As I got my philodendron birkin, I divided it into three plants because I thought there were too many individual plants planted in the same pot... Now I realise it's just its growth pattern to grow bushy...So I have really tiny birkins and I think they are cute. The biggest one has pin stripes but others don't. The early division could have been really bad for the plant but luckily they all survived. The funny thing is that the plant came in a mini pot from the nursery. It was the size of a shot glass, and still I decided to divide it😳

That is exactly what happened to me! Tiny cup bought from Hofer (Aldi) and four little ones couped together in a small amount of potting soil.. seemed barely able to breathe in there.. and I did the same thing, divided them in pairs into 'decent-sized' pots with large drainage holes and more room for roots to spread.. thinking is not knowing, I guess 🤷‍♀️😅🙈 So now mine, too, look as if they're about to remain minuature.. well, so long as they're healthy and keep developing new leaves.. ❤

Mine has been like this since the day I brought her home. I then repotted due to it being in the wrong soil mixture from the nursery and then placed it backwards towards bright indirect light, fertilized and left it for about two months and Ariel’s took root and are finally starting to ground her. 🙏🏼😄 but I dealt with the wobbly for ab 6mo prior and it drove me nuts so I’m kinda glad I’m not the only one.

Such a great video! I'm at a loss with mine (I have two) because I find it quite difficult to get these to grow new leaves. I have a ton of plants that are all doing quite well, these included, but one of mine are actually turning brown when they grow new leaves and I have no idea why :/ I think I could be giving it more light and I'm watering it twice a week in the summer in Arizona. What could be the cause of new leaves getting brown right away and not growing? Any input would be appreciated. Also, I have a question about money trees if you know anything about this beautiful plant. Thanks in advance!

@@SheffieldMadePlants Sorry. Didn't mean to switch accounts on you. Like I said I'll try watering once a week instead of two. But quick question about a money tree, would you happen to know why the tips are turning brown? Could that be too much water? It's in a good pot I think, bright indirect light, and been watering it twice a week as well. Thinking about cutting back to once a week. There are always new leaves growing which is a good sign, just wondering if the brown tips mean I'm over watering.
