This is the second video in the series on the Apple Macintosh Centris 610 from 1993.
In this video, the Macintosh Centris 610 from 1993 will be started up to demonstrate the Macintosh System (MacOS) 8.1.
The games "The Incredible Machine" and "Factory - The Industrial Devolution" will also be demonstrated. - Наука та технологія
This takes me way back. I first watched this video when it came out, 7 years ago. I was 11 years old.
I remember laughing so hard at the factory game when the broken products would come out and make that silly sound. It cracked me up.
I found this channel when I was 10. Somehow, I watched every video this channel ever produced, and was always on top of new videos, up until the very moment Jason stopped posting 5 years ago, and I still kept checking for new videos until I realized the channel died.
For some reason, 10 year old me loved videos about vintage Macintoshes, their hardware, software, and their cool chimes.
And I still love vintage computing today, and very recently acquired a sawtooth Power Mac G4. And I owe a lot of that interest to all these videos.
While you probably won't see this, thank you Jason.

Like the previous poster I'd also love to see a start up and tour of a Performa machine. Months and months of fun playing Mac Arcade Pak 2, Operation Weather Disaster, The Daedalus Encounter and Sim City on the Performa back in the day!

I have a Macintosh SE but it has a broken hard-drive.
Pity it's not on a bigger table - you could have demonstrated how the keyboard would bump the power button just by nudging the keyboard accidentally!
Hey, great video! The solution to the game - in the main menu, you have some planets illustrated. They change the gravitation. if you change it to normal (Earth), it should be fine. You have it set on Jupiter at the moment. :)

Your demo sure takes along time to start up. I don't remember my Centris 610 taking so long to start up. I been attempting to start it up again after more than 20 years. I replaced the long dead lithium ion battery powering the PRAM. But to no avail. With new battery still no startup, just the failure musical tune plays. So power supply is working (green LED works). I can hear the fan working. I have no idea to what would fail while the machine just sat in storage for 20+ years besides the PRAM battery. Maybe the electrolytic capacitors have deteriorated. I have an SE 30 that still works just fine that is older than the Centris 610. I have all kinds of software that worked well for me in the past on the 610. Love to use it again, but can't get the damn thing to start up. I would like to know what fails most often when a machine just sits for years besides the PRAM battery?
