Khonshu is just a G. Changing sky to 2k years ago and being trapped in a stone whenever it is needed. My man is a trooper.
Oscar Isaacs acting just keeps getting better every episode
I love Indiana Jones meets The Mummy influenced in this episode. RIP Gaspard Ulliel. I also loved the hints to Jake Lockley in this show since episode 1. The visuals in this series are marvelous. The fight scenes in this episode were phenomenal. Arthur Harrow gives me Baron Zemo, Erik Killmonger, Thanos, and Ikaris vibes. Arthur Harrow is an excellent and terrifying villain. Arthur Harrow is also the king of gaslighting. The music in the show is terrific. The imprisoning of Khonshu was a fantastic scene. The other Gods have no chill and their bias against Khonshu.
Arthur Harrow is suchhhh an amazing antagonist.
Bro HIS POWERS he’s gotta be one of the more powerful heroes in the MCU now. Super speed, super strength, healing, unlimited moon blades, and immortality. Like wtfffff

Steven is the nice nerd, Marc is the Indiana jones type mercenary, and Jake is the Jason bourne level Spy.
I am soooo glad they introduced the third brutal personality "Jake Lockley".. they had teased episode 4 will be bonkers, I hope they'll show us more of his side. Pretty dope af.

Jake lockey is making his way , its seems that he is a supressed alter and sightly tweaked in contrast how he is in the comics (but again steven is also different here). He is still resourceful and a "persuasive" guy in this version.

Anton buys artifacts and antiques from the black market. The Power Broker deals in selling everything from weapons to art. Anton seems to have bad history with Layla when Anton said he was ready to forgive her.
So put two and two together.
Anton, with Layla, was probably buying something from the Power Broker. Layla probably betrays Anton and steals whatever Anton was buying.

great job as usual . Layla actress reminds me of Rachel Weisz from the mummy 1 and 2. This series reminds me of Indiana Jones meet the Mummy . Oscar Issacs is doing a great job and Jake Lockley is the third personality.

In the comics Marc was part of the team raiding the site but gets killed trying to stop the murder of the archeologists.

I think that Layla is going to be the “scarab”that guides Mark to find where Khonshu has been banished and incased in stone. This is all just guessing obviously, but I think that Layla’s father is one of Khonshu’s previous avatars and Khonshu has had his eye on Layla since she was born. That necklace she killed the guy with was given to her by her father but he got it while he was Khonshu’s avatar. This is all solely based off of when that woman said her father called her his little scarab lol

Just when I started to feel like the transitions between personalities was getting stale they brought even more fire. This show is consistent and the big Easter egg of Jake Lockley the apparent third personality was so dope. He's even more brutal than Specter. Marc will get his hands dirty but Jake just murks dudes. Keep it coming fellas. Peace and blessings.

If they keep it fairly close to the comics, the 3rd alter (Jake) is a HUGE asshole but isn't super skilled like Marc. He usually does the information gathering, talking to informants and such. I suspect he's also the one that asked out the woman in Ep 1

Yea Marc definitely has a 3rd personality that is far more brutal than even Marc apparently the accent changes whenever Marc is wearing the cap the way Jake does in the comics so that furthers the speculation. I think he knows more about Layla's death than he let's on and that might mean he's trying to protect her or that he is guilty of something. Doubt he killed her dad but he probably knows who did and why.

in the comics there is. Jake Lockley, who was supposed to be a NYC cab driver. but then again, in the comics Steven is an American narcissistic billionaire instead of a timid English gift shop salesman, so im fine with changing Jake too

Here is what I would do. If I had the power to know if a person will do something evil in the future, but see that the person is currently good, then I'd rather just try and keep them out the evil path.

As evil as Harrow is, Khonshu is absolutely an abusive a*hole in the comics, even deciding that the best way to exact justice being to take over the world at one point. So while Harrow is absolutely wrong, I understand his point of view.
