@@elijahmclaughlin-prosser9002 it’s definitely Jake, but I must’ve misspelled and autocorrect took over and I didnt notice, thanks for the reply correcting my mistake
You know. In the comics, moon knight has three personalities. Marc Spector: a mercenary, Steven Grant: a billionaire, and Jake lockley, a violent taxi driver. You don’t think that when Marc switched he became 👀
Yeah thought the Gods/Avatars took disgruntled former Konshu avatar Arthur Harrow at face value a little too easily - they literally opened a portal for him from the dig site! Thought they were setting it up so that the one in the suit at the end there was secretly in league with Harrow, but nope, turns out he also took him at face value! Got another FaWS Easter Egg in the Madripoor shout-out after last week's GRC bus ad! RIP to the actor Gaspard Ulliel who played Anton who died tragically a few months ago in a skiing accident!
It makes me wonder how much dirt Khonshu has done in the past if they so readily believed Harrow. Why was Khonshu really banished in the first place? Just because Khonshu is fighting Ammit doesn’t make him much better than her, I think that whole situation with the Ennead is a hint towards that.
@@sheerri i mean true but he's a god right. He can do whatever the fuck he wants.Sure he's not better than ammit but i feel like if you're that Powerful, you don't have to give a fuck about anything, just do what you want, cause you're a fucking god and I'm okay with that.
@@aaditkhan728 Sure, he's above mortals, but in the pantheon of Egyptian gods he's not even among the top group of supergods. It makes me wonder what he's done to get on the other gods' bad sides specifically. It was clear they already didn't view him as credible before this episode and doubly clear after it. He must have done something to piss them off.
I mean remember: Not even the gods know where Ammit's temple is. So they had no idea that Arthur was directly AT the temple, just that he was out in the desert. On top of that though I think it's mainly that they just have no faith in Khonshu. None of them respect him, so it's not too hard to believe they would take the word of someone they already know and trust that has been broken by Khonshu in the past over Khonshu himself
@@phyco9635 Yeah, but it still feels like it may have warranted some kind of follow up. Like a probation visit for former avatars. What exactly were you doing in the desert anyway?
I love Indiana Jones meets The Mummy influenced in this episode. RIP Gaspard Ulliel. I also loved the hints to Jake Lockley in this show since episode 1. The visuals in this series are marvelous. The fight scenes in this episode were phenomenal. Arthur Harrow gives me Baron Zemo, Erik Killmonger, Thanos, and Ikaris vibes. Arthur Harrow is an excellent and terrifying villain. Arthur Harrow is also the king of gaslighting. The music in the show is terrific. The imprisoning of Khonshu was a fantastic scene. The other Gods have no chill and their bias against Khonshu.
This show is fire & moon knight be powerful like damn he can control the stars 🌟🔥! & Oscar Isaac killing it switching from Marc to Steven. & they fight was dope
OK so remember the panther god in black panther bast is based on the Egyptian god and we’ve had mentioned to this connects the black panther in that way. Bast is based on real life mythology Bastet. Bastet was given the heart of ra. Funny enough wakanda had a heart shaped herb. Marc is Khonshu avatar so in a way since the black panther got his power from bast is he like her avatar. The asgardians are gods and we have seen a transfer of power from thor to steve Rogers however it be by a Thor’s hammer. THat brings me to relics of dr strange where they use weapons of higher beings to channel energy and power. Also a lot of this is based on Egyptian mythology which is In Africa another obvious connection to panther. Bastet is a direct child of ra and also his protector

Layla/Steven are most likely going to Giza to rescue Khonshu. Steven/Marc/Jake get the vision of going to the Asylum to coping his identities to stop Arthur.
I think that Layla is going to be the “scarab”that guides Mark to find where Khonshu has been banished and incased in stone. This is all just guessing obviously, but I think that Layla’s father is one of Khonshu’s previous avatars and Khonshu has had his eye on Layla since she was born. That necklace she killed the guy with was given to her by her father but he got it while he was Khonshu’s avatar. This is all solely based off of when that woman said her father called her his little scarab
Note that Steven said it wasn’t him. Marc also said it wasn’t him. Khonshu can’t take control of the avatars body either. In the first episode most of the mirrors showed 3 reflections of steven. If Marc is in love with Layla then who asked out stevens co worker?
Someone told him the reason why Moonknight was changed was because the comics version was centered in the New York and a lot of marvel COMICS heroes are in NY. So Rob is confusing the MCU with the comics
Rob my guy what are you talking about the only MCU show centered in NY was Hawkeye and Wanda vision Falcon and the winter soldier was Louisiana mainly and I can't remember what country but they had a US embassy so it wasn't America. 8:57 am I the only one that noticed the similarities between this scene and the one in loki. Two lovers( a boy and girl) with this purple and yellowish lighting.
Solid episode and awesome reaction. I have say, compared to the Norse gods, I do like how in these small scenes, they actually made these gods feel like ancient and powerful gods who shouldn’t be messed with. No offense, but I’ve always gotten more of an alien feel from Thor and his family. Even though magic and science are suppose to be the same thing in the MCU.
i've known about Moon Knight since the mid 80s and even though i always thought he had a cool costume i just never could really get into the character. the only thing i ever read with him i thought was really good was when he fought The Shroud in a back up story in Solo Avengers 3. so when this Disney Plus Moon Knight series came out i was hoping it might invigorate some real interest in the character for me. the first 2 episodes were kinda confusing and episode 3 was just plain boring and more confusing. I'm done.
Whoever the third personality is, there probably the one that asked out the girl from the museum. Steven didn't do it and mark doesn't seem like the type to do it.
Please stop it with the comparison with Batman because Bruce Wayne is pathetic rich White guy who feel privilege to put on a bat suit and run around town like a crazy me who take himself too seriously, I can deal with movies like Super made by James Gunn showing how stupid that is and Kick Ass to a lesser amount but similar to Batman. Moon Night is more about a man who's a train killer that have mental problems and an avatar of a moon God that supply him with a suit that protect him and give him abilities and he have other personalities that has added qualities to assist Marc in carrying out the mission.

With the car mirror right, yea that was awesome. Also can’t wait for the other identity to appear
Steven... With a V 👈

It's Marc with a C and Steven with a V.
