You are a little SWEETHEART. I’m sure this is the first time I’ve seen anyone during a TUTORIAL! And showed the different needle size for US and CANADIAN. This means a lot to us knitters. I always have to hunt to find the size the proper size. BLESS YOU. ❤️🏴🇨🇦🥰🌹
Love this cowl. I’ve made several and everyone loves the elegance of it . The button really adds that touch of class. Thanks your instructions ,perfect. Especially for a novice like me.
Thank you for this video! I just made my first cowl using a Caron Chunky Cake. Your directions were very clear and the video had great camera work. I was able to see exactly how to complete each stitch.
Thank you, Ann! My method is adapted from how I was taught to hold my yarn to crochet. I did a video on how I hold my yarn here: ua-cam.com/video/LsFZg2Bn06E/v-deo.html Hope this helps!
I'm giving it a go with bernat blanket and using sz 10 circular, which are driving me nuts. Shopping for straight needles tomorrow. Finding the K - p rows tedious and might change to k2 p2 to give my aching hands a break. I'm not worrying about gauge. Cut my hair & my neck is cold! 😉 Just frogged it!
Just made it but my yarn was acrylic and not as thick and I made it too length but since it’s not as chunky it’s not as tight as I would like. I’m making a couple so I think the next one will be just right
Love it & hoing to do for Grandkids having Snow. Could you BOOST The Volume? I had to put my hear up to the Speaker & then run it again so I could see it. It'd just be nice to hear & see it at the same time. Got a sweet voice though.
Hi Kelly! If the sound is not loud enough, you might try also checking that the little volume slider on the UA-cam video player is turned up. If that is turned down, then it will still be quiet even if the speakers on your device are turned up all the way. Hope this helps!
UK knitter here, just made a start on this with 6.5mm needles and "James C Brett Chunky with Merino" yarn. 20 rows in but it looks far too narrow.. Do I have the wrong gauge yarn.?
That yarn is the correct thickness for this pattern. The yarn I used was a little heavy compared to other yarns in the same category, but it was still classified as a #5 Bulky yarn. If your piece seems narrow, I would suggest comparing it to the measurements in the written pattern, as well as the pattern gauge. I hope this helps!
Hi Laura. I have not made this with sport weight yarn, so I would not know how many yards you would need. I would suggest getting more yarn than you think you'll need, just to have some extra in case you need it. I hope this helps!

Nicely done (as usual). You have a unique way of knitting. I always like watching how other people hold their yarns. : )

Can you provide the finished blocked measurements you used? Can figure out gauge from there; would appreciate it, thanks.
Hi Gaylene. The finished size of the rectangle is 23” (61 cm) long by 10 ½” (30.5 cm) wide. I hope this helps!
If I knitted it with 2 sport yarn could you please let me know how many yards?
Hi Laura. I have not made this with sport weight yarn, so I would not know how many yards you would need. I would suggest getting more yarn than you think you'll need, just to have some extra in case you need it. I hope this helps!
Is it all wool ? Thanks great
Hi Judy! Yes, it is 100% wool, from the December 2018 KnitCrate (ua-cam.com/video/RKqeCFuAJUM/v-deo.html) Hope this helps!
What is the length and width of the rectangle?
Hi. The finished piece is 23" by 10.5" according to the dimensions given in the written instructions. I hope this helps!
