@@abouttime2569 he clarified it was evil editing during his appearance on Baek Jong won's channel. To be fair, he really is known for public-friendly palate and recipe, so I would be worried too if I'd been in Triple Star's shoes. Not that it's a bad thing, I prefer comofort food over fine dining but if your spot is on the line, there's a reason to be worried. Judge Baek didn't take offense though
@@kerrim4799 He did say it was ''evil editing'' but the edited part wouln't have made the situation a lot better anyway. He still said what he said about Baek. The edited out part would have just put him in a slightly better light but still kinda bad anyway. Baek received the same suspicion of not knowing much about fine dining like 8 years ago because he was more known for his comfort dishes. Yet Baek proved himself to the public time and time again throughout the years that he knows his fine dining dishes. That is why Koreans were calling out Triple Star that he was disrespecting Baek when Baek proved for many years that he knew a lot about fine dining. Why describe someone in a bad light when you barely even know him? If you don't know much about someone, be careful what you say about that person.
Chef Edward Lee is so well-spoken. He almost made me teary-eyed in just a few sentences 🥲 I'm so curious how this experience will impact his next cooking ventures! I hope to try his food one day!

If season 2 comes back with a restaurant mission, I hope this time it's open to a much larger crowd who comes and goes as they please, and has to pay out of their own pocket. Like Chef Choi mentioned, the strategy he took this time is not something that can be done realistically. The anime Food Wars played similar challenges (hotel breakfast buffet exam, food festival) with much better thought-out mechanics.
I was constantly looking something similar to food wars anime for so long and this show does not disappoint me Plus it's real life stories I need moreeeee
Chef Jung Ji Sun said that this show inspired many people to be chef. That is the most incredible thing that happening not only in Korea but also other countries. I'm deeply saddened but the fact that everyone is rooting and praising edward lee or triple star, and hardly nobody is recognizing the talent and skill of napoli matfia. You guys don't realize that the dishes he worked were so perfect that he advances to next round scoring so high so easily beating like 7 people dishes easily. Chef ahn gave him 90 or 9 point to his dishes that he didn't gave scores like that to anyone else even the white spoon chef. He said that his dishes were excellent and at level of the dishes he makes himself. So, you can imagine the food he prepare must taste so so good. Even you might choose him as the true winner that he is, if you tasted his food.
I believe Chef Edward Lee is the true winner. It seems both unfair and unusual that a foreigner, regardless of their Korean heritage, who does not live in Korea, cannot win-in other words, would not win. They can’t even be fair when everyone is Korean, because other factors come into play. Jam Republic in *Street Woman Fighter 2* wasn’t going to win no matter what. I’m disappointed.

Chef Choi Hyunseok! ❤ So funny and clever at the same time. Very real 😂
The best korean survival show I've watched.. the challenges were all so fun not a single boring episode, I hope season 2 will be as good
Chef choi is so funny 😂
Aunt imokase outfits always serves! First the hanboks and now this
I NEED MORE OF TRIPLE STAR GIVE THIS GUY ANOTHER SHOW TO STAR ON. I'D HAPPILY WATCH HIM MAKE FINE DINING DISHES
Guy is racking up followers with 11 posts on IG. Funny how the Korean viewers hated him in the elimination, but is now loved.
@@kerrim4799his id??
@@kerrim4799 Yea he kinda made a hasty comment about judge Baek. That is why Triple Star got some hate in the first round.
I get excited when i see chef edward lee...
Chef Edward Lee is so well-spoken. He almost made me teary-eyed in just a few sentences 🥲 I'm so curious how this experience will impact his next cooking ventures! I hope to try his food one day!
Omg yesss please have Edward Lee make a convenience store meal~~ that challenge was so fun and I want to see what he would make~
The cooking demonstration from all these chefs was amazing, I thought the way they pieced the challenges together was exciting as well. I can't wait to see another season.
I binged this show this past weekend and I loved it! but it made me so hungry lol
triple star and edward lee were my faves
Imookase needs to drop the skin care routine. Also been waiting for this to be translated!
I checked several times for the translation to be dropped
@@rahmawatidewi8047yes! I’ve been seeing this in my algo for a couple of weeks but no subs. But here it is!

Aunt Omakase got a glow up and Chef Ji Sun also looks adorable and I teared up listening to her life story 💙 I have tried making a couple of recipes, going to try some more this festive season and for my mothers and my birthday and for new years. It's Culinary Class Wars season 😅
Wish they would make a 2nd season for this, really appreciate a whole show ❤ the intense was good and the drama aren't too much
They did announce they'll make a 2nd season although it's still probably gonna be a long while
Triple Star & Chef Edward Lee are both my favorite chefs in this season.
It is good seeing chef choi acknowledging triple star.
I looove Culinary Class Wars! And I'm hoping for a show where Chef Edward Lee can reconnect with his Korean roots through food -- perhaps a K-food journey through local markets? Please, Netflix?? 🙏🏻
The life of Lee Kun has just begun...look forward to more appearance of Chef Edward Lee on the Korean shows.
this was hell of a show!
Triple star and napoli matfia is on same level of calm during competition
Really love them❤
Triple Star 🌟 🤩 a kdrama actor doing press for his show energy
Such a genius concept! I got too immersed in this series that all I did in my school break (6days) was watch all the episodes then watch more clips on UA-cam. I guess I'll be an all-nighter cause I forgot I'm teacher and we're going back to school tomorrow😂
I adore the charismatic Chef Edward Lee, his voice is awesome too
18:17 the way Napoli Matfia didnt even look down that whole scene and stood confident until his name was announced the winner is just PEAK. The absolute confidence that comes with actual skills >>>
Edward Lee cozinhou todo o tipo de comida, oriental, ocidental, sobremessa, incrivel a criatividade dele
Triple star is the main reason why i watch this show 😂
Didn’t realize that Jung Ji Sun can be this great in looks. So stunning!!
Chef edward lee is the real winner for me
Seems like a lot of people feel that way, including me. Napoli did great too but Chef Edward was the winner for me
Styling team did a hell of a good job there, everyone's looking fine and classy for this video!
This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time! Everything was of the highest quakity and so well thought out!
the tofu mission should been for the finale or deciding who would be in the finale
really thankful to netflix for doing this cooking show. they changed the lives of most chefs in this competition. and i got to know triple star 💙
I was constantly looking something similar to food wars anime for so long and this show does not disappoint me
Plus it's real life stories
I need moreeeee
Chef Jung Ji Sun said that this show inspired many people to be chef. That is the most incredible thing that happening not only in Korea but also other countries.
As in my country also facing this issue where younger generation dreaming to be socmed influencers, tv personalities, idols, singers, actors but this field of profession always fall behind just bcs not famous as others profession.
I would have loved to see a special episode where the final 8 had to do the convenience store challenge. Edward Lee's skill in tofu hell is an inspiration for every true cook out there to risk breaking new ways while balancing the flavours. For me both of the finalists have won in their own respective way.
For me tofu challenge is the real finals. I still think Chef Edward is the real winner 😊
Found my new crush TRIPLE STAR!!!! He's just GORGEOUS in every way possible!
scottiey is very humble😭 it should be him & chef edward who go to the final
I need netflix to compile all triple star screen time 😂
He's all over TikTok with female viewers simping 😅 don't blame them.though
@@kerrim4799 i knoww even though i dont have tiktok but i know his impact on the female community 😂
Triple star was honestly so talented i was so impressed how he did manage to create new dishes specially in the semi finals, and I can't lie the semi final was like the face off of genius chefs between Edward lee / triple star and chef jung ji sun i forgot his name 😅 i was like wooow
Cooking Maniac seems like such a great and funny guy, I hope we get to see more of him in the future!
I’m kinda curious why (pretty boy) Triple Star was grouped with the two ladies while the five guys were all together 😆
One thing for sure!
They are all so talented and they deserve all the love and respect. 🎉❤
I am so happy to see their restaurants get full booked
I love that they all dressed up in black and white!
Chef choi hyun seok is so damn well for his age😂🤭👍
Edward Lee ❤
auntie omakase #1 is SLAYING omg
Make chef Lee a judge in season 2
I love how they wore black and white differently as opposed with the show's theme haha
Chef Edward Lee is the best! No doubt!
Chef edward is so cool and cute
Best show of 2024! Please bring back both judges for the next season!
CHEF CHOI WON MY HEART😂❤
I'd like some of the Alumni to be guest judges as well for Season 2, especially Chef Eddie, Kwon Seong Joon (Napoli Matfia) and Scott (Triple Star). Geez Ed's Tofu shenanigans made me laugh and just be awed.
Edward lee was MVP for me
Chef Edward Lee & Triple Star 🤩🙌
Okay, I finally like Napoli Matfia now. He seemed so full of himself on the show, but it was nice to see him show respect and appreciation for Chef Edward Kyun Lee here.
Napoli Maftia and Cooking Maniac are my fave since the show started and luckily Maftia grind it
yeah, the editing really did chef choi dirty lmao
Triple star and chef edwards humility !!! Esp chef edward yall people have no idea how big he os ,and no question to his talent and love for cooking .. ❤❤❤❤❤
overall, this is the real show. it was entertaining, thrilling, and surely impacts all of the viewers. woaaah congrats to the all team and crew! I'd like to watch the next series hahaha pleaseee make the next show with all of the chefs! esp the top 20
@@naomifelix4406 napoli matfia won fair and square. period.
@@naomifelix4406 Why are you talking like your assumptions are the truth? Your assumptions are not even logical. Please think before you talk in the future.
to be honest, I'm not sure how Chef Matfia would have done if he were in the Tofu hell challenge. Don't get me wrong I think he is super talented, but I feel his Italian style might not have done as well if he needed to do that challenge.
@@CinaSung Doesn't really matter because he won the first round. Why are people judging based on stuff a contestant didn't need to go through?
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THE ENGLISH SUBSSS!!!! I HAVE BEEN WAITINGGGG 🤧💞✨
i love watching cooking competition reality shows. ive watched them for like decades. and this is clearly the best one ive seen. im excited about season 2. but i dont think it can compare to season 1. how can you get a cast like that again. they already took the best ones lol.
napoli matfia is great, but the the REAL final is indeed Tofu battle. you can't resist how intense the battle between edward lee and triple star did. and despite his personal life scandal, he (triple star) is a GREAT and talented chef.
Chef edward as judge for season 2 pls!!!! Hes too humble . Omg .. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
tofu misson is fucking crazy!! Big respect to all chef🙌🏻
That episode makes me hate tofu😂
finally with english sub! s1 is super good. i love that they still meet after the show and became friends irl :)
great show :). if there is a next season, the grand finale should be a three-round challenge. appetizer, entree, dessert. i think that would really push the chefs to their maximum potential and would get rid of any argument that the tofu challenge was harder (even though it probably was).
The only cooking show I would watch again and again. Very refreshing concept and great cast as well!
