As much as I love Kirumi, Kiyo had more potential as a survivor - especially since he would've had to interact with Himiko after killing Tenko. Being confirmed killer, they could've removed incest subplot OR in 6th trial make him realize it's all fiction

Kork was done so dirty fr, instead of the subplot, it could of been him finally snapping from all of he murders, and he kills Angie and try’s for himiko, because he doesn’t want them to suffer anymore just like his sister “was good” slowly dying to her disease
Also everyone from GD aside from Chiaki DID survive as proven by the final anime episode of DR3. The ones that died were just put in a deep coma but Naegi got them back to normal.

Honestly v3 wouldve been so much better if Kokichi and Korekiyo survived somehow (i wouldnt care if they switched places with maki and himiko lol) bc imagine how much cooler and impactful the 6th trial wouldve been. Kokichi realizing all his beliefs and actions were implanted into him, realizing that his entire self (even the one he hid behind lies) was a lie all together... wow. Korekiyo surviving to realize his sister, everything he did, and possibly even his knowledge as an anthropologyst (all stuff he devoted his entire life to) were all just fake... GOD IT WOULDVE BEEN SO COOL!!!
I would totally LOVE to see Korekiyo have a panic attack at that moment. Because it literally means that all the possible trauma that he has (considering the theory that her sister sexually abused him) about his sister, is false and is designed to entertain other people who are watching at that very moment. It would be super painful to know that everything that made you suffer is false. Same with Kokichi, everything he did, all the plans to get him hated and antagonized, to destroy the Mastermind only to find out it's fake, nothing is really happening outside and that, tecnically, the people who died, died by the will of those who joined the game for fun, that their versions of the game suffered for nothing, Gonta and Miu having died for nothing. That he himself literally put himself through all that pressure and stuff because they liked the show (Not only that, but it could make way for Shuichi and him to work together this time sincerely without Kokichi lying and antagonizing himself because there was nothing to hide anymore).
Imagine if survivor Korekiyo decides to forcefully act out of his character just to spite Tsumugi for writing his character the way as it is, knowing deep down he still remains as the same no matter what.
I feel like Kirumi wouldn't have to reveal her position as the real Prime Minister of the Japan and still would act normal. I would be surprised if she survived until Ch.4-5. Seeing a country she used to serve demolished would render her killing motives useless. In the end of those fake memories and scenarios, she'll try her very best to serve her classmates in the best way while trying to figure who is the real master mind without trying to kill and preventing deaths from happening.
If Ryoma had lived at least until chapter 3 I can see him being a grounding character for Angie, since in the manga they seemed to get along, and in their few interactions within the game they also seemed to have no problem with one another, I feel maybe he couldn't stop Angie's rein on the school but he could most definitely talk some sense into her, ask her why she thinks it'll work, and possibly just weigh out her craziness.
Well unless they could manage to break the dome without Kiibo exploading, then the survivors would be stuck in the academy grounds until they either manage to leave or until they run out of food
That artwork of Gundham with the the rest of the remaining students in a bloody mess is just so eerie yet so interesting to see a different outcome that has him win the killing game over the others.
For the more vague ones: Leon would not affect the killing game in a significant way, but he could be more interesting Hifumi and Teruteru would not affect the killing game in a significant way If Nekomauru survives, it means he successfully killed Gundham, or everyone starves to death. Korekiyo does not affect the future trials in a significant way, but will be more likeable. If Miu didn't get attacked by Gonta in CH4, she would've been fairly useful in future trials
I feel like if Leon and Sayaka survived Leon's story would be more of a side story like probably growing and being friends with some of the characters do I think he'd kill not really unless provoked I know most of us see him as a meme but wanted to through some ideas into the mix on if he survived. Maybe he'd be that character that just stumbles across things sometimes. Or he'd be the target that Sakura would have choosen if no one killed. Another idea could be him getting to know others more which could provent more deaths even if he doesn't know it. Like maybe he'd be closer to certain characters like Chihiro, Yasuhiro or even Mondo. Maybe in those cases he'd be more mindful with Mondo cause knowing he has outburst but also would still trust him as a friend. Idk these are more just headcanons. Maybe his arc would be related to him finding out he still likes baseball even if he says he doesn't. He doesn't really add to the story much but he could also be that one person that points out dumb things. Like being that character that's like have we meet before despite not remembering. Or saying things that most would think won't help the trail but ends up helping the trial
I feel like Hiro -should've- could've died instead of Leon, he's definitely dumb enough to fall for Sayaka's bait (as we see with chapter 3 where he gets framed) but as opposed to Leon he's a lot less physically capable, so Sayaka would've succeeded in killing him.
@@renab.7390 as much as I didn't really think much of Hiro I've seen theories that the letter was for him but a mix up cause she thought Leon's room was Hiros room even with the name plates (because she wasn't paying attention to how people looked and matched up to the names) but either way I feel like alot of the characters were slept on unfortunately
Angie should have been the role that Kokichi was, she seemed like a bigger threat in terms of getting in the way to the truth than kokichi. Both of them would intervene in their own ways, we know kokichi does this cuz he a little bored and thinks it’s fun to mess it all up, like the sadist he is, it’s fine for like 2-3 chapters but after that it’s just annoying, Angie would have been the next replacement cuz imagine the little guy just dies after discovering Kork’s murder plan. It would go the same except kokichi gets smacked by the board and Kork puts the body in angie’s art room to frame her, maybe in the closet. He does the ‘ritual’ as a way to confirm if Angie really was the killer, whoever he chooses (probably Tenko again if Himiko tries offering herself as tribute or maybe himiko actually does volunteer) gets the death and it goes on Angie living is basically like: “you wish that guy lived but it’s only me and my ‘family’ now!” Maybe her cult will just have two members by the end of the chapter (one of them could be either tenko or himiko who got indoctrinated due to their guilt for the other) and she would probably intervene in chapter 4 like ‘but Miu was a heretic, we shouldn’t worry about her’ and definitely had gonta do the job of murder and would probably sell him out if he misbehaves. She may have also convinced Miu to make the tools used in chapter 5 however something happened between them and it resulted in the death of the inventor, showing that Angie ain’t afraid to dispose of those that disagree with her. Of course this may not be in character for Angie in the fullest but here is a thing to keep in mind: mental stability and motives. Something might tick her off the deep end, probably the aftermath of events after chapter 3 and the motive of chapter 4 could have gave her the green light that ‘we need to find the truth by any means, the upcoming end of this game will justify all I will do’ maybe she will also share this mentality with the detective, seeing her as an opposite but respecting him, hence chapter 5 appears. She goes awol, saying that she will bring them salvation, at this point after showing what she did in chapter 4, her cult is empty, everyone wants to avoid her, she plans to bring out the mastermind by staging a coup, kidnaps kaito after everyone discovers the secret to the outside world (she did find out like kokichi did) and the same murder happens except it’s Angie, probably due to regret after having a revelation. Maybe the last member said something before she took off with Kaito that slowly made her realize what she had done, but perhaps Atua is finally there with a blessing. The exisal plan goes forward and kaito is found out, but of course execution failed. The story is the same from there but maybe Angie left a gift in her lab or room before she went crazy. Maybe this would be different as this is just how I see how it could have gone downhill but maybe someone can think of a different approach to what could have happened, but if she does make it to chapter 6, she definitely gonna have an existential crisis, a big one in fact, maybe that’s when she changes like maybe she doesn’t die and isn’t the culprit but she would have had an end of a character arc in either chapter 5 or 6 depending when she died.
@@Agagagag-o1f KOKICHI did it for fun while Angie actually cared for everyone. Good to hear we hate the same people.. (Hifumi, Teruteru and Korekiyo) I actually feel like I might have liked Korekiyo more if he didn't have an incestuous relationship tacked on. Hifumi could have probably not killed best gay boy Taka, but it really does upset me that people blame Hifumi completely for Taka's death when Taeko Yasuhiro/Celestia Ludenburg basically told him Taka raped her. Sure Hifumi was stupid enough to believe her but I'm just saying Taeko isn’t entirely without fault here. As for Teruteru, I feel like he's the Leon and Hifumi of his game where he's given a relatively unpleasant personality and unlike characters like Mondo and Taka, he lacked their character development. Although honestly I don't hate Hiyoko as much as everyone else in The Americas do, I feel like she was genuinely trying to change for the better after Mahiru's death.
@@nagitosluckyboxers You mean he was planted with fake memories by Tsumugi and Team DR. But I genuinely feel I could have liked Korekiyo if he wasn't Chapter 3's killer.
Also do not throw shade at Komaeda. He may be a bit twisted but the dude lost literally everything if you watch his FTE which are confirmed by the manga and DR3. Also... how dare you say Gonta surviving would not change anything! He could have told everyone about Kokichi and Miu's plans and they could have been tied up Nagito style.
Great video! As a fanfiction writer on Ao3, I might consider making oneshots on some of these survival scenarios you got in this video. ;) Of course if I do make them, I will credit you by putting the link to this video in my fanfiction description! :D
Yes please! I'd really like to see what you fo with these! Especially Nagito (my favorite character, I'd have loved seeing Hajime rescue Nagito from himself, thwarting his plan, and everyone realizing the bombs were a bluff, it's not hard to reason that his luck saved him but also brought him more despair with everything happening in chapter 6) Kokichi (imo he should've been the one to live, since Kaito was doomed to die anyway) and Kaede (she didn't deserve to die, she didn't kill anyone).
@@renab.7390 Glad to hear that! :D Any suggestions for some of these survival scenarios? I might take your ideas, which you will be credited for of course! ;)
Cool thanks for using my comments, I don’t imagine lots of people know how useful Ibuki is in investigations, sadly her skills was kinda replaced by Akane so I can see why some consider Akane to be more useful
Okay, I was kind of pissed at the Mahiru and Hiyoko one, because you didn't mention that if Mahiru didn't die in Chapter 2, then Hiyoko wouldn't have died either because she would've had Mahiru to tie her kimono sash.
Well, Kiyo got ignored, huh. So, my idea - he was very useful in 1 and 2 trials (one of the sanest persons out there, lol), so... Redemption arc? He could understand he got manipulated and sister never actually loved him. He would break at this point, but then he, even being avoided, will try to act not like the watcher, but like actual participant of actions, he could try to make friends for his own, not for sister. Making him, the actual murderer we saw with our own eyes, one of the survivors will make ending very spicy. At least, he could live for some time and get killed by someone rlse in sake of safeness for class.
@@SodiumNuke I actually like the first death order, but I also kind of hate it at the same time. This is an alternative version of the killing game only unlocked after beating the first. Look, I’ll show you. Chapter 0 (Shuichi is the protagonist.) Chapter 1 Tsumugi > Shuichi (Kaede becomes the protagonist.) Chapter 2 Korekiyo > Tenko Chapter 3 Gonta > Angie (Kirumi > Ryoma). Chapter 4 Kaito > Maki (Maki > Maki) (Miu ≠ Rule’s) Chapter 5 Keebo > Kokichi Chapter 6 Kaede, Ryoma, and Rantaro do class trial as a finale for the killing game. (Also, Himiko vanishes without a trace. They cannot find her, it’s unclear if she’s dead or alive.) Mastermind: Kaori Akamatsu (Kaede’s twin sister.) Chapter 7 After the killing game is over, the survivors are Kaede, Ryoma, and Rantaro.
Bruh the third trial of the first game was incredibly disappointing. They should have killed yasuhiro(?) (the clairvoyant?) instead of Taka because how are you gonna kill his best friend just to have him die literally RIGHT AFTER. And Celeste??? She should’ve been so much smarter she literally the ultimate gambler??? 🙁
I doubt Naegi would be killed instead his luck would cause the machine to malfunction we’ve seen it happen twice he gets lucky when junko try’s to Jill him with a wrench sense he falls and it misses and we see his execution his luck comes in to save him from the crusher while kyoko dies
Bro Hiyoko‘s survival would have been the biggest game changer. DR2 would have been about 200% more fun with her still around, and her development would have been absolutely perfect
@@Glacier-y5w oh no I wasn't saying that it sucks that you put him as meaningless it sucks that the people in the game didn't believe him the last words
Hifumi said he remembered his killers name, but the only way Hifumi would know Celestia's real name is if he knew her before the killing game... Provoking Kirigiri's theory of their stolen memories.
Angie's and Korekiyo's Survival would have been interesting: Amgie was set on not wanting to escape and instead create Atua's paradise in school. So I guess once Monokuma threatens them with a countdown to murder, she would have convinced 2 of her followers to sacrifice themselves. One as the murdered and one as the culprit. Korekiyo living even though he killed Tenko but not Angie would have been REALLY interesting. Having a murderer, who already killed one of them, in the group would have really shifted the antagonistic views onto him instead of solely Kokichi. And his interactions with Himiko especially... I FEEL ROBBED!
Would should of survived in daganronpa V1 Makoto Kyoko Sakura Toko Taka aoi V2 Hajime chaiaki Ibuki (I'm being biaist just cuz I like her nekomaru akane V3 Kaede she had so much personality deserved to live and with Kaede and Shuichi they prob would of found mastermind quicker with less deaths Shuichi gonta keebo maki This just my opinion you can have other opinions also if there is a comment asking me how ??? Everyone hates Hifumi for no good reason, he was active in every class trial, and was the reason the 3rd trial was solvable. And even if you talk about all that Alter Ego stuff, try to imagine having almost everyone who sees you call you a freak, and treat you like a tool, and then you meet something that's almost sentient, and doesn't view you like an abnormality. You'd do the same and you know it.

I am glad they both died😊
I'm late to the party but... there is a canon manga?!
K1-B0 in the corner: Am I a joke to you?
Well unless they could manage to break the dome without Kiibo exploading, then the survivors would be stuck in the academy grounds until they either manage to leave or until they run out of food
Tsumugi Shirogane in the other corner: Time to die anyway
That artwork of Gundham with the the rest of the remaining students in a bloody mess is just so eerie yet so interesting to see a different outcome that has him win the killing game over the others.
For the more vague ones:
Leon would not affect the killing game in a significant way, but he could be more interesting
Hifumi and Teruteru would not affect the killing game in a significant way
If Nekomauru survives, it means he successfully killed Gundham, or everyone starves to death.
Korekiyo does not affect the future trials in a significant way, but will be more likeable.
If Miu didn't get attacked by Gonta in CH4, she would've been fairly useful in future trials
If Chihiro didn’t get vibe checked by Mondo chapter 3 wouldn’t have happened since Hifumi & Kiyotaka wouldn’t obsess over a laptop
“vibe checked” 💀

0:19 im glad to have mine in this vid!! Im very passionate about Mukuro:)
He does the ‘ritual’ as a way to confirm if Angie really was the killer, whoever he chooses (probably Tenko again if Himiko tries offering herself as tribute or maybe himiko actually does volunteer) gets the death and it goes on
Angie living is basically like: “you wish that guy lived but it’s only me and my ‘family’ now!” Maybe her cult will just have two members by the end of the chapter (one of them could be either tenko or himiko who got indoctrinated due to their guilt for the other) and she would probably intervene in chapter 4 like ‘but Miu was a heretic, we shouldn’t worry about her’ and definitely had gonta do the job of murder and would probably sell him out if he misbehaves.
Kokichi didn’t do it for fun he tried convincing himself it was for fun. There’s a reason in chapter 5 where he sacrifices himself
@@Agagagag-o1f KOKICHI did it for fun while Angie actually cared for everyone. Kokichi didn't """"""""""""""""sAcRiFiCe HiMsElF""""""""""" because he cared, he knew the mastermind was going to execute him anyway and decided to go on his own terms in a way that is going to get the most people hurt and killed.
Kokichi is just a monstrous sociopath without a single shred of humanity while Angie actually cares about people and would sacrifice herself for others@@Agagagag-o1f
Mondo said he blacked out before he killed Chihiro and when he snapped back to reality he saw Chihiro dead
Korekiyo technically wasn’t inlove with his sister since he was groomed
@@nagitosluckyboxers You mean he was planted with fake memories by Tsumugi and Team DR.

As a fanfiction writer on Ao3, I might consider making oneshots on some of these survival scenarios you got in this video. ;)
Of course if I do make them, I will credit you by putting the link to this video in my fanfiction description! :D
Forgot to mention I will post links to said oneshots when I finish them, so you can read them and tell me your opinion. 😀
Any suggestions for some of these survival scenarios? I might take your ideas, which you will be credited for of course! ;)

Cool thanks for using my comments, I don’t imagine lots of people know how useful Ibuki is in investigations, sadly her skills was kinda replaced by Akane so I can see why some consider Akane to be more useful
Killing their girlfriends? Peko could have survived if she just listened to Fuyuhiko and forget about their roles
2:14 don't forget, he killed best boy... OVER A F*CKING AI!!!! AND I'M STILL MAD ABOUT IT!
At least, he could live for some time and get killed by someone rlse in sake of safeness for class.
wouldn’t the first trial just not happen if leon had decided not to kill sayaka when she went in the bathroom?
2:54 tbh if twogami didn’t let anyone to die we would be stuck in the fun house way earlier, thus forcing a murder
Let’s all face it everyone, Kiyotaka deserved to be a survivor in replacement of Yasuhiro, and Hiyoko deserved to be a survivor in replace of Sonia.
What about killing harmony?

Chapter 1
Tsumugi > Shuichi
(Kaede becomes the protagonist.)
Chapter 2
Korekiyo > Tenko
Chapter 3
Gonta > Angie (Kirumi > Ryoma).
Chapter 4
Kaito > Maki (Maki > Maki) (Miu ≠ Rule’s)
Chapter 5
Keebo > Kokichi
Chapter 6
Kaede, Ryoma, and Rantaro do class trial as a finale for the killing game. (Also, Himiko vanishes without a trace. They cannot find her, it’s unclear if she’s dead or alive.)
Mastermind: Kaori Akamatsu (Kaede’s twin sister.)
Chapter 7
After the killing game is over, the survivors are Kaede, Ryoma, and Rantaro.
Worse one in the series
hiyoko could have gotten development
yea
If hiyoko survived she would def get a character development making her more likeable
No reason? Hifumi was tricked into killing him because of their fight and what Celeste said
Ok but why is the image of Kaito and ryoma kinda cute
All of these are true facts yet I haven't even finished this video but it's so splendid :D
Leon (or 11037) literally jumscared me💀💀
I doubt Naegi would be killed instead his luck would cause the machine to malfunction we’ve seen it happen twice he gets lucky when junko try’s to Jill him with a wrench sense he falls and it misses and we see his execution his luck comes in to save him from the crusher while kyoko dies
If mondo never died taka would most likely still be alive aswell
Ngl is Kaede just didn't roll the shot put, then literally nothing in V3 would've happened
Bro Hiyoko‘s survival would have been the biggest game changer. DR2 would have been about 200% more fun with her still around, and her development would have been absolutely perfect
I love kokichi and it sucks that his death was meaningless😢
But anyways it's my opinion, I totally respect your opinion about that
@@Glacier-y5w oh no I wasn't saying that it sucks that you put him as meaningless it sucks that the people in the game didn't believe him the last words
Hifumi said he remembered his killers name, but the only way Hifumi would know Celestia's real name is if he knew her before the killing game... Provoking Kirigiri's theory of their stolen memories.
Angie's and Korekiyo's Survival would have been interesting:
Amgie was set on not wanting to escape and instead create Atua's paradise in school.
If the ultimate imposter did live Nagito would have been the first victim
Lets not forget that he killed taka if he also killed Celeste then well idk what the story becomes
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE SOUND LEON MADE 💀💀💀
Taka could have gotten such a good arc by living on. BUT NOOOOO HAVE HIM KILLED OFF-

V3 Kaede she had so much personality deserved to live and with Kaede and Shuichi they prob would of found mastermind quicker with less deaths

6:22 correction; the game ends on 5 people *specifically* because they wanted less than 8 people alive

Kyoko legit figured that out before the mf died bro 💀💀
@@YourFavoriteNPC No. No she didn't. She put two and two together around chapter 5. Like, she knew SHE had amnesia, but she didn't realize the rest of the class had it too until Hifumi's death.
