I wish I had someone like you to hang out & knit with... Or maybe be part of a knitting circle. None of my friends or coworkers knit or want to learn. They think it's too hard or that they don't have patience. Ugggg! They just don't get the quiet, awesomeness of creating something with your hands.
I'm grateful I have my crafts. We are the lucky ones. While everyone is struggling with nothing to do in lockdown I'm doing more of what I love. We are blessed to have UA-cam for online knitting friends . Take care x
I love this cowl Tina and such an easy knit to do at night in front of TV - I’m definitely going to try this. Cowls are fab to wear inside instead of a scarf especially when cooking as they don’t get in the way - thank you 😊 xx
Thank you, I am a crocheter but from time to time I do some knitting this looks like something I would like to try at present cowls are my favorite projects and I have just the yarn for it -- I bought the yarn for a Christmas present for myself, Karma, yes. May I buy you a cup of coffee as a thank you for such a lovely pattern.
Your tutorials are the best! I’m already planning to get this one on my needles today! I’m already looking forward to the next cowl. Thank you for taking the time to make these tutorials. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So easy. I think I could even manage it 😊. I’m going to keep it in mind when it cools down a bit here (it’s 37C today 🥵). Thanks for sharing. Happy crafting 🐞🐞🐞
Thanks for posting this Tina. This morning I unravelled a cowl I'd been knitting as I wasn't happy with how it was turning out. (I never mind unravelling, it just means more knitting fun from the same ball of wool!) I was making up the pattern as I went along but this time round I'll try your pattern instead!
Hi Tina. Thank you for the pattern. Will be trying this sometime. Not sure when though but I I've tried posting on Instagram today and having some difficulties with it. Its not letting me post anything for some reason. O well. You knit lovely items. Always look lovely. Take care, have a great weekend and catch you again soon. Xxx
I love this cowl so much, I cast one on, but I was wondering: if I didn’t want it to curl on top, what could I do? Wouldn’t it also look nice if I continued with the knit 18, purl 4 for the whole thing?
If you carry on in the pattern it will still roll. To stop it rolling either end with a rib (1 ×1 , 2x2, 1x2 etc knit x purl) or garter stitch ( knit row , purl row repeat ) happy knitting
Is each section measured by itself? If so, then per your instructions, each section if 11cm. I am confused where to measure from at the beginning. Should I measure from the bottom of the cowl or just measure from the beginning of the first section. Please clarify.
You could but you would have to rewrite the pattern . 2 knit rows make stockinette stitch in the round , garter stitch in the round , it's not the same . I suggest you give knitting in the round a go . It's really easy . Take a look at some tutorials on UA-cam x
Hi, yes thank you for thinking of me . I started a new job and with the heatwave not a lot of crafting has been done . I'm hoping to do a little catch up soon . I hope you are well and enjoying the summer. Take care x
Thank you for the pattern. Can't wait to start this cowl. I like to wear cowls around the house and when I walk my dog.
Hi I like your cowl I’m going to try to make it 🤞🏼

I’ve tried 16” but cast on stitches are stretched and I can’t do magic loop. I’m going to try 12”
Tina, I cannot seem to get hold of 3mm x 30cm needles, can you tell me where you got yours from please,
I usually buy from Amazon if it's a single item . I hope you find something suitable, they can be a little longer x
Am not understanding the the yarn used is it like sock yarn
Yes it's 4ply / fingering weight
Thank you Tina, I am looking forward to knitting this cowl. Can I please ask what length of circular needles you used as they did not look very long?
Hi it's 12 " (30cm ). Happy knitting x
