❤❤ Hı from Türkiye.. I am happy to inform you about the Istanbul "Pen Fest" event, held at Çırağan Palace on 9-10 November 2024, where all pen lovers and companies in the world will meet. Thank you for the video.❤❤
Congratulations on the new pen. The Prera is a great pocket pen in my book. I have one in ivory with a fine nib that stays in my motorcycle jacket. My other pocket pen is an Elite 95s also in fine. I have Lamys, TWSBIs, Jinhaos and other Pilots. My favorite are my TWSBI Vac 700R. I prefer the fine/extra fine over the medium/broad nibs. Find what works for you and keep collecting/using your pens.
I'm always glad to see a new video from you! This stuff is my happy place. I embrace technology, but for creativity and things like that, I love the analog vibe so much more. I've only recently gotten into fountain pens myself, but my TWSBI Eco is my favorite possession in the world right now. Writing with it is a joy. I appreciate your channel because I love traveler's notebooks and journals, even the junk ones, but there is an absence of a masculine direction in that space. Don't get me wrong, I learned how to make faux-dori journals from those folks (which I did with a leather cover that fits the 3.5x5.5" notebooks and it is rad). So I appreciate what they do, but it's cool to see how other gents use these things. Safe Travels!
You can’t say something stupid! I love fountain pens, the look etc. I have too many and don’t use them much because of a tremor I’ve developed. Pencils and erasers work best for me. Love your channel.
I so adore that little chonky fountain pen haha. The ink in the new one you tried is gorgeous, it reminds me of cerulean. Also, I just noticed the pencil that you have, and it reminded me that my dad actually had a few pencils like that! I wonder if my mom's kept any of them over the years. So with the fountain pens, it seems like they're worth the investment - I have a couple of prefilled Pilot fountain pens I love. But that one that you've had for 10 years, is the original ink still in it? I'm so curious! Have a great weekend Jack. Thanks again for another fun video!
I‘ve been carrying a Kaweco Liliput in my jeans pocket for easy access and a Prera attached to my notebook for more comfortable writing. I wouldn’t use either for longer writing sessions, though.
I've been waiting for this review. What you probably experience; when you say you are liking the Lamy and Kaweco's writing; more than the Pilot pen, could be that both Lamy and Kaweco are German brands, with German manufactured nibs. Pilot is a Japanese company and Pilot nibs are known to write a finer line. So a Pilot medium nib will write more like a German fine, and a Pilot fine will be more like a German; or Western; extra fine. That's why I ordered a medium nib in my Prera. I dislike extra fines in most pens. But your gray Prera is a classic and I'm sure you'll come to enjoy it.
Thanks Teresa. Good information. I enjoyed your review very much. I also picked up the Pilot Explorer but haven’t unboxed it yet. I’m thinking about getting a Conklin or a Sailor next.

Thanks for watching. Sounds like a fun event!
Pilot makes some great pens, but my favorite is definitely their Vanishing Point. One of my all time favorite pens.
I’ve been looking at that one. I’ve picked up an Explorer I’ll be edcing soon as well. Thanks for watching.

Thanks David!
Ha ha ha. I fell for the unusual cartridge insertion too. I really like that blue and may just try it next as I am currently filled with black ink.
It’s a head scratcher 😁. Thanks for watching!
I've been in a journaling slump longer than I'd like to admit, and your utilitarian outlook on the process is so refreshing. Thanks for the videos! :)
Thanks so very much for watching!!
I love this Perera Fountian Ppen.
Me too. I’ve been carrying it this week and I really like the size. I’m liking this blue ink too. Thanks for watching!

Thank you very much for following along! I appreciate it.
You got that for a great price. They're usually over $40 USD. I have the same color with a medium nib, and it's my favorite steel nib.
Thanks Joseph. So far I’m enjoying it. Good little pen.
I have the Pilot Prera in medium nib. I really love it. I use it at work a lot. The fine nib is too fine for me.
It seems to be a great size for edc. Thanks for watching!

Thanks very much. The Lamy I’ve had for about ten years has a cartilage converter in it that I keep refilling. It’s a great pen.

Thanks. I think my Safari is going to be hard to beat. But I’ll keep searching. Been looking at the Conklin pens. I see one of those in my future.
@@SigogglinJack the Safari is just reeeeeally long as a pocket pen
@DijaVlogsGames that’s for sure 👍
