My wife's Chihuahua serves as a wonderful alarm clock or home alrm system but due to my hyper sensitivity to sound I like him as long as he's quiet in the morning or at night
I saw you on another video that was 10 facts about Chihuahuas that you need to know Edit: hold up😂😂 thats this video😬 this pandemic is rlly getting to me😭😭
I got my Chihuahua as a gift for starting preschool from my mom. I shared 21 beautiful years with my bubby. I lost her last, summer & miss her everyday. Such a vivacious breed tiny and filled with so much energy and love ❤️
Mr Valenzuela I’m very sorry for your loss. My beloved little chihuahua passed away 2 and a half years ago and I will miss him every day. I never for a moment thought I’d get another and my Dad was especially resistant to the idea. A couple of months ago we welcomed a new little girl into our lives and she is a treasure... and my Dad is totally smitten. We will never forget our little boy, he was a truly unique friend who holds a very special place in all our hearts. But I can assure you, with the passage of time, you might find yourself ready to love another. Until then, my thoughts are with you.
If you have ever had a Chihuahua then you've been blessed with the most loving, devoted, silly, bossy, wonderful, fun, sweetest friend. I ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ my Chihuahuas.
My Tennie Louise was my little baby. She passed away in January and we're still grieving for our baby. You could never replace the one you've lost, as,they have their own little personality! We are looking for another female. We miss our Tennie ! We have a small female Terrier mix and she is missing Tennie and has gone into depression.
I had 1 she passed by a car after 15 months we saved coco on my profile as you can see he also has a instagram cocothedoglikes_tobark go give him some love
Well my girlfriend has one and altough he's loveable, he's also fucking annoying. Barks endlessly at people, charge people, agressive around food and bones, pee and poop inside all the time... Ah yes, and he snaps! So lovely 😒
I actually thought they’re so aggressive and evil but Im a dog lover and I was sure that I was wrong so I came here and read the comments that they are so lovely 💖 tell me more about them
My Chihuahua lived to be 15 years old and passed away in his sleep. His name was Esteban. I miss him dearly still, and it's been 3 years. This made me want another one! I think I will indulge myself and find one to adore and spoil and fill my life with ❤️
Both of mine were rescues and they came housebroken, adorable, knew how to use doggie door. They are fiercely protective and loyal. The first (long haired) was at the shelter and she was curled up in a small circular bed. She was the first dog we passed. She looked shell-shocked and so passive. I had no intention of getting a chihuahua. I always had poodles. Well, she was the only small, female so I said reluctantly to bring her out so we could take her in a visitor room. The minute she realized she was leaving that place, she danced across the lobby, smiling from ear to ear. She fetched toys. Put on a real show! Smartest dog I have ever had. It has been six years now. She can learn anything.
I was lucky to be the mommy of a Chihuahua for 15 yrs, but he passed in June 2017, I still miss him so much. Chihuahuas are one-person dogs, soo loyal and soo intelligent. I miss my Simon like I miss air, sometimes I can't catch my breath thinking about him, I miss him so.
Gysele van Santen-Tomlinson, there's a website that you might be interested in. Someone told me about it when I lost my Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix in Aug 2015. Support and understanding is what you need right now. I'll let you see for yourself. www.rainbowbridge.com
My 2 were never 1 person dogs. 1 pure breed 1 mix they both had multiple homes until coming to live with my daughter and I. They loved snuggling with me and playing with my daughter. Our mix Angel even starred in a You Tube video with my daughter.
I’m 33yrs old and I never personally owned a Chi but my bestfriend who I’ve been with basically every day of my life had a boy Chi that he got when we were 16. He passed away earlier this year(almost 17yrs old) around V-day. We all loved him so much, losing him had us all sad for weeks. RIP lil buddy! you’re loved and missed dearly and always will be! ❤️
I've had my boy almost a year now. He wasn't initially my first choice of dog breed. However now he is my best friend and I wouldn't be without him. He's had such a positive impact on my life as a disabled person and has even become a support dog! So yes they are very intelligent. He is so living and caring and seems to know my bad days and will just come and rest with me, but is ready to play and be a little wild when I'm feeling better. He's amazing, I can't find words to describe it. Only other Chihuahua parents will understand.
Otherwise known as “little dog syndrome” (They think they are a BIG BAD DOG!) 😂😂😂 I have 3, Pixie, Jax, & their baby boy, Bubby. They are my Furbabies! Love them bunches! But yeeaahhh, they can work your nerves alright!Jax is bring crazy territorial in the house over his lil son Bubby, & is seriously lashing out! If Bubby gets close to a space in the house that Jax feels is “his” rather is be my bed, behind the table the TV sits on, or wherever, it appears by his vicious growling, snarling, & barking that he is ripping poor little Bubby (4 months old) apart, but then I look & every time, there isn’t a mark on him! He’s scaring the heck out of me, the puppy, & everyone and putting his mouth on him but not biting down, thankfully! If anyone has any tips on how What helps for chihuahuas to not be so territorial & hateful, please share! Jax isn’t neutered yet, but will be next week, so I’m hoping that does the trick! My girl, Pixie sometimes doesn’t have patience for my kids & will growl at them, but at the same time lives them to pieces! She just doesn’t like sharing me! lol Gotta love them though, faults & all. They are SO LOYAL, & can be so very sweet (when they want to be.) Love them all!
Lynn Harrison I have had chi's and other dogs and raised them too. Could it be that you're Jax is trying to teach Bubby how to be a big mean bad dog , you know like a daddy teaching his son how to fight... I hope I spelled your babies names right !
When I heard they can be possesive and jealous I lolled. My chihuahua Lotus shoves her nose right under your hand if you dare stop petting her. She's a great guard dog, the amount of times she's saved us from squirrels, cats and errant plastic bags blowing past never ceases to amaze me, I love her so much she's my little buddy
@@thencis56 Haha when she's done defending the fort against troublesome plastic bags she looks all proud of herself. She's eyeballing some crows right now :D
@@thencis56 We've not come across any moles. We live in inner city Glasgow so it's usually squirrels and pigeons we encounter here. If she comes across anything really she yaps until someone comes to see what's happening, then she starts wagging her tail and looks all chuffed with herself, she's not a biter but will investigate any wee noise then alerts us to it. She sits up on a chair overlooking the window, she'll bark at big mean looking dogs when she's behind the window, she's not as brave out on walks though unless I am carrying her in my arms, then the cheekiness comes back out
MoNo K I change her name to agravation cause she is more troubble than the grand kids .always bugging the baby . The older kids can handle it. She finely got all her puppy shots.
My little Chocky is a rescue from the hellish Houston dog pounds. He came to me at 5 years of age with stitches in his neck and side, and missing an eye! This poor little beat up guy has the heart of a lion and has settled in to become the sweetest, most loving and devoted little fellow. He’s still fierce though. He’s 7 now and we love him to bits. He still moans when I cuddle him in the morning. What a trooper. God bless the people who pulled him out of that place and fostered him. Love my Chockster.
Ive had my chihuahua smokie for 13 years now and he is my best friend. Hes always there when I need him, if I'm down he cheers me up when I cry he licks my tears away. Hes also the best watch dog and always let's me know when someone is coming up to the house. I love my dog smokie and I couldn't live without him.
I think chihuahuas are one of the most misunderstood dogs next to the pit bull. Only individuals who’ve owned them know what amazing little creatures they are and just how super intelligent and sweet they are.
I'm sorry for your loss a loss of a loyal pet there's nothing more traumatic my dog although he was a Pomeranian Billy Joe his death although he lived 18 to 20 years it was really hard for me he was my best friend Ivan seems like yesterday although I believe in Christianity and I know I will see him again in heaven all dogs to believe go to heaven!
My tiny chihuahua sleeps in the middle of my bed and by morning I am crunched at the edge of the bed and he is stretched out practically pushing me off 🤣🤣
I picked mine up off the highway, he is the greatest gift. He is smart, funny, brave, doesn't yap or tremble, he chases & is chased by my much larger cats who adore him as much as I do. I can't imagine life without him. Like nearly all the other commenters on this video!😍
For those whom have never owned a chihuahua, please take note they can live a long time ! Every year I see people at flea markets selling these dogs around tax season and before the year is out you see them on craglist for free. These dog's are lovely and full of there own character but know they can be a life time commitment. Please be willing to love these guys forever before getting one.
I always had med to large dogs and a friend had a badly treated rescue that needed a home, I reluctantly said yes. She (Doodles) was flown down to me. She had some issues due to her treatment. But I loved and babied her and walks. She started to bloom, became not afraid and is my best friend. Smartest dog I ever had. Now its been 5 years and I am terminal and she has a super bad heart, doc said she could go at anytime. She knows I am ill and does things that dogs do to make you well. I cry and feel so full of love when she does this. We will be together in the afterlife. Doodles is one of the best things that has happened to me.
I did not want a dog!!! My wife and son wanted so badly to get a chihuahua, but I just didn't want one because I know how much care and attention they require. It's like having another child. Not to mention, every chihuahua I'd ever knows was an ill-tempered aggressive little pain in the behind. Finally I gave in, and we adopted a tiny little two year old five pound tan short haired deer-head chihuahua, and named him Frankie. Did you know that chihuahua's tend to choose one family member, and that becomes the person to which they most attach themselves? Yeah, I didn't know that. Guess who Frankie chose as his person. Yep, you guessed it; the guy who so very much did not want a dog. As it turns out, I can't imagine ever being without him. Don't tell my wife, but Frankie truly rivals her as my best friend. Frankie doesn't have a single aggressive bone in his body, he rarely ever barks, and is by far the smartest, most loyal pet I've ever owned. I don't even have to put him on a leash to take him for walks because he stays right by my heel and does pretty much anything I tell him to do. We've had Frankie for 4 years now, and he's slept with us every night since the day we got him. I've never been more in tune with an animal than Frankie and I are with each other. I can't imagine ever being without him. Oh, and yeah, I'm pretty fond of my wife and son too.
The same thing happened with my dad! He did NOT want a dog, then I brought home a baby chihuahua and now they're attached at the hip and my dad adores him! It's so funny seeing a masculine, gruffy man holding a tiny dog in his lap all the time 😂
Chihuahuas dont really beed alot of care because they dont really eat much and you dont need to take them on walks that is optional because they do their own exercise at home, my Chihuahua( Memphis ), she runs at the house LIKE CRAZY
My little one has the biggest personality. She is an adorable little drama queen. She walks with so much pride and attitude. She also will let everyone know if she has a problem with something. She is just the most loving little dog I have ever met.
For people that have never owned a chihuahua ~ You have no idea what you are missing! They are the smartest, most lovable little dogs. They stay small so they always seem like a puppy. ❤️ A Dogs Unconditional Love ~ Cutest Chihuahua Ever, Tommy: ua-cam.com/video/hHr6IvMPWIk/v-deo.html
I have a fully grown chihuahua at 16 almost 17 years old im dog sitting this weekend and my own that is 2 years old, and both are the same size and have the same tenacity haha
Tommy, Gracie & Leo Actuaallyy... I have a 7 year old female chihuahua and I can disagree with SOME of these. If you want a territorial dog, this is the perfect breed. If you want a brave dog (Brave as in isn't afraid to attack), this is the perfect breed. If you want a lovable dog that likes to lay on you and sleep with you, this breed is for you. If you want a loyal dog, this breed isn't for you. If you want a smart dog that can learn tricks well, this breed isn't for you. If you want a strong, not scared of anything dog, this breed isn't for you as a chihuahua is very skittish. Those are the basics for this dog. To be honest this breed is the type of dog to comfort you and warm you up, not guard you or make you feel like nothing can hurt you. Hope it helps!
Andrew Richard mine used to crawl under the covers to the foot of the bed. In the morning she would be sleeping in the tucked sheet hanging off the foot of the bed. She passed at 17 years old.
My little baby passed away a month and ten days ago. We were so close, she would always follow me everywhere in the house and she would get so excited every time she saw me. Last year I spent 6 months in California for an exchange program and I think I missed her more than anyone else back home. I came back and she passed two weeks after, I think she was waiting for me. She was only 9 years old. I don't think anything has hurt as much as this time without her and the worst part is that I'm afraid to get another dog in the future because it's not going to be the same. Last week I had a dream that I got a call from the vet telling me that she had resuscitated and that we could go pick her up. I don't know, it has been really hard. I love you and miss you everyday of my life. RIP Zendayi
My wife and I just lost our Lil Meena/ the mean bean !!! We dont have children so she was the center of our daily lifes. We are still struggling with out her. She just turned 13 and seemed very healthy just a lil bit over weight. So we was very surprised with her passing. It happened sudden in the middle of the night she just stopped breathing. We Rushed to the dog hospital and she passed away in my wife's arms before we got there. So please love your lil ones while you can because they are the best lil dogs in the world.
Sorry to hear about your chi passing. I m not looking forward to that day for my 16 year old chi named Butkus. He’s a service pup and is one of a kind. We walk daily weather permitting. He’s one of the only reasons I have to live for. God bless
I have a Chihuahua & just love her. She IS very brave & up for whatever I'm doing, whether it's going for a car ride or just hangin' out around the house , she JUST wants to be with me. I even take her places in her stroller- yep , she's got her own stroller. One thing I'm really grateful for is that I can leave the house & there's no separation anxiety, yay! But when I do come home she's realllly glad to see me. Aren't dogs great?
The stroller was a gift from a relative ordered from Walmart. It has a bonnet that comes down & zips her in & it pretty much looks like a regular stroller only not so heavy duty & it's large enough for her little friend to go for a stroll as well. Look online that's what we did. I don't have to strap her in as its not a seat inside the stroller, it's flat like a bed with a cushion so she sits or lays down.
I think that if your dog needs a sweater because otherwise it will freeze to death, it’s not a dog. Chihuahuas are probably the worst animals I’ve ever met in my entire life.
I love my Hollypiña. She was a street dog. She found me on July 4th. I was truly blessed on this day. Though since bringing her home I’ve never been able to use the restroom on my own. I have never regretted one day of having her.
My tiny boy is snoring under my covers right now. I never liked little dogs, have had shepherd, dobies, labs & Old English Sheepdogs. My little chi is the smartest, funniest, most fearless dog I’ve ever known. And so affectionate! I love him madly & hope he lives forever ❤
My chihuahua is a rescue & the moment we got him, we were determined to give him the BEST life ever. He’s spoiled rotten & WE love it! 2/17/18 @ 11:04A.
I'm a dog groomer and have been for 27 years. If someone had told me years ago that I would own not one, but four Chihuahuas, I would have called them crazy. It only took one Chihuahua, my Maggie to win me over. She was 3 pounds of Chihuahua madness and I would not trade my life with her for anything! I had to let her go this Summer but I have three more that remind me why I fell in love with this breed to begin with. I love this breed. I love my Chihuahuas. I will ALWAYS have one.
They are the most devoted and most adorable babies to have as a life companion. I have had 3 in my life. My rescue teacup redheaded Chiwah- Cinnamon is my soul mate! Love my lil girl 🐕💕 God sure does have a great and wonderful creation for us to enjoy!! Great informative video Thx! 😀
Mine little guy is the best hes awesome guy some say he looks like a tiny german sherhaed . He has short legs medium size i love him so much ,he goes with me everywhere .
My little buddy Rudy is the best dog I’ve had and he’s a chihuahua. I love him a lot. He’s very quiet and never a problem. He’s nine years old and such a good boy. He is a short hair and he has such nice markings. I love Rudy and hopes he’s with me for a little time yet.
I disliked Chihuahuas until my father gifted one to my children. That one died after 10 years and now we have two other Chihuahuas. They are like chips, you can't have just one!
My brave Chihuahua went over the rainbow bridge a couple of weeks ago. He was about 14 years old or so, but I only had him for the last four years of his life as I adopted him from a shelter. He was such a smart boy and he loved me so much. Such a gaping hole he left and I will miss him forever!
I rescued a older Chihuahua off of the road someone abandoned and he and my other Chihuahua I rescued are very attached to me and so are my other two dogs
Shirley Oliva, bless your heart. If more people were like you, this world would be a better place. I have six, and all rescues. Couldn't imagine my life without them.
I also rescued a abused tea cup that was being starved, never let outside to use the toilet, so she was thrown or kicked for that and many other horrible things. When I rescued her she was emaciated and black with fleas. I had never had a chihuahua before and always thought that they were vicious little things but Dolly changed my mind in an instant. Now I only want another chihuahua as Dolly passed due to severe spinal arthritis. I miss her so much. She is actually on UA-cam singing. Her favourite pastime along with snuggling and walking with me and my son. They are incredible dogs.
balckbettystack, I'll look for Dolly on UA-cam and somehow tell my Jackie Chen (passed on 8/30/15) to find Dolly. Jackie Chen was a mix Chihuahua/Jack Russell. I miss her so much still. I still don't understand why some people get a dog and abuses those indefensible creatures. My last rescue (11/08/16) is a boy, can't figure out the breed, but he's only 12 lbs now. Somebody had kept him in a small cage in a trailer park outside, and he was very sick, and everytime I drove by that place I knew I had to do something. At 7 lbs he needed rescuing, so I just took him. Someone called the cops, and when the Officer found out what I had done seeing the little dog in the front seat almost lifeless, he told me to follow him to the vets office. Imagine that! A police escort, and I thought I was going to jail for stealing the dog. Now, Champion a year later (he's new name) is a healthy 12 pounder, and have five best friends to play with. Sorry for the rant.
Alvaro Quesada Dolly weighed only 3lbs when rescued. In the end she was a healthy 1.5kgs. How funny having a police escort to the vets. Police are generally dog people and do have a heart. Dogs make such a difference to our world.
Rescued chichis make the most grateful, loving companion imaginable... I’ve adopted they abused, abandoned babies n kept them spoiled n happy til their death n I’ve never regretted doing it for a second... please open your heart n home to these dear souls. You’ll be so glad you did n rewarded with love so bountiful you will be amazed...
I have 2 Chihuahuas and I would not have it any other way!!! I want 10000 more!!! I LOVE THEM!!! They seep with me and love me so much....Thank you for your video....
I used to have two chihuahuas. I still have one that I just got. The other died at the age of 22. She lived very long and had three sets of litters. I really hope my puppy chihuahua will live long like her sister.
I have a Chihuahua called Princess. She’s very VERY attached to me (mostly) and my mom. I’m on a wheelchair so my dog is ALWAYS on the chair with me. Whenever we go out, she HAS to wear a dress. She rides either on my lap or on my footrest. When my mom says “Princess! You wanna dress up?” (In Spanish) She runs toward my mom so she would dress her up. I cry when she’s sick or in pain. And when we come back from our errands, Princess runs towards the door, and when I enter my house, she’s jumping around, going CRAZY. Whenever I cry, or I’m in pain, she will lick my tears and lay down next to me. I also have a cat called Henry. Princess and Henry love each other. They play, and fight sometimes. Also, Princess bites him in the neck and drags him around the house. XD. I love my pets unconditionally and if you’re thinking about getting a Chihuahua, you should. They’re the sweetest little things. (Plus, my dog doesn’t even BITE!) And this written by a kid. :3
Lol- relatable. When taking a nap she *pushes and kicks me* til I stop cuddling her. Only when she decides she wants some cuddles then I can gently hug her. So weird but you gotta love em 👁👄👁
Mine gots bunnies- jumps on the chairs then table and eats our leftovers we didnt clear from the table. Keep in mind she has a slight mobility disorder (duck feet), was the runt, is the size of a human baby, (when little you could cup her in you hands and she would barely not fit.) and weighs about 6 pounds. Such a crackhead.
My chihuahua definitely prefers to be around other Chihuahuas, i didn't know that was a trait of theirs. I always joked that she was prejudice against other breeds lmao.
2 Chihuahuas I have had, Ginger lived to be 20, Sugar (Ginger's very last puppy) lived to the age of 19. Both died in my arms, exactly where they both wanted to be. Ironically, both died on the day before Thanksgiving (In different years.) I still miss both of them. I Now have 2, Marcy (9 years old) and Teeny( A 4 month old Chiweenie) Both are a joy.
My little baby Leela is a chihuahua/min pin mix. I have never in my life met a dog as affectionate and loyal as her. She's so talkative and constantly flops around begging to be petted. The look in her eyes is just pure and unconditional love 😭 like many other commenters, I initially was wary of getting a chihuahua due to their reputation of being mean and aggressive dogs. I quickly learned what a crock of shit that was when my dog immediately became the sweetest little angel. I absolutely cannot imagine ever losing her. I'm going to be absolutely devastated when she passes away 😭
Kim Brady you call them brave, I call them stupid. They usually jump off high surface because are unaware of danger, their size and lack survival instinct. Consecuences of selective breeding of course. Breeding races of dog is cruel unless the seeked traits are good health and long life, but usually selective breeding puts cuteness and quirkyness above all of that
I've had my male since 2007. Still strong. He's been a part of my grandchildren, and my own child, lives as they're growing up. He is the only dog that any of them have known. He's truly a member of the family. He chose my wife over me, but he treats me well as the second fiddle!
A year ago I lost my 16yo chocolate long hair dancing squirrel. life was joyful when she danced each time she saw me. I've been blue with her gone. Maybe time to look for a new neurotic buddy.
Years ago, we had five Chihuahuas. When there was someone at the door, they would go crazy. Lordy!! It sounded like a lion was on the other side!! Our house was never broken into during this time. I miss them....🥰💔
Two main Chihuahua breeds. Deerhead and applehead. 3 traditional colors. Cinnamon, fawn, white. Most other variations are from breeding by Americans starting in Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. Most people think of the applehead Chihuahua. The deerhead Chihuahua is taller with a more pointed head and thicker cartlidge in the ears like a herding breed. Deerheads have a very strong prey drive and love to work and play. They are also not as moody and more social with others.
Suffering... cuteness... overload... AAAAHHH! My Lilly isn't afraid of anything except my mom's cats. Defiantly brave. I'm glad to hear she could live for so long, she's only 4.
I so glad to learn that my long-haired chihuahua could live a long time because I love my pet so much, She is absolutely the sweetest, funniest, most ferocious (when she has to be), and most loyal friend I have.
Me and my partner took on a chihuahua from a disabled friend who can no longer have him, it wasn’t our first choice of dog breed as I have always been a shep lover, but now we cannot imagine our lives without our boy, he’s 5 and is the most fun dog I’ve ever met and is also the most caring, I did look down on the breed but he opened my eyes, chihuahuas are amazing breeds!
Mine was very friendly to everyone at the park 🙂... his name was Happy 🙂.. also there was other people with their chihuahuas and they we’re always amazed to see such a friendly puppy 😄 such a proud mom I was
Cassandra Mitch ,its funny I use to hate them but then my landlord has me watching hers n now we just had a litter 2 days ago and I'm so in love with her and the 4 puppies ,so glad I have them now ,coolest breed ever
My favorite breed 😊♥️. I’ve rescued these awesome dogs since 2016, unfortunately people will not stop breeding them so many are found in kill shelters across the US. The #2 breed murdered in kill shelters 😪. They have a lot of little quirks! Potential Chi parents owe them to find out all they can to decide if this is the dog for them. Personally, I love all their little quirks! They just add to their awesome personality!
I absolutely love my chichi paris she is my mini me ❤️❤️❤️she has helped me thru all of my hard times….divorce, sons addiction and other sons health issues if it weren’t for paris I don’t know if I’d be here she is better than any therapist!! And I have a Pomeranian cara she is so loving so sweet she makes me laugh when I’m sad 😞 I love my girls❤️❤️❤️
I rescued one 2 year's ago, I am 66 and never had one, I had to do my homework, she is the sweetest, smart and protective, super jealous, she is stupid smart if that makes sense, it's all about her and sometimes doesn't think smart but I know she is! What a blessing she is ❤
Had two till they died at 14. Got them babies when they were little babies. Best little men I could ask for. Made me have a soft spot for chihuahuas. I ended up getting a tattoo for them ❤️
I have had two chihuahuas. Both mixed breed and both rescues. My first chihuahua died of cancer after 8 years. I thought that since the breed is supposed to live more than 15 years and since mine was mixed breed - than Maximus would live much longer. We did dog chemo for a year and then, I had to ‘ pick a day ‘. My heart still hurts. Anyway, my new chihuahua Papi, aged 8 is strong and healthy, so far. I do want to dispel a myth about the breed. They don’t naturally tremble. I’m a senior who lives alone, no small kids running around and no banging music or loud tv. Neither of my chihuahuas trembled past day one because I speak quietly to them.
Peggy Sparkman omg u have a German Shepard I always wanted one I said if I can have any present and I wouldn't have another present for three years I would have a German Shepard and they said no 😟😟😟😟😖 😿
Maya Islas, I don't know how old you are, but having a dog is a lot of responsibility. Not saying you're not responsible. They have to be taken outside three or four times per day to do their business. Unless the dog is going to live outside. They require a trip to the vet at least once per year for their checkup, and that means 💰. Also, dog food and water needs to be readily available to them. Grooming if they require it. Baths once a week, and the list goes on and on. They need to be supervised when they're puppies big time otherwise they can wreck havoc in the house. Hope this helps. 🐕 🐕
Maya Islas in my opinion they are the best dogs! Well behaved full of love. They need a big yard to run are very protective and very intelligent! The only downfall I can say is they shed alot. It is because German Shepherds have a double coat. So lots of brushing!!! He weighs over 100 pounds and my Chihuahua weighs about 12.

Mr Valenzuela 😢 r.i.p. to my Chihuahua pa-pa. I feel ya. My condolences
R.I.P to my chihuahua too she got hit by a car in age 1
@@rosemitchell5248 I'm so sorry for your loss, Its awful to lose one. They r incredibly special❤❤❤❤

so so true
They look like demonic skinned mutant rats
Only people that have had chihuahuas know how sweet, funny, adorable and clumsy they are. I love my two small bby’s.
I had a chihuahua that would walk around on two legs.
Yep and they both have drastically different personalities
Well my girlfriend has one and altough he's loveable, he's also fucking annoying. Barks endlessly at people, charge people, agressive around food and bones, pee and poop inside all the time... Ah yes, and he snaps! So lovely 😒
Absolutely!
I think I will indulge myself and find one to adore and spoil and fill my life with ❤️
My wife and I have three chihuahuas, and I dread the day one of them passes. They do fill a part of your life, in a great way.
How did you dog poo pass
My chihuahua of 13 years recently passed away also in her sleep. I miss her so much 🤍
Both of mine were rescues and they came housebroken, adorable, knew how to use doggie door.
I'm sorry for your loss. I dread the day my dog dies. Shes a mini schnauzer chihuahua mix
Gysele van Santen-Tomlinson I feel your pain. My Lola passed away seven months ago, and I still cry at her loss. So devastating.
Gysele van Santen-Tomlinson, there's a website that you might be interested in. Someone told me about it when I lost my Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix in Aug 2015. Support and understanding is what you need right now. I'll let you see for yourself.

Alvaro Quesada Thank you so much. God bless you too!
I have one they are the best. Enjoy your chi 😁
My sophie delilah is 3 years old and full of attitude!
My chihuahua is also a licensed companion dog and he hates it when i play my Paul Anka CD$. He will bark and growl and smack me until i stip.

[Narrator] The chihuahua is one of the bravest dog breeds
[My chihuahua] **Growls at bulldog 5x his size**
[Me] Okay.
lol
behind a fence or window they the most bravest until they are face to face with what they bark at then they run 😂
Otherwise known as “little dog syndrome” (They think they are a BIG BAD DOG!) 😂😂😂
I have 3, Pixie, Jax, & their baby boy, Bubby.
Lmao my pup today squealed at a shnauzer and tried running up the side of a pathway in a trail... guard dog my ass

@@thencis56 Haha when she's done defending the fort against troublesome plastic bags she looks all proud of herself. She's eyeballing some crows right now :D
@@teelesynclair5902 how does your dog react to moles ? Mine try too play with them
@@thencis56 We've not come across any moles.

For those whom have never owned a chihuahua, please take note they can live a long time ! Every year I see people at flea markets selling these dogs around tax season and before the year is out you see them on craglist for free. These dog's are lovely and full of there own character but know they can be a life time commitment. Please be willing to love these guys forever before getting one.
they get such bad raps.... everyone who meet my two boys say "i hated chis til i met yours"
Wow, it broke my heart to read what you said about flee markets. 💔
This will be the best commitment you will ever make. They are wonderful companions

It's so funny seeing a masculine, gruffy man holding a tiny dog in his lap all the time 😂
Fantastic story of a reluctant Chihuahua dad. Frankie has made your life even better.
Chihuahuas dont really beed alot of care because they dont really eat much and you dont need to take them on walks that is optional because they do their own exercise at home, my Chihuahua( Memphis ), she runs at the house LIKE CRAZY
And my Chihuahua does the same things your dog does
That's usually what happens. They work their way into your heart and then it's hopeless.
You're hooked for life.

Fact no 1: they will live under your covers.

RIP Zendayi

Denise Severa what kind of stroller? Do you strap the dog in?
The stroller was a gift from a relative ordered from Walmart. It has a bonnet that comes down & zips her in & it pretty much looks like a regular stroller only not so heavy duty & it's large enough for her little friend to go for a stroll as well. Look online that's what we did. I don't have to strap her in as its not a seat inside the stroller, it's flat like a bed with a cushion so she sits or lays down.

The chihuahuas be looking cute in the winter with their lil sweaters. 🤗

I disliked Chihuahuas until my father gifted one to my children. That one died after 10 years and now we have two other Chihuahuas. They are like chips, you can't have just one!
Honestly tho

I love my chihuahua so much. Corky. He’ll be 7 November 4th. He loves me so much. He barks like a crazy person when someone rings my bell.
Rainbow Bridge on the 15 in San Diego? 😮
I love my little Gizmo. Hes the runt of his litter and only 4 lbs. He is my world. Very spoiled

I have 2 Chihuahuas and I would not have it any other way!!! I want 10000 more!!! I LOVE THEM!!! They seep with me and love me so much....Thank you for your video....
Jay Schwartz I sleep with my chihuahua to
I used to have two chihuahuas. I still have one that I just got. The other died at the age of 22. She lived very long and had three sets of litters. I really hope my puppy chihuahua will live long like her sister.
22yrs ....WOW
This comment section is the most positive one on this whole platform ♥️
Nika Čalpa on the web I think! 👍🏻💜
Nope
Shrek has that award
That’s why I hate it because chihuahuas SUCK
Well im here to ruin it:)
my chihuahuas name is princess too lol
Everyone in the comment: I can never live without my dog.
My dog: *Kicks me off the bed for room*
Lol- relatable. When taking a nap she *pushes and kicks me* til I stop cuddling her. Only when she decides she wants some cuddles then I can gently hug her. So weird but you gotta love em 👁👄👁
Chihauhaus are very intelligent, my dog gets lost in the middle of my living room!
Maybe he's just playing. If you have another one, he might be playing with it.
😂😂😂
Cooper Scroggin lmao
😷😂😭🙊🙉🙊🙉🙈💀👀 Shoot, mine has to have the air, wind and grass all be in sync to pottie! 😳🕵🙄 Annoying!😌
Had Chis for 30 years...our oldest was just a few weeks from 19 years old.
Had to put our sweet 16 yr old chi to sleep 2 weeks ago. I miss her so. Love ❤️ watching your video. Thank you
He protecc
He attacc
But most importantly
He eats pizza behind ur bacc
Mine ate my spaghetti i miss him r.i.p peanut.
My chi steals my pizza a lot
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Omg just the other day man 😭😭I love my rylo
Thank you for an excellent video! I have had Chihuahuas all my life and hope to have one until the end of it!
Get a labrabull. far better and nromal dogs then lil rat demon monsters!!!
I had my little reesie for 12 years. When he died so did my heart. He was by my side day and night. I miss him so much.
I've always had chihuahuas. They are indeed the most wonderful, loveable, loyal, bravest, smartest dogs ever.
Kim Brady true
Kim Brady you call them brave, I call them stupid. They usually jump off high surface because are unaware of danger, their size and lack survival instinct. Consecuences of selective breeding of course. Breeding races of dog is cruel unless the seeked traits are good health and long life, but usually selective breeding puts cuteness and quirkyness above all of that
Most beautiful and loveable dogs in the world. I have one, she is very smart and loveable.
I have a chihuahua, Tommy, who is super lovable!! Best thing about a chihuahua is they always stay puppy-sized.
You know you've walked your chiuauas enough When You get dinner and she lays there asleep 😥
Lol mine doesn’t get walked she runs around the house enough lol
Same, I walk both mine and they fall right asleep.
Paige 1996 I’m pretty sure that in my country that would be animal abuse.
@@Christian-cb9jr she wasn't being literal im sure she walks them lol
WhyAreYouReadingThis SeriouslyStopReadingThis I hope so
i love my bubs. hes 15 and the loml... don't know what my life would be like without him
Thank you for this great information!! My baby is nine years old, so much love she gives me these dogs will be a blessing to you!!!
So sorry, you need another little friend
I love my chihuahua more than anything ❤️
Years ago, we had five Chihuahuas. When there was someone at the door, they would go crazy. Lordy!! It sounded like a lion was on the other side!! Our house was never broken into during this time. I miss them....🥰💔
My beloved chihuahua passed away this morning she will forever be missed and she lived a really long good life I will miss her dearly Rip Bolita
Love my Baby
She is sixteen and in great health
Couldn’t imagine my life without her.
My little baby boy is the light of my life. If I could take him to work with me, I would. He's just a tiny little angel.
Mine was very friendly to everyone at the park 🙂... his name was Happy 🙂.. also there was other people with their chihuahuas and they we’re always amazed to see such a friendly puppy 😄 such a proud mom I was
I love all dog breeds, but Chihuahuas are my favorite. I used to have a Chihuahua, she died in 1991. I miss her.
Cassandra Mitch ,its funny I use to hate them but then my landlord has me watching hers n now we just had a litter 2 days ago and I'm so in love with her and the 4 puppies ,so glad I have them now ,coolest breed ever
I just acquired my beautiful Mya Chi and she is adorable.
BEVELHlLLs.

I want a mini, I heard they playful and super sweet
I rescued one 2 year's ago, I am 66 and never had one, I had to do my homework, she is the sweetest, smart and protective, super jealous, she is stupid smart if that makes sense, it's all about her and sometimes doesn't think smart but I know she is! What a blessing she is ❤
Once you attach to an animal soul, it attaches and goes to heaven with you. Feels good hearing that from the spiritual studies.
Had two till they died at 14. Got them babies when they were little babies. Best little men I could ask for. Made me have a soft spot for chihuahuas. I ended up getting a tattoo for them ❤️
I had a German Sheppard and a St.Bernard. I know have two Chihuahuas; love them all more than anything. They make me laugh daily!
My Chihuahua is best friends with my German Shepherd
My chihuahuas big cousin is a German shepherd. She loves her to bits.
Peggy Sparkman my chi LOVES my bestfriends shepherd
Had my longhaird chihuahua 7 years now best dog ive had shes such a sweetheart everyone loves her
