Absolutely. Brilliant musical talent, etc. but I have a feeling John was more of a mess than we'll ever know. At age 40, he was just getting his shit together so who knows how he would've evolved. What a shame.
John's family was not exactly poor. In fact, his family's finances was much better than Paul's family. It was the circumstances surrounding his family that made him aloof and a rebel.

I have been trying for many years to contact Julian and make him aware of two things, first his is my favourite version of my song, and secondly although Dave Clark has his name as the writer of the song he had nothing at all to do with writing it, in fact when I first played and sung it to him and Mike Smith although Mike instantly loved it Dave was not so keen on it, he said it' was not a DC5 type song', he wanted to keep to the 'Glad all over' format, and in fact 'Because' first saw the light of day as a 'B' side on one of the DC5 records!!!

Hello Joan, How're you doing? Your comments caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you. Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you! It's nice meeting you here.
To all people saying John Lennon was just too young to be a father. Being too young does not erase parental instinct, does not prevent you from being loving and altruistic. Besides, Cynthia was also young, and Paul was even younger, and Paul did more than John did. There are no excuses for abusive and disloyal men. And this is coming from a huge Lennon fan. I think we can be fans of his public persona, and some aspects of his personality, while disliking others.
When Hey Jude came out, not too many people knew it was about Julian, and originally entitled Julian, I believe. It's amazing to learn this so many years later. Julian's willingness to share this personal stuff is very cool and has nearly brought me to tears. I came of age during the Beatles rise, and in Vietnam John Lennon was one of our leaders of thought we listened to when off duty and turned on, and tuned in. John Lennon had a big effect on the diminishment of that war, I know he did. We loved the Beatles in the war, and they and good Vietnamese cannabis sativa turned our minds around to face the truth; John Lennon gave us some truth, and that was that peace was the only viable choice; all else was heresy. We traded heroes in the 60s, and one of them whom we traded the politicians for was John Lennon. Thank God for Julian, a great gift from John and Cindy to us. Julian, ya. I love your music and listening to you share your beautifl soul. A distant fan, me.
you're obviously a well educated intellectual who would know a lot. A lot about screwing your cousins in the barn after a "proud hunt". What a thing to be proud about. You can point a high powered rifle and pull the trigger. Wow...impressive.
Yes, that's pretty well documented BUT in John's defense, alot of people are assholes before age 40, then they grow up. Especially people who come from a background as fucked up as his. He was just starting to get his shit together, when the end came.
Hello Joseppi, How're you doing? Your comments caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you. Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you! It's nice meeting you here.
Now we can see how John might of looked if he was allowed to grow old. Julian is already 54 and John will remain 40 forever. I feel sorry for Julian because Yoko took his father from him and until he grew up, there was not much he could do about it.

Julian Lennon seems to have the calmer Liverpool tones, like McCartney has, vocally in speech. His Dad was faster and more aggressive in talking. High end voice. Paul had a calmer sort of deep voice.
The most amazing moments in life are the ones in between or just before they become famous. when you cant predict when fame happens to people. Knowing those people then prior is powerful.
For John abandoning Julian at such an early age, and not including him in his will, or later being any part of his life, Julian excelled as a great man and musician. But from what I hear about the after life, I belief John realized the wrong he did for Julian, and came back through death to make up for it and help his son succeed for the snub he gave him in life.
He's very down to earth. A classy gentleman..Honest, with no affectations. I'd like to see him get together with Lisa Marie Presley. They'd be a good match.

Julian from the outset & independent of the fame he created for himself in his own right, and his famous last name or lineage, is a really delightful, likable human being. It’s obviously bc of his humble beginnings and his mother. His father truly lost out and clearly had issues of his own, handing his life over to that head case “Joko.” My feelings are he realized that the towards the end of his life.
Julian really is what I picture the child of John Lennon being like. Sean on the other hand... ehhhh... He got his father's looks, sure, but I don't know if he necessarily got his talent as well. Not to say he's a _bad_ musician, but he's definitely not on the same level as his father or older brother. I can't imagine how difficult it was -and still is- to have been raised under the pressure of being expected to be as good of a musician/performer as John was. Especially with all of the inter-family drama that went on between Julian and Yoko.
April if you ask me Sean can't hold a candle to how much better Julian is. John left Julian when he was about 3 years old. How can a man do that kind of makes me think John was a crappy dad to him.
Julian looks so like his dad, but he is a better person, more gentle, and kind. That's Cynthia's upbringing of him. RIP Cynthia.

Dreamer!

John abandoned him really..you can see the sadness in his eyes
Looks like his dad.
no hes rockefellers son
Julian is funny, kind, down to earth a great person. Mom´s love and work.
Great guy. John would be proud.
you're obviously a well educated intellectual who would know a lot. A lot about screwing your cousins in the barn after a "proud hunt". What a thing to be proud about. You can point a high powered rifle and pull the trigger. Wow...impressive.
But chizmo7 he kinda was an asshole, aside from his artistic genius.
Yes, that's pretty well documented BUT in John's defense, alot of people are assholes before age 40, then they grow up. Especially people who come from a background as fucked up as his. He was just starting to get his shit together, when the end came.
I think John would be proud to see his son doesn't repeat his father's mistakes, like John did.
am always impressed how complete strangers know so well how any famous person would feel, and in what kind of development they were in.
Julian your mature , you have insight into people- you are a respectable man
Hello Joseppi,
How're you doing?
Your comments caught my attention and that is why I am reaching out to you.
Your fan love for me warms my heart, Thank you!
It's nice meeting you here.
What a soulful man. Wonderful story about the White Feather and his foundation / doc...
Now we can see how John might of looked if he was allowed to grow old. Julian is already 54 and John will remain 40 forever. I feel sorry for Julian because Yoko took his father from him and until he grew up, there was not much he could do about it.
so sad the way John treated him and his mother
He does sound like Paul and I think he sings a lot like Paul. Same energy and delivery. They are both gentlemen and professional pleasantly polite.
He comes across as very nice and genuine.
This is like John Lennon being normal. Julian has his mother’s traits and personality.
I love julian lennon since 1986 god i loved going to all hes concerts singing all the music i loved and music videos we're awesome too.i have such a crush on him too The good old days.

he has his mothers heart......................
Julian Lennon seems to have the calmer Liverpool tones, like McCartney has, vocally in speech. His Dad was faster and more aggressive in talking. High end voice. Paul had a calmer sort of deep voice.
It's sad because they never knew each other atall
Hello Janice,
How're you doing?
Thanks for all your love and support, also for being an amazing fan.
It's nice meeting you here.
The most amazing moments in life are the ones in between or just before they become famous. when you cant predict when fame happens to people. Knowing those people then prior is powerful.
The lady doing the interview is so beautiful
For John abandoning Julian at such an early age, and not including him in his will, or later being any part of his life, Julian excelled as a great man and musician. But from what I hear about the after life, I belief John realized the wrong he did for Julian, and came back through death to make up for it and help his son succeed for the snub he gave him in life.
He's very down to earth. A classy gentleman..Honest, with no affectations. I'd like to see him get together with Lisa Marie Presley. They'd be a good match.

Lovely guy and his dad
class act, mother raised him well
The real difference between Julian and John is that Julian goes out of his way to help others while with John it was nothing bur lip service
+johnny foosball So John gave birth to the better man. There is a reason for everything.
Marty John was merely a sperm donator , Cynthia is responsible for the well mannered good person that Julian grew up to be
+johnny foosball haha true
JNagarya And blind worship of celebrites without caring about their true personalities is what in your opinion?
JNagarya I know Beatles because I was fan of them. But later I found that john lennon was an asshole. He unnecessarily acted like a jerk on every interview.
Such a good person. Thank you Julian for your great work. 💚🙏💚
Julian surely stands out all out on his own
Love the charity he's doing
love the beatles from 11 years old i use to go next door to my friends house they had a color tv we didnt and i was 11 when they first appered on ed selaven show and me and my friend never miss the show we loved th ebeatles
I admire your ability to become a great man despite the circumstances that have happened to you. You are an example of overcoming ❤️🌟
JULIAN SEEMS LIKE A GREAT GUY
my gawd he sounds like Paul.
The 909s because paul was a father figure to him. Hes influence on julian is undeniable.
+April Pierce Sean's album "Midnight Sun" with his band The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger is better than anything Julian Lennon has ever recorded.
Yet you're here giving hard time to Sean
April P shady and passive aggressive all rolled into one
May04bwu ikr
April if you ask me Sean can't hold a candle to how much better Julian is. John left Julian when he was about 3 years old. How can a man do that kind of makes me think John was a crappy dad to him.
Love our Julian Lennon great interviews northern soul ❤❤
We all love Julian
In the documentary Julian looks exactly like John , Julian is a great person love him
