I’m so happy for self made chef! He was one of my favorites on the show. He seems like a genuinely nice person. That’s nice that he’s going around to thank the guests too.
Honestly it was the stories of the self made chefs, Omakase Auntie, and Edward Lee that really resonated with me. They are the ones whose restaurants I would support. Please consider going to the restaurant of the Grandmother in the first episode who made oyster jeon. I love that the show has boosted the business for these restaurants.
He was definitely one of my favorites on the show - in general the chinese cuisine cooks appealed to me more because of how they season. Their food all looks very appetizing. I wish I could have tried his meatball fried rice just once!
I really love this guy because of his Humbleness. I'm one of he's fan watching Class of Culinary Wars. I wanted to try his signature dish the Dong Po Rou, mouthwatering! And also I really adore the Comic Book Chef because of he's creativity. I love them ❤️ I'm your fan from Philippines 🇵🇭
yeah! let's support this guy. i like this guy and the comic book chef. on a different note, i don't get it as your English speaking voice is pretty amazing, slightly husky with gorgeous tone and then Korean voice sounds like a cartoon character?
@@MimiMangetsu i get that part but the tone is not my favorite. i know for a fact that full conversation wouldn't be spoken this way but ... i was taught not to speak this way by my grand parents when i was even a child so it's a bit puzzling. that's all.
The foods colour is kinda bland, but it must be super good when even chef ahn and the mukbang creators liked it right away! Also self-made chef is so humble and talented, he's someone everyone would want to support :)
This video was fun and cute - and made me really wish I could try those dishes. Please visit more restaurants run by the stars of "Culinary Class Wars". If you don't mind losing a little sleep :-)
I assume 6 hours without reservation? Better not try without reservation. For me no restaurant is worth 6 hours of standing. I see no chairs r refreshments prepared. I think there are equally good restaurants sonewhere.
Hard pass for me. My neighborhood sushi place got really crowded because it had about 10 tables + another 12 people around the sushi bar. Maybe I would have to wait about 15+ minutes. Swan Oyster Depot (Anthony Bourdain's favorite spot in SF) was walking distance from my apartment, but the line / wait was way too long. Would walk to the other place that was good enough and served similar food.
Dearest Jessica you are a great journalist!!! I love your reporting! But now I have one question: While happy people are waiting in a line to get into a “in restaurant “ in Seoul the following can be seen in our TV: there are many videos showing how 1200 strong North Korean military detachment arrives in Russia! They were put into Russian uniforms and given Russian passports to go to the front to fight against Ukraine. There are thousands and thousand more North Korean soldiers to follow! Dearest Jessica: Is this known in South Korea? ?
Chef Ahn was correct when he said that his dishes can only be made in Korea and is not the authentic Chinese flavors. You cant serve these dishes in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Your restaurant will close in 3 months. But I guess thats what makes his dishes interesting from a foreign viewer.
I don’t care how good the food is at a restaurant. I would never wait that ridiculous length of time. Six hours? Really, that is a quarter of a day. You can get on a plane and fly somewhere exciting.
???? well then don't watch this, it's obvious you're very new to this industry. even in Japan people are used to lining up in front of restaurants to eat good food..
Pretty dumb to queue 4-5 hours for food. If i were the chef i wouldn't let my customer queue like that. A proper system would allow everyone gets to eat like reservation in advance.
well then don't watch this, it's obvious you're very new to this industry. even in Japan people are used to lining up in front of restaurants to eat good food. You weird.
You're right with the reservation system. But that's only true in Western World. Asian people normally get use to just walk in a restaurant and order food, even for the luxury one. Sometime asian just don't want the hassles just to reserve a table for one or two. It's a cultural thing to be honest.
@@skymugen Don’t forget the fact that Asia has a significantly larger population than Western countries. The sheer number of people in Asia often makes reservation systems less effective, as places tend to be overcrowded regardless.
