel dumb. I bow before. Have a great day sir
Watching your videos is so soothing it’s like being a kid again and helping my dad, a motor mechanic, fix cars mowers etc. I feel like I should be grabbing spanners and screw drivers for him. Thanks
I did have 3 of these 19.5 twin briggs engines the first one was given to me because the guy ran his mower without checking the oil level and it ran dry so it was locked up good an broke so then I gave it to someone else to play with they fixed its problems and sold it
Say Jeff that spider was a dudette. It had a huge egg sack to help with all that red silicon in the inlet runners. Moh gaskitt. Seal up that intake all the way and that engine will last forever. Ya'll have to fix it till it doesn't work I think.
I'm glad you showed how to get out of a pickle when a repair goes south in the case of the main jet. This way we can all learn.
I bought a 20hp opposed Briggs with an oil pump (not a slinger) on ebay. It was a brand new NOS engine still in the crate. Awesome motor.
Boy those briggs oppose twin run nice and sound good, great job Jeff you got a really nice engine.
Great rebuild and smart bench testing rig. Great video as always. Really enjoy.
I was able to resurrect a Briggs, 18 hp twin from an old Wards tractor after it sat for about 17 years. Oiled the cylinders and checked for spark and it runs like a top!! Course I did run it dry before storing it!!
Nice job. Strong torque engine.
Ok I'll share an easier way to put the fuel pump together.
Great fix Jeff👍 Those ole oppys are good engines.
Those are excellent motors I've had a 19 half now I have a 19 hp there both grest engines
Hi Jeff. Really enjoyed your video. I look forward to your upcoming content. Good job.
Ues a ittle oil to stick the diaphran on the main carb . put the pump on a bench. set the carb on the pump. I have been working on small engines for over 60 years.
Nice job Jeff. Really enjoy your channel.
I’ve parted out over 50 riding mowers and I think around 8 of them had one of those Briggs two cylinder opposed engines. They idle really smooth and are well balanced. I sold every one I had because they are splash lube types. I really wish Briggs had kept building opposed piston engines with improvements because the V-Twin Vanguards don’t idle smoothly.
Sounds real good but those broken head bolts need replaced immediately. Like pronto.
Great sounds nice. Thanks
Interesting carb rebuild and nice Briggs. If I ever come across 1 - Look for a package on your door step lol.
