I grew up with this computer, lots of memories playing Maelstrom, Railroad Tycoon, Color Vette! and Hellcats Over the Pacific on it. In 1994 i was turning eight and nagged my dad for permission to buy Doom 2 just out for Mac, the IIsi managed to squeeze out 1-2 FPS from it. I had no idea something was wrong, it was still the coolest thing I had ever seen, and I still beat it.
+Jason's Macintosh Museum Not sure, I know there was a version of Wolfenstein 3D for the IIgs, but I'm wondering if there was a separate Mac version or not, too. That was obviously id Software's other game from that era, obviously much more primitive than Doom, but still quite enjoyable.
Hi have you checked macintosh garden they have a great mac version of it and doom II they have all apps that have been abandond so its all free great way to get any mac stuff you dont have by the way I just got an unusual mac made by another company I'll do a video soon.
Cool video! Haha the old games are probably running a lot faster on this beastly 25mhz machine than the hardware they were originally designed to run on :-)
Nate Taube Are you using a genuine Apple monitor or using a VGA adapter? If you are using a VGA adapter with a IIsi, you need to set it up for "sync on green", if I remember correctly.

Viktor Olsson I used to play Doom - but the DOS version. I need to find the Mac version of it for one for my videos!

parad0x666 Yes indeed! Some games did allow you to choose the model of Mac that you were using, to prevent them from running excessively fast.
I used this computer in Elementary school. It's the computer I played a lot of Oregon Trail, Super Munchers & Dr. Quandary.
Great video! :) I like in how good mood you are. :D

Your microphone is not working properly. It sounds like you are talking from the back of the rohm.
rohm = room
Maybe You Should Clean The Mouse
