marios moon walk there is a reference to when you press left and right at the same time on the original nes rom. Apparently that easter egg flew under the radar

Just in case anyone missed it, Mario fights Bowser at exactly 9:13 because the Japanese release date for the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES was September 13th 1985. That’s my favourite easter egg of the bunch, to be honest!

@@charliestrobel2920 they may have put a patch in some of the latest releases. It works for mine. But for some reason when I tried it on some that many just got it didn't work. ( Most likely the first releases had the Easter eggs and they may have changed the system slightly in October)

You are not kidding, some of these secrets actually require you to watch a specific minute in the day until it rolls over to the next for it to activate. With that in mind It's also possible I've missed one haha.

I can't believe there's still thousands upon thousands of Nintendo easter eggs or by itself, just easter eggs across all games. . .
I had forgotten they were originally called Boo Diddly, mostly it's just Boos now.
The fact that they did a callback to the Mario Drawing song from the 25th anniversary is such dedication to the history lmao.
It's almost as if they knew we'd currently have nothing else to do but stare at the clock all day..

That was so great, It really makes me feel so great when I see these kinds of stuff from such a big and childhood game I know it passed but happy anniversary Mario, I love you

You forgot a few but listed a lot that I didnt know about.
You can press B on Super Mario Bros Title Screen and change the world
Holding A while on SMB or SMB 2 will grant you infinite lives
Holding A during mario juggle will change mario to luigi
If you wait 3 mins at the clock screen then it will show an image of mario sleeping.
These are the only missed ones
Just to nitpick because why not, the first one about changing the world in Super Mario Bros. is more a feature of the game itself than an Easter egg - the game's state must always be one of a beaten game, but without the buzzy beetles everywhere.
There are 2 more images at the clock screen while waiting 3 mins. that only pop up at specific time periods, specifically between 12 p.m to 1 p.m & 11 p.m to 12 a.m!
hold a and b button at the same time and the time screen and the numbers will flash!
Finally the 35 Secrets in a YT Vid
It's a pity there are more then. First: There's a third go-to-sleep screen for "Ball" showing Mario juggling balls. Second, if you long-press "A" on the Super Mario Bros. (both games) start screen, you'll get infinite lives. So I guess this video doesn't get "all 35" easter eggs.
@@fryke there are Even more sleep screens. I think five in total. For example during lunch time you get an image of Mario eating pizza!

The various sleep screens which come up when the clock is idle for a few minutes without the charger connected are a lot of fun too.
Also if you press A+B simultaneously on the clock screen the numbers will flash.
They really poured out their heart into this lil thing.

At first, there are 3 hidden pictures and when you play the Ball minigame and Hold A while starting the game, the MArio Head changes to Luigi
Literally just saw the Luigi Ball Easter Egg :( oh well.

This is amazing
You can reset all data and hi-scores by holding the UP key, the PAUSE/SET key, and the POWER button (make sure to press the POWER button in last). Hold the three buttons for about 4 seconds. If you want to erase only game progress without erasing hi-scores and other settings, hold the POWER button for about 5 seconds.
These secrets are interesting. Just when I thought this was just a port.

you missed 2 if you hold A for 6 seconds on mario game or mario 2 you get unlimited lives and if you press be you can world skip
I got 2 more! If you hold A for about 5 seconds on Mario Bros 1 & 2 you will start with infinite lives! If you hold A on Ball you will play as Luigi instead of Mario. And I assume everyone knows you can select a world to start in by pressing B right?
As the 2 game and watches in this series contain a handful of some of my favorite titles from my childhood I can't help but love them, the clocks are just so much to love.
