Still the very best. As a film, as a race and as engineers and drivers. And a great story and sequel to the first film. Thank you so much for posting Chris.

58:57 - 59:42 Dirty driving by Montagny against Lotterer. 1:00:16 Lotterer escapes Montagny and tames Montagny's Peugeot number 8. 40:58 - 41:08 Red Sonja preparing to fight back. 31:42 - 32:00 Loved how Andre Lotterer and Red Sonja attacks the track with fastest laps. 25:59 - 26:20 Allan McNish's frustration.
2011 24 Hours Of Le Mans. Best 24 Hours Of Le Mans ever. Love how the last surviving Audi won against three Peugeots. 51:4352:00 Benoit Treluyer's pass.
1:07:03 Andre Lotterer: People think wow. All the pressure on these guys but for us in the car and the seat and within our little group of people we were focused on racing, performing and didn't matter if they were there or not and pressure's there anyways in racing and you learn to deal with that. Hands down to you and your team, Andre Lotterer. 🙌
That's refreshing to hear a conversation with (someone employed by) an automaker without marketing BS. I'd love to hear more of those "podcasts". About hybrids : in europe , french and german automakers were going big on diesel full hybrids. Today only Mercedes does that. I think that the "best" compromise could be a diesel with a mild hybrid (think
Andre Lotterer: 1:00:06 At any other race I would have probably just gone crazy over the radio but I didn't say anything. And I just was waiting for my best opportunity to pass. 1:00:25 In Mulsanne, in the last moment I just dived in and took a big risk and you feel its not necessary to take those big risk with a lap car but you know at the same time clock was ticking and have to do it. Nice move and well said, Andre Lotterer. 🎉🙌
@@harald2101 They're focusing on the clown show known as F1. They'll probably come back after doing what Toyota did and bust the bank account for a couple of pole positions and podiums. Fortunately, Porsche, Peugeot, Toyota and Lamborghini know that F1 isn't the be all and end all.
@@samuelmartins2559 Well, I guess it depends how well this "adventure" goes. If they actaully do well (which they probably won't) they'll stick around till they are not. If they do a "Toyota", they'll be back faster than you can watch exciting highlights of the 2023 season. Actually no, that's impossible.
If guy never cut the #1 car off it would've been an easier victory but Audi right all the car needed was to run hard to start working correctly it needed that track to be able for it to work properly ✅

This is the fiercest edition of LM24 race ever. Witnessed every minute of it on TV. Nothing compares.
Greatest 24 Hours Of Le Mans ever.

That's a fabulous attitude from a great driver who deserves more recognition.

5 years later, this quote was proven more than true...
The first 24h of Le Mans race I watched live - and what a race it was!

all this is gone because of ev ideology and the Dieselgate... so sad. Audi deserves a second chance now with new diesel tech and rules.
Absolutely, we want Audi back in the WEC.
Amazing movie. Shame Audi wont return to LMDh or LHM :(
Never say never, I know a guy that knows a guy…

They will be back! They said one year ago that the project is paused... So they will be back sometime in a near future, after the F1 "adventure".

Best to ever do it at lemans. Better than porsche imo. Awesome to have watched andres ascent to super stardom in the sportscar world.
