Good evening Tina, absolutely love your cowl, so simple and the picot edging just finishes it off perfectly and thank you for sharing it with us all xx
Thank you for such easy to follow tutorials and effective patterns. I am about halfway through the January cowl, only my second project. Looks like I now have a third.
That was Great, Tina,,,, Can't wait to start this one,,,though I must finish the last cowl pattern,,,,which I am so enjoying,,,,I am slow!!! Must pick out some dk for this one,,,,Glad u showed the tutorial for edging,,,,that helps so much!!!! Elaine🏡🏡🏡
Oh for goodness sake, I've spent all day, with some stunning yarn, crocheting it, trying the hitchhiker with it, but as its emerald, on 1 half, and faint baby pinkish on the other, nothing looked right, especially with those purl blips that show up in garter. So Stockinette in the round was my best option. I've just casted on I've no idea, how many stitches 🙄 started with 2 by 2 ribbing, I'll fudge it if I've too many, then I turn youtube on, and up pops your tutorial. It's perfect, I wish I'd seen it earlier. The teeth edging is perfect. So I say, For goodness sake, in a good way, as I could have knitted half your cowl by now, lol. Thankyou, for helping me make my mind up about what to do. I should have turned the notifications on. 🤦♀️🙄💞
I hope you are happy with the results. I had trouble with this yarn to , this was not the cowl I was originally going to knit. Sometimes you need to find the right project. I'm glad I could help x
Good evening Tina Thank you so much for the tutorial for your January’s cowl, this one is going to be my March cowl. I’m really enjoying my year of cowls, thank you for the brilliant idea. Hope your keeping safe and well. Xxxx
Hi Jeanette, I'm glad your enjoying them . I'm finding them fun little projects . I'm already thinking if I have 12 socks and cowls knit this year, what am I going to do with myself next year 🤔 Year of garments ? Definitely not 1 a month 😵 . Thanks for watching x
Hi I’ve just been watching your tutorials and love them. I hope your going to be doing more? I noticed it’s about 8 months ago. Have you moved to another channel?
Hi Tina. I love watching all your videos and I've learnt a lot from you! Thanks for sharing your Feb cowl with us. I love it and so I just had to knit one for myself. But the teeth of my cowl are not staying flat down like yours. Any advice on what I could do to correct it?
Have you blocked it ? If not I would recommend soaking and pinning for wool or steam (above not on the yarn ) and pinning for acrylic. I hope this helps x
@@Simplyinstitches No, Tina, I haven't blocked it. I will try it although I'm a little wary of doing so, coz it's a beautiful acrylic yarn and I don't want to damage it as I had damaged my very first acrylic Cardigan that I knitted a few months ago (the yarn melted quite a bit and it broke my heart!) Thanks for your prompt response Tina, I truly appreciate it :) I can hardly wait to see what cowl we'll be knitting in March. Happy stitching!
Thanks you for sharing this pattern im a newbie an im still having issues with my purling so any advice is welconed PLEASE....also do you find it easier to knit with metal or wooden needles i was told to use wooden ones to learn but they they kill my finger tips. Also dumb question but whats the difference between regular yarn an a DK weight im so lost when it comes to the yarn weights ect... i dont know anyone in my town thelat does any crafts let alone knitting an crossstitch that couls help me
Hi , wooden needles grip the yarn more so yes try something else that may help your hands . DK yarn is 8ply , twice as thick as 4ply (fingering) not as thick as Aran . It's hard to give you curling tips without seeing how you knit . I would recommend you try Very pink knits on UA-cam. She has the best tutorials and they are for every aspect of knitting. Good luck x
Thank you for always being so kind & sharing all your lovely makes & creations with us xx
Love it when I see your videos popping up 🤗
Thank you for the tutorial on the soft teeth! It helps me so much more when I see someone stitch rather than reading a pattern.
Good evening Tina, absolutely love your cowl, so simple and the picot edging just finishes it off perfectly and thank you for sharing it with us all xx

It's the enjoying that matters not the speed . You get better value for money with your yarn when you knit slower , it lasts longer 😁
You make it look so easy!

Thank you Tina, love it
Thank You Very Much ❤️
Hi Tina! Lovely cowl!
I like the needles and I would like to know where did you bought them?
Thank you!
I love this cowl.I see that you did a picot bind off. I finished a scarflet in Mardis Gras colors with size 5 mm needles and sock yarn.
I don't understand the first knitting two together. For every stitch or just once? Beautiful pattern!
That’s so cool thanks
Glad you enjoyed it 😁
Nice thank you xx
I really like this x
What is the circumference and length of this cowl please please

@@patzzzzpat you could try soaking and then pinning to dry . Not as effective as for wool but it may work and wouldn't do any harm . I hope it works x
@@Simplyinstitches Thanks Tina. I will try doing that.
This looks great! Can’t wait to try it! I love your accent! What part of the uk are you from?
I'm on the edge of Oxfordshire so central UK. Thanks for watching x

Very pretty (◕‿◕✿)
❥••thank you for teaching us
I think you would be better off with a 16 inch needle for a cowl. 12 inches is great for socks
I prefer 12 but everyone finds their own preferences. I'll always be a 9" sock girl . Thanks for watching x
