Lamy SAFARI vs Pilot EXPLORER Which is BEST for EDC??

I prefer the Lamy personally to to Pilot. I find that pilots suction converter does leak a bit and while I appreciate the Japanese fin nibs they feel a little scratchy to me. I've always enjoyed how Lamy's nibs perform. It's just such a smooth writing pen even if it is a little on the wetter side.
8:37 missed opportunity to use the Victorinox Explorer to view the nib on the Pilot Explorer.

Go with the Platinum Preppy instead. Way cheaper and writes just as good, if not better.
