Steering wheel would be brought back to like new with some foaming cleaner, like ambersil amberclens and a new microfibre cloth. all in about £10, certainly worth a go before it's sent off for a refurb. Nice video too btw, very honest about the abilities of you and the car. It's refreshing to see.
If you haven't got a LSD then get one. Tyres will make a big improvement on track with more grip, then add in a LSD so that you can apply the power you have got on to the track. I have got a Gripper in my 200 and it was the single best modification I have made to it.
Great advice! I've got some nearly new MRF's to fit to the car now which will hopefully make a big difference. A diff is not out of the question, but we'll see.
The Integra slapped both - and so it should. 300bhp N/A vs 180bhp at best. The teg had MRF’s and was doing 58’s with plenty of room to improve. I had AD80RS’s and they were awful. The best I did was a 1:05. The 182 broke down on the sighting lap - dead alternator 😂
Ah ok. I am considering changing my 200 for either a 182 or a teg, but I am not really set on any yet. The 200 is so stable near the limit, I am afraid it could only get worse.@@ChristopherGower
Another good video 👍 no disrespect but im not to impressed with the clio200 my last 182 (standard road tyres) with similar setup as your 200 managed better times at brands. Hopefully it's a conference thing and more seat time will help. Looking forward to seeing the next session 👍
Cheers dude. None taken at all. It's 100% a confidence thing. I should have been getting sub 1 minutes. Personally, I am not overly enamored with the 200 yet. Maybe i'll gel with it in time, but at the moment, I'm still not 100% sold. More seat time planned in August so we will see
Good to hear, there was a 197/200?? Out on that session with me and it was in the corners he pulled away from me most. Looking forward to seeing more on this car 🙂 and hopefully going to get myself back in a weekend/track car soon 🤞
AD08RS, relatively new as previous owner purchased them last summer. We kept checking pressures throughout the evening. Was running them at about 28-30psi.
SW Motorsports. They still sell them. Fairly easy to fit without trim inside. You’d have to cut the rear door cards to fit around the foot plates if you’re going for a clubsport spec. Hope that helps
I'd like to retain the door cards if possible, so this sounds like the right cage if it only requires a little bit of trimming. Perfect, thank you for your help.@@ChristopherGower

Really enjoyed these vids mate! All the bits regarding the cage in the previous vid was very helpful for me and my journey ❤
Great video Sir, I have a 200 factory cup parked up in the garage. Just need to get in running! This makes me want to get it fixed asap!
Try baby wipes on the steering wheel, works wonders.
Love clios 😍 i prefer the 197 front end though 👀
Cool
Just get some wheels with the correct offset or get a set of wheels made with the right offset.
Good shout. Do you know what offset people typically run? was doing some research into the X85 cup racer wheels which are 8J.
I love your helmet mate where did you get it from and great video 😁
It’s a guy Martin helmet, pinched from my bro who’s into bike racing. AGV K1 HELMET GUY MARTIN. 👌
So how was it compared to the 182 and Integra? Who got better times?

What tyres were you using on the Clio ?

Soo Clio 200 or FN2? :)
HI, which cage did you fit please?
