@@abeloviedo7200 considering he had a sister outside the game and had already killed for her before entering v3, I doubt he was much different outside the game. That's just an opinion though.
@@uroczytofu well, all we know is that kaede kaito and shuichi are the opposite of what the are, by that rule everyone else is the same, so if kiyo v3 is a crazy inscestuous killer, that means outside he is a lonely person who didnt murder anyone and he just want some love, that could be a possibility too, Unless they make an official announcement, we don't know and anything could be possible.
@@abeloviedo7200 I doubt kaede is the opposite of her personality in v3, I also wouldn't say Kaito is entirely the opposite either. Besides, the memories they received at the beginning were altered, which means not every character needs to be the opposite but slightly altered to match the energy of the killing game. Kiyo might've been the same amount of crazy before V3 but the memories he got might've enabled his crazy behaviour more, leading him to kill in v3 while he might've not had the nutz to kill before- doesn't mean he was any less insane before the killing game, just less able to kill, probably. Ryoma was depressed as a convict before V3 but he didn't change during V3 at all, he stayed the same through his entire time in the cast. He just had a bigger outlet to isolate himself and make his depression worse. It's like that. Kiyo might've still been psychotic but less able to act on his urges in pregame.
My headcanon for korekiyo, since I remember cheering at his execution, is that he was very lonely and depressed and was going to end it all. But he knew he wanted to go out making someone happy to see him at least once in his life. So he auditioned and asked to be made into the most inexcusable, irredeemable serial killer with disgusting motivation. That way, the world will unite and cheer watching him perish, and he'll go out putting a smile on someone's face for the first and only time in his life.
Hmm Im not actually sure but i did remember reading one of the danganronpa manga maybe a doujin about Kokichi's past. Instead of being manipulative, he himself is being manipulated by his classmates. He didnt sign up for Danganronpa auditions either, it was his friend who did it. And once he was being interviewed, he didnt know "he" selected as being the supreme leader. He then had to lie his way thru to make it look believable. And somehow he also thought about how twisted the world is. And at the end of the manga was the scene where he vents out to Kaito about wanting to win this sick game, hinting he still remembered much memories about his pre game life Side fun facts: 1) He saw pre game gonta and he was thinking about how these muscles could kill someone 2)After the interview, Kokichi saw pre game Shuichi swearing and lashing out with anger on a phone call when he thought he screwed up with his interview about being the detective All these im still unsure as it was a long time ago
The story is on AO3, called _Liars Dance._ It’s a bit of a song-fic, and it’s not my best work because I was still getting into writing. Not a headcanon but an idea I had two years ago that I turned into a short story: at night, Maki and Kokichi would hang out because they weren’t supposed to “interact,” so the “scripting” was gone. But during the day, they went back to being enemies.
The problem this "I have no faith in humanity" Kind of like a translation error, just like Shuichi said "You're alone, Kokichi" kind of in Japanese it's all in a softer tone.
I don't think it's a translation error as they did it on purpose after all and honestly the two sentences turned out better than the original Japanese ones
My headcanon was that Kiibo was a guy who auditioned but died after the men in black took him either via car accident or the guys used lethal force. So team Danganronpa decided to base their robot on who we now know as Kiibo
Remember that in the prologue, they vaguely remembered being kidnapped and didn't know where they were? The first flashback light was then used to give them Ultimate Talents. Plus, Tsumugi's claims and "proof" that they were auditioned and were happy to be selected contradicts their reactions in the gym before the first flashback light.
I think the audition tapes were fake. Because I saw this video that we can go into Tsumugi’s room and there is a floor board that looks like the exact one in the tapes. It was a long time ago but I still remember watching that video
Rantaro: Abusive big brother to his sisters. Korekiyo: Incredibly sweet big brother to his child sister. Tenko: Boy crazy or a slut. Kaito: Psychopath who sees Danganronpa as his way to finally kill someone without consequence. Miu: Traumatized SA Victim who thought winning In Danganronpa could show how powerful and untouchable she is. Imagine Rantaro and Korekiyo's sisters seeing what Danganronpa turned them into.
We can't know for certain if Rantaro's and Korekiyo's sisters are real in the first place, since their pasts could've potentially been fabricated by the Danganronpa team to serve as their motives.
a hc I have for pregame Gonta; although he doesn't mind Danganronpa as the show itself (he's neutral on it, like he would sometimes watch an episode if it came on the tv), he absolutely despises obsessed fans who make a show their whole personality, especially Dr fans as Danganronpa was the most famous media at the time. After someone close to him became addicted to the show and died as a victim in one of the previous seasons, Gonta felt betrayed by them in a way, and decided to get into V3 to kill all the Dr fans who got so brainwashed by the show to put their lives on the line for it, and return to his old life after getting away with murder. (unlike chapter 6 Shuichi, he didn't think about eradicating the problem from its roots, he was just angry at the fans). He was a Biology student, and he decided to be the ultimate entomologist just because it was the only scientist talent that was never used in all of the previous seasons (the tenses are probably all wrong but it's too late for me to do grammar rn)
I think the reason they made the ingame characteristic the opposite of who they are in pregame version to give them despair, I mean pregame Shuichi said he would commit the most gruesome murders but never did in the game, and instead became a survivor and a justice seeker. That would give him immense despair if he saw how different the things he wanted to be in drv3 from how his character in the game is like. Just like the rest of the characters. I also have a headcanon that Maki and Kokichi were friends and the game made their relationship the opposite so that they would feel despair. I mean that's the point of the game.
I love this pregame idea Also I feel it is better than an idea I saw online But as that was a piece using Heartcatch and then making it… well I don’t really want to describe it, but connecting Erika Kirumi/Cure Marine(who is kinda a gremlin) and Kokichi together did make sense
Nice theories. I agree with most of them, but I would add and change something: Add for Korekiyo that he was sick/had an illness (therefore he wears a covid-19-like mask at the beginning in his school wear) and was mostly in hospital, therefore he was very lonely and wanted to make (100?) friends. Change the Kokichi and Kaito were friends to enemies and it would be more believeable that Kaito was a bully and Kokichi the victim (Kokichi at the beginning in his school wear seemed the shy/timid type, so I think he was bullied a lot). I think that Kokichi and Maki were friends before V3 and that Maki protected him from the bullies. Kokichi admires/look up to Maki and wanted to be as strong like her, therefore he mimicked her (he and Maki shares the same character sprite "biting her/his thumb" when they are stressed in V3). That would be more tragic and logical to me and are my theories about them. ^^
About Angie. My headcanon is that, perhaps, she was not atheist(or nihilist) but rather depressed person with nothing to believe in, wich is why she wanted to never feel sad and be optimistic. It explains her lack of negative emotions
Sure they all like danganronpa, but saihara *likes* danganronpa to the point he comes off as weirdly sexual about wanting to see people die, to me. He’d definitely get bullied for it if why i think he’s blushing in that tape is true and people knew about it Also just seems like an easy target. Kaede practically bullies him during their prologue introduction and he takes it, so yeah.
even though i've never been interested in the Pregame, this portrayal of it is very creative, and makes a lot of sense. however, it's so weird to think how these characters turned out in the end. some are almost complete opposites from who they used to be.
its crazy to think that a couple of memories took can overall change a person for ex shuichi who was a person with motivations and ambitions to save people was an absolute shut in loser who was a fan ass nga😭
So I spent time replaying the beginning and trying to figure stuff out. It seems, unless memory alterations had already occurred, that Tsumugi was full of sh*t, and was cosplaying as them in those clips (notice the backgrounds match the sets in her room). At the beginning, before their 'talent', they still had the same names, and largely the same personalities. They also seemed to somewhat know what they were in, and we're not happy about it (Kaede and Shuichi have memories of being kidnapped, and after they see the Monokubs, the attitude in the room is not one of positivity.
Why did this remind me of that create an alternative Ego that uses your flaws as their strength and All of v3 being altered version of their pregame is actually something that’s makes sense based of their interviews
I have this personal theory that Gonta was a very formal, honor student, well mannered gentleman. His parents, however, were entomologists, and they worked outside in nature with bugs, something Gonta couldn’t stand. However, he felt like he was letting his parents down, and he wanted to be closer to them, so he entered the KG as an naive entomologist who loved nature, like his parents. However, Tsumugi added in the little detail that he wanted to be a gentleman, like how he was pre-KG. That way, even though he switched, he still wouldn’t be satisfied, and would always be longing to change in a never ending pattern. I thought that was pretty despair inducing.
I see most hc are based on what the person wants, I don’t think necessarily they would always get what they wanted. As we see in Kaede and Kaito they got characters they probably didn’t want, people with completely different personalities to them. Also from my experience with casting it’s often a person doesn’t get who they want in the end
Lack of faith in humanity is usually caused by being hurt by humanity. I suspect Kaede would've been kind in childhood, but over time she was bullied and ostracized much like I was. Losing her faith in humanity and wanting to watch it burn for revenge
Here's my personal headcanons: Rantaro: A narcissist who believes he will always survive. That's why he does the killing game twice, to prove he is better than everyone. Kaede: A girl who was bullied throughout her life and had an abusive family. As a result, it reduced her faith in humanity. She had reached such a low that she'd be willing to sacrifice her life for entertainment, because she believed it didn't matter anyway. Ryoma: Yeah bro was prolly depressed lol Kirumi: Always aspired to help people. Specifically, she wanted to work in a nursing home. However, she was always turned down due to prejudice. She joined V3 because she felt like it would be her only way to fulfill her purpose. Angie: Yeah what the video said Tenko: S3GGSually abused by a family member in her life. She joined V3 to spread the message to stay safe from vile men. Korekiyo: no headcanon for him tbh, weird mf Miu: Bullied all her life for being "ugly" and "stupid." Miu was born with many learning disorders and not the best appearance. However, even though she knew she wasn't intellectually capable, she wanted to become an inventor. She joined V3 to achieve these dreams. Gonta: I never had a headcanon for him but omg the one in the video is so hilarious LMAOOO Kokichi: Kokichi was pretty unimportant in his life. His parents never really paid any mind to him, so he practically took care of himself. He never had any friends or talked to anyone. He joined V3 in hopes of being noticed by anyone, even if it meant in a notorious way. Kaito: Kaito was born with some form of psychosis. Even though his grandparents did the best they could to take care of him, he always had a desire to see the world burn. That's why he joined V3, in hopes of killing as many people as possible. KIIBO: A french traveler who just reached Japan. However, due to currency differences, he became massively poor. However, he was always into robotics. He joined V3 in hopes of raising money to fund the robotics he wanted to create. Tsumugi: A girl who wanted to change the world for the better. However, she failed after a numerous amount of attempts. She also began to see the many flaws in humanity. This reduced her faith similar to Kaede, and decided to devote her life to destroying humanity instead. Himiko: A girl who was bullied for believing in santa and the tooth fairy at ages like 15 and 16. She always wanted to believe magic was real because it gave her some form of hope. She joined V3 in order to prove that magical things do exist. Shuichi: what the video said lol Maki: A weak girl who hated everyone. She always wanted to commit a crime, but knew she was too weak to do so. She joined V3 in hopes of getting stronger and being able to enact her plans.
From what I think, ryoma probably is the only one who didn’t have the intention of becoming someone else/ wanting the world to suffer for joining daganronpa. He didn’t want to become someone else and he just wanted to not exist anymore because he believed the world would be better off without him
Fun fact: the part about Kade saying that she doesn't have any faith in humanity was actually a mistranslation from the Japanese script, instead she says that she just has trouble trusting others.
My personal head canon for all of this is that all “ultimate real-fiction” Danganronpa killing games were simulations. Like Danganronpa 2, however, the reason that the show was never cancelled or anything is because everyone who died didn’t actually die, their characters died, but they’re pregame bodies and memories are still alive. So in a way, nobody ever died. But it’s still cruel because they are basically erasing the memories of obsessed weebs and then making them think that they are dying, and then letting them free afterwards. Maybe they just wake up or something, like the headset is took off, and they are back to normal. I also like how the characters are based on what they ask for in the interview, and it seems that they all willingly chose to have these things to happen, so I would consider it to be more like a self induced game show where everyone agrees to join, only to fit a fictional story that they are all obsessed with.
I think Keebo wasn't normal, as before the killing game you can see a human Keebo with all the other characters, implying that at one point he was a human and had signed up for the killing game too and his Robot form was based on him as a person.
There is a severe plothole in the prologue mainly how each character acts for example pregame kaede acts nothing like her pregame message says plus it is very weird that literally everyone seems confused and panicked especially from seeing the monokubs and the like and considering they literally hear about hopes peak and ultimates and such naturally everyone if they were willing participants would have been willingly taken by team danganronpa right? considering they would have to sign some kind of consent form most likely and since again they were all seemingly kidnapped by the conveniently grey and naked kidnappers it all seems to convenient oh and by the way i'm not criticising your headcanons i'm just sharing my own thoughts
I think it's because the monokubs *removed* their memories, but forgot to implement them. Since a huge chunk of their memories are removed, they just act like extremely typical people instead of their eccentric personalities since memory connects to personality heavily. Hopefully that makes sense 💀 that's what I assume tho
@@jaslikeart its still a plothole as there would be no reason for the monokubs to remove the pregame students memories only their ingame selves memories seeing as how in the actual V3 timeline danganronpa is apparently super famous it isn't too far fetched that team danganronpa would take a more non illegal approach to fetching participants and again there would be no point to removing the pregame students memories they already volunteered to be in V3 so it just is a major issue that makes even less sense then the fact that in both danganronpa 1 and 2 the students couldn't believe the twist even though the two toned uphupu bear being literally right next to them all
That’s pretty much the point. It’s left up for grabs if the recounts of kidnappings the prologue cast gave for why they were in the school or if the scenario in the tapes were true since both seem possible enough. Schrodingers monokuma. I guess It could also just be a combination that they sighed up, had their memories wiped, given false ones with the same personalities, then anime-ifed. For audience entertainment
@@georgiepig5726 the point of the memory wipe is to ensure the characters aren't aware it's something they signed up for, and to make the game appear 'fictional' to the audience. If the characters were aware that they signed up and volunteered for the killing game, it wouldn't be appealing to the audience anymore, since they wouldn't have that desperation/powerful motive to kill, making the game lose its spark.
This was neat to watch and I can see most of them but personally for Kaede I believe she was a good person who was a bit of an outcast with a pessimistic point of view. Maybe she grew pessimistic due to pressure placed on her concerning her piano lessons, which she struggled with. As for Gonta i feel he was definitely rough around the edges with a temper but i can't see him as an jerk, maybe rude but means well. I can get behind him thinking his strength will lead to victory though.
I've been hearing stuff about dr v3 for a while, and i've been watching a crap ton of dr v3 videos after finishing the series today, and only now i realized that "pregame" is not pronounced "preg aame", and it means pre-game 😭
I headcanon that Danganronpa 52 actually had two survivors, Rantaro and Tsumugi. As the “winners” of their game, one was forced to go through the next one as a regular participant and the other was brainwashed into believing that they were part of the DR team and acting as the mastermind. If V3 had gone according to plan and had two survivors, they would have done the same. Maybe Shuichi would have been the next mastermind and unknowingly lived his dream, and Maki or Himiko being the new ultimate survivor?
Love these ideas, but wasn't Kaito's illness given to him specifically for V3? Pretty Sure Tsumugi said something along those lines atin the last trial. But even then I love the idea of Kaito and Kokichi being friends(my personal HC is that Kaito was Kokichi's bully before V3) and the rest of these HCs are absolutely wonderful
For me cannon lines are suggestions. Honestly tho, I remember jack-shit from V3 you could tell me that there's a scene where Nagito comes back and eats shuichis ahoge and I would believe you, so Tsumugi probably did say that but I simply exploited from my memory because "cool idea is cool". I see the headcannon that Kaito was a bully and Kokichi was his victim a lot too and I think it's cool as shit. But I read too many pre-game Saiouma comics where that's part of the premise and is scares me now. That doesn't change the fact that it's also a cool lil idea
@@kitcat7645 that's the beauty of HCs because there's so much room for interpretation with shit like that. Really fun ideas can come from other people's perspectives of the source material that you don't consider due to your own. And now I am aware of the idea of pregame saioma comics so I'm off to do research for science

Kaede wasn’t really a horrible person, she just didn’t trust anyone and joined the game most likely to feel some form of human connection or she just didn’t see any point in staying alive much longer
in my opinion they didnt join by will. because at the beginning of drv3 we can see a cutscene of kaede being shoved into a car, and waking up at the school.
Probably canon that the audition tapes were fake and their pregame self was made weird until their magical gril transformation they went back to their normal personality and tsumugi just lied about their personalities being changed for the full game
i imagine (Thu)Tsumugi with a rock song called "low budget horror" she worked as a DR Team emploee but then the team just forced her to went into a machine (that could look like a Virtual Boy machine looking) to use real people and transform them into DR Ultimates. of course, the process will be painful because the machine is giving too much to the brain that is gonna have a big colapse. becoming insane, or maybe lost the personality of who is the real himself, lost on the sea of fabricated data that DR Team gave her. making her, boring, throwing a lot of references. "AJ Yonaga, The Amazing Atheist" Hoshi is, tragic. 😢 and Maki, even if she gain money, you cannot return to once you were: a human. but, i think in one idea (and a cruel one), that DR Team uses orphan people to transform them into Danganronpa characters. and Maki, being a orphan, forced to become a DR character.
I think kirumi has actual chances of being a teen mom mainly escaping to DR kinda how she wanted the money to support her style. And im betting miu before DR was already famous and just wanted to escape her creepy fans.
My theories. Rantaro - he probably was a know-it-all. Which explains the memory loss. Kaede - no care for anyone and probably wanted to be the next junko. Shuichi - he was probably a fan that balanced between toxic and chill. Ryoma - he was picked on aka a target. Likely someone like in the tenko theory wanted to be strong. Kirumi - teen mom. She may have needed the money to support her life style. Angie - tame religious girl. She wasnt the 24 hour god obseessed girl. She may have been more calm when mentioning god or just hardly talked about it. Tenko - either harrassed. or hanged out with a lot of boys. I could see either working. Korkscrew - i think the lone child idea works. Or he wasnt socializing much. Miu - simp bait. She was probably harrassed by fans. Which could influence her acts. Gonta - emotional mess, jerk yet has a soft side or both. Gonta is normally pure in game. so him being emotionally unstable fits. Kokichi - not exactly top student but is a taka fan. Kaito - still determined. Yet an asshole. Tsumugi - bipolar Kiibo - poor sap who got randomly picked Maki - writer orphan. Himiko - nastolgia fan
Hmmm. I remember their talents became genuine in that school version game where there were no murders and whatnot where you enjoyed heartwarming stories. It was in the post game in this version right after you win?

That way, the world will unite and cheer watching him perish, and he'll go out putting a smile on someone's face for the first and only time in his life.
Dang… I feel pretty bad for korekiyo if this headcanon is true..
And at the end of the manga was the scene where he vents out to Kaito about wanting to win this sick game, hinting he still remembered much memories about his pre game life
Side fun facts:
1) He saw pre game gonta and he was thinking about how these muscles could kill someone
2)After the interview, Kokichi saw pre game Shuichi swearing and lashing out with anger on a phone call when he thought he screwed up with his interview about being the detective
All these im still unsure as it was a long time ago

@@remotobengu-u4528 It was a translation error, because if I remember, in the original Japanese script she said she have trust issues.
My headcanon was that Kiibo was a guy who auditioned but died after the men in black took him either via car accident or the guys used lethal force. So team Danganronpa decided to base their robot on who we now know as Kiibo
Oh man, that is creepy af
meh, I doubt they'd bother. Quicker and cheaper to just find someone else.
I love the idea for Keebo, like they just stole someone off the street because no one else signed up and made him into a fucking robot 💀
I have a theory that Tsumugi lied about the tapes to bring everyone into a greater despair@@lovablelillypup2499
He was a Biology student, and he decided to be the ultimate entomologist just because it was the only scientist talent that was never used in all of the previous seasons
(the tenses are probably all wrong but it's too late for me to do grammar rn)
I think the reason they made the ingame characteristic the opposite of who they are in pregame version to give them despair, I mean pregame Shuichi said he would commit the most gruesome murders but never did in the game, and instead became a survivor and a justice seeker. That would give him immense despair if he saw how different the things he wanted to be in drv3 from how his character in the game is like. Just like the rest of the characters. I also have a headcanon that Maki and Kokichi were friends and the game made their relationship the opposite so that they would feel despair. I mean that's the point of the game.
I love this pregame idea
Also I feel it is better than an idea I saw online
But as that was a piece using Heartcatch and then making it… well I don’t really want to describe it, but connecting Erika Kirumi/Cure Marine(who is kinda a gremlin) and Kokichi together did make sense

Nice theories. I agree with most of them, but I would add and change something:
Add for Korekiyo that he was sick/had an illness (therefore he wears a covid-19-like mask at the beginning in his school wear) and was mostly in hospital, therefore he was very lonely and wanted to make (100?) friends.
Himiko rlly gotta have some big mommy issues if she literally joined a KILLING GAME to escape it
About Angie. My headcanon is that, perhaps, she was not atheist(or nihilist) but rather depressed person with nothing to believe in, wich is why she wanted to never feel sad and be optimistic. It explains her lack of negative emotions
Makes sense
A headcanon for Tsumugi:Tsumugi just wanted attention.
*I’m not finishing that.*
That's what she said.
Wasn't it mentioned somewhere that the entire world loved Danganronpa in v3? I don't think shuichi would've gotten bullied for it.
Shuichi was probably an average person in that world
Sure they all like danganronpa, but saihara *likes* danganronpa to the point he comes off as weirdly sexual about wanting to see people die, to me. He’d definitely get bullied for it if why i think he’s blushing in that tape is true and people knew about it
Also just seems like an easy target. Kaede practically bullies him during their prologue introduction and he takes it, so yeah.
@@Stabbyhara that would make a lot of sense actually

@@ameliecarruthers3822 you know I’m right.
even though i've never been interested in the Pregame, this portrayal of it is very creative, and makes a lot of sense.

Fatherless Shuichi explains a *lot*
its crazy to think that a couple of memories took can overall change a person for ex shuichi who was a person with motivations and ambitions to save people was an absolute shut in loser who was a fan ass nga😭
Even tho it's a cruel killing game I'm happy for those characters who joined this game to strengthen their personality into a stronger one
Whoever that Mr. Morale person is, he sure has a lot of great theories!

after watching this keebo has officially became my fav character
Nice theory. Might be my personal head cannon now.
His father was The Collector 😳
I see most hc are based on what the person wants, I don’t think necessarily they would always get what they wanted. As we see in Kaede and Kaito they got characters they probably didn’t want, people with completely different personalities to them. Also from my experience with casting it’s often a person doesn’t get who they want in the end
1:03 never thought we had in common
Does anyone else's screen get really fuzzy at 2:19?
I do
Lack of faith in humanity is usually caused by being hurt by humanity. I suspect Kaede would've been kind in childhood, but over time she was bullied and ostracized much like I was. Losing her faith in humanity and wanting to watch it burn for revenge
Omg, out of all my headcanons it had to be my Miu headcanon that made it in the video XD but thank you for including me in this! I appreciate it!
Yes very cool and epic headcanon 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
Here's my personal headcanons:
Rantaro: A narcissist who believes he will always survive.
Ryoma: Yeah bro was prolly depressed lol
Kirumi: Always aspired to help people. Specifically, she wanted to work in a nursing home. However, she was always turned down due to prejudice. She joined V3 because she felt like it would be her only way to fulfill her purpose.
Angie: Yeah what the video said
Tenko: S3GGSually abused by a family member in her life. She joined V3 to spread the message to stay safe from vile men.
Korekiyo: no headcanon for him tbh, weird mf
Miu: Bullied all her life for being "ugly" and "stupid." Miu was born with many learning disorders and not the best appearance. However, even though she knew she wasn't intellectually capable, she wanted to become an inventor. She joined V3 to achieve these dreams.
Gonta: I never had a headcanon for him but omg the one in the video is so hilarious LMAOOO
Kokichi: Kokichi was pretty unimportant in his life.
Shuichi: what the video said lol
Maki: A weak girl who hated everyone. She always wanted to commit a crime, but knew she was too weak to do so. She joined V3 in hopes of getting stronger and being able to enact her plans.

“Bro Im not a drug dealer, what the hell is this conspiracy theory?” - rantaro amami, the ultimate avocado
2:21 this is when bro became the ultimate supreme leader
It’s hard to imagine Keade as anything other than what we first saw her as in the game her voice is so kind could it have been a lie.
I forgot to say my Headcanon but I Headcanon Miu as a virgin
I think Keebo wasn't normal, as before the killing game you can see a human Keebo with all the other characters, implying that at one point he was a human and had signed up for the killing game too and his Robot form was based on him as a person.
THE BABY PICTURE OF KAEDE HEELLPPP 😭😭
5:16
Jodio: ey another one to the party
Giorno: korega requiem da
Keebo is the camera man dude
I guess
It could also just be a combination that they sighed up, had their memories wiped, given false ones with the same personalities, then anime-ifed. For audience entertainment
Which is fucking convoluted but that’s just how V3 is
@@georgiepig5726 the point of the memory wipe is to ensure the characters aren't aware it's something they signed up for, and to make the game appear 'fictional' to the audience. If the characters were aware that they signed up and volunteered for the killing game, it wouldn't be appealing to the audience anymore, since they wouldn't have that desperation/powerful motive to kill, making the game lose its spark.
The bg music makes me feel as if you're going to spoonfeed me some propaganda about why Kirumi was heavily involved in Pearl Harbor.
There was a theory that said the soul that Korekiyo met in his execution was actually Mikan. He always refers her as his sister.

Rantaro: a f#cking drug dealer
This was neat to watch and I can see most of them but personally for Kaede I believe she was a good person who was a bit of an outcast with a pessimistic point of view. Maybe she grew pessimistic due to pressure placed on her concerning her piano lessons, which she struggled with.
As for Gonta i feel he was definitely rough around the edges with a temper but i can't see him as an jerk, maybe rude but means well. I can get behind him thinking his strength will lead to victory though.
1:22 SILLY, IT SAID SILLY
I really hated that they would make kokichi an uwu shy boy as his pre-game personality...it never felt right
Love these ideas, but wasn't Kaito's illness given to him specifically for V3?
That doesn't change the fact that it's also a cool lil idea

i imagine (Thu)Tsumugi with a rock song called "low budget horror"
she worked as a DR Team emploee but then the team just forced her to went into a machine (that could look like a Virtual Boy machine looking) to use real people and transform them into DR Ultimates.
of course, the process will be painful because the machine is giving too much to the brain that is gonna have a big colapse.
becoming insane, or maybe lost the personality of who is the real himself, lost on the sea of fabricated data that DR Team gave her.
making her, boring, throwing a lot of references.

Hoshi is, tragic. 😢
and Maki, even if she gain money, you cannot return to once you were: a human.
but, i think in one idea (and a cruel one), that DR Team uses orphan people to transform them into Danganronpa characters.
and Maki, being a orphan, forced to become a DR character.
I REFUSE to believe that Kaede was a horrible person. Just because she doesn't have faith in humanity (relatable) doesn't mean that she's a bad person
Tsumugi - bipolar
Kiibo - poor sap who got randomly picked
Maki - writer orphan.
Himiko - nastolgia fan
There’s a reason Rantaro is the ultimate weed smoker
4:28 Tf is that picture 💀
Honestly, I think Tsumugi is the only one whose talent is real. I just makes sense to me.
What I got from this video:
what you are pregame, you become the opposite in the game.
I'm sorry but the fact that the characters on miniature have things written like child abuse on them
And then there's tenko
