When they said they don't walk her because " it's such a chore" and "she's not a man's dog" I rolled my eyes. However this couple seem really lovely and love Alison and actually listen to Victoria and take on her advice. I wish more owners were like them
Those two do not deserve a hamster. They are both morons. The man thinks he needs to walk a werewolf to be man and the imbecile lady thinks dogs are for when she is bored.
I've had ten dogs in my life, I have three of them now and I have never walked a single one. Never had problems, they love people, they are not stressed......the only thing is that I do have quite a big back yard and I let them out, but they don't like being outside, they just go out, do their business and bark to get in.
I’m glad that my… somewhat tiny dog enjoys it. I love snuggling with him, and whenever I put him down he’ll immediately try and get me to pick him up and love on him again lol.
Yeah. I’m stressed to go outside with my chihuahua. I have social anxiety and people just can’t leave us alone!!!! Everyone has to comment on how cute he is, has to ask his name or age. Why does it matter? I just wanna be left alone and my dog too. He is super friendly but he doesn’t care for strangers, he just won’t even acknowledge them. That’s how much he’s tired of this constant attempts to pet him.
I have learned to advocate for my chihuahua mix, he’s the sweetest boy just needs people to understand he doesn’t want everyone he meets to be all up in his face
Victoria's stellar skills shone even more brightly in this episode. That bark could shatter glass, but she's just a wee little thing and so scared. And every dog deserves to be walked - isn't that one of the best things about having a dog? I remember finally getting my first dog at age 46, and taking her for our first walk. It was the best.
What does it mean “I don’t walk her every day because that would feel like a chore” WHAT? I walk my chihuahua at least 30 minutes a day. Sometimes he doesn’t wanna walk or it’s a bad weather. It is a chore but I also walk myself so it’s nice that my dog makes me go outside 😄 It’s also a chore to wash my dog, feed him, play with him a lot, etc. and I do all that because I love him.

back in the late 90s i rescued a 10 year old male that had never been socialized at all. He hid in the closrt the first two years i had him, not even coming out to eat. so for 2 yeats i got in the closet with him, talking and soothing him. He became my best buddy thereafter until he passed at 20 years old. It takes time and patience to gain the trust of a dog like that.
Victoria makes this look so easy! And lots of people underestimate a small dog, but at the same time, I see so many people with BIG dogs and so few dog walkers.
I definitely don't blame tiny dogs for being nervous or fearful. Imagine being that small and surrounded by giant individuals that could so easily stomp you or just pick you up, and anything you do about it, even the hardest of bites or snarls can be dismissed as "cute". Our chihuahua loved nestling under pillows and blankets, probably to burrow and feel safe.
That is not the reason why so many small dogs are nervous and fearful. Dogs don't even know 'size' and they don't have thoughts like 'oh no they might step on me'.

As for them being dog parents, well, they got some work to do.
Help please my 10 mo girl barks at anyone she knows everything
Don't be afraid of having her lick you, it's his way of showing affection! Now she's able to trust you!
My chihuahua is not like that, put in the training. Size was never an issue! I treat it just like my terrier and German Shepherd. I’m not above correcting behaviors that are undesirable! Set your boundaries and teach them what you accept and don’t. Cute doesn’t get you privileges. We go on runs daily. 4-7 miles.
Peter could pick me up whenever he wants😅 what a hottie😍
😂
He looks a guy that does that boxer short ads hahaha gorgeous man!
0:56 yeah dogs can't recognize themselves in a mirror, of course she'll bark at what she thinks is another dog.
My girl was also same during her last days
If you are struggling with a little dog, please don’t ever have children. You need to have a bit of sensitivity and intuition.
That guy looks like zac efron
Alison definitely chose Peter as her person over the girlfriend and you can tell that bothers the girlfriend 😂
Wonderful couple ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@laurenschenck5 - Really?? They’ve obviously not been very attentive to her. Putting her alone in a room to do chores?? Not walking her???
How?!
He Loves this dog. Have you ever loved a dog? It's like a family member. You will need to love the too.
If this little dog were a big dog would you stick your hand in its face? No, not unless you wanted it bit off. Slowly forge a relationship with her. Feed her. Don't try so hard. You aren't going to get this dog to love you in a short amount of time. Don't lock the dog in the bedroom. Don't interrupt his time with the dog. The dog looks scared to me. You have to respect the pup and the pup will respect you.
I have a chihuahua
What's it's name. Boi or girl
How on earth do combine pounds and centimetres 😂
I have balinese local dog super smar dog but if shes stay at home whole day she will get suppers stress. But when i takecher our she s so happy cos she love to go put and enjoy the mama nsture and meet another dogs
So if you have dogs and put them ins8de house 24 hours they stress out
OMG, a chore to walk your dog...it should be a pleasure to take her out to meet other people and dogs! Actually, she picks up on that feeling of remorse, the idea of taking her out! I'm going to say something here, a chihuahua is not a right fit for this couple, maybe a cat! These two are definitely cat people! Get used to taking them out 5-6 times a day, morning, noon, and night!
Yvonne needs training on how to be decent and show kindness
Same here
Hey 😊
Bribe them with food works with me
Shame on both of them!!
Peter, you are NOT that manly! This couple should give Alison to someone who would truly love and cherish her!
Poor dog, the owners seems to be strange people😢
I wouldn’t like that couple either, especially the woman.
Dogs can sense nastiness in a person so maybe allison knows more about yvonne then we know lol
@@beckyj7600 well Allison is right.
Sweetie pie 🤗😻🐾💜💜💜
She is!!
