I grew up south of Buffalo, roughly 70 or so miles from Niagara Falls proper, but would go there several times over the years. I've been to both sides many times. If you're talking about just the Falls itself, the Canadian side offers a much better view, whereas the American side you can get closer to the Falls overall. Cave of the Winds puts you directly between Niagara and Bridal Veil Falls, whereas Goat Island, Three Sisters Island, and Terrapin Point get you to the very edge of all three waterfalls. So from that perspective maybe the American side gets a slight edge. But if you're talking about all the things surrounding the actual Falls, it's difficult to put the American side ahead of the Canadian side. Clifton Hill is full of "touristy" things that are both good for families or an adult getaway. And even just off of Clifton Hill the rest of Niagara Falls, Ontario is a nice area. Niagara Falls, NY on the other hand looks like it could be the setting for an apocalyptic tv show or movie. But then just a short drive from Niagara Falls, Ontario is Niagara On The Lake, which is part of the wine region of Southern Ontario and has the feel of a quaint little town full of boutique shops and wineries. Lockport, NY however is a short drive from the American side of the Falls and offers cruises on the Erie Canal and through one of the most impressive systems of canal locks anywhere in the world, raising and lowering the ships that still traverse the canal 50 feet. And for family fun, I'd rather spend a day at Niagara Amusement Park on Grand Island, NY than at Marineland in Niagara Falls, Ontario. But to each their own. So to answer the question itself, I think it really depends on what you're looking for. Both sides have plenty to offer, the American side (more specifically the areas surrounding NF) might offer a bit more in terms of family entertainment, whereas the Canadian side might be a bit more adult oriented with some family activities available.
Having lived just outside of Buffalo for the majority of my life and visited the falls many times I would recommend the Canadian side if you can only do one. I haven't been to the surrounding area on the American side in decades and the food truck addition seemed cool. When I was a kid there was a bus pass that you could get on the Canadian side and stop at the butterfly conservancy and such as well as stops along the falls. The Canadian side also has a better winter festival and holiday decorations. Even now every time I see an ad on FB for something that sounds really cool in the falls it's invariably on the Canadian side. 🙄 -Aimee
We've heard that a lot! They were already advertising their holiday events when we were there in September and they looked so cool. That's awesome that you could get the bus pass and visit the butterfly conservancy! The food trucks were a nice touch on the US side... the Peruvian chicken was delish!!! Thanks for watching, guys!! -Katelyn
I live an hour from Niagara Falls, US side. I love the Canadian side more. We stay at Fallsview Rotel and casino. Rooms overlook the falls. At night they light up the falls. Love it.
Based on the comments, Canada side does seem to be the most popular! We need to come back and stay at one of the hotels over there! Thanks for watching. 👍 - Howard
I like the Canadian side better, it looks like people can enjoy the view without getting soaked wet, I love the parks with the miniature houses, the greenery and butterflies.❤❤
Having lived in Niagara Falls, Ontario area for a number of years (plus also originally not from Canada so I have had an unbiased opinion aswell) I would say the US side is the better side. That being said it's purely because I can't stand the craziness of Clifton Hill (sadly you didn't show that part) and much prefer the peacefulness of Goat Island anyday. Just a personal choice though and if anyone has kids I highly recommend Clifton Hill. Our kids always loved it there.
We also believe the USA side is much more immersive compared to Canada! Canada may have a more 360 view of the Falls, but you can really connect with the power of the waterfalls on the US side with Cave of the Winds!
The Canada side is far more impressive. Stay in a hotel, we recommend any floor above 25! The views are absolutely and there are lights on the falls at night. Spectacular.
They are both unique. I think the American side is more family-friendly, and cheaper, and the night views of the falls, from the observation deck cannot be beat. During the day, however, I think the views are better, on the Canadian side. Definitely, if you can, do both.
Hornblower wasn't running the day we visited the Canada side! We did get some shots of it when we took the Maid of the Mist cruise on the US side. Thanks for watching, Joanne! 👍 -Howard
Canadian side is great but very much commercialized. If you want a full on expensive dinner (pay a Niagara Falls tourist tax - look it up), go to Ripley’s believe it or not, Hersheys store, it’s a lot of fun, do it. If you want to sit and relax. Go to a park, go in the caves at the falls, NY is a home run side. The parks at NY make it just amazing.
Having grown up in Buffalo and having visited the Falls at least 50 times probably, since I used to work in Niagara Falls on the American side, the locals always tell tourists that the Canadian side is much better, so we are not biased. The Canadian side is kept up much better and Niagara Falls, NY, is quite trashy and is not that attractive due to being run down.
First time we saw the falls was in December. Beautiful with the snow. Loved it so much we made it a point to see the falls in spring, summer, and fall. Great experience and memories.
One tip at Niagara Falls, the parking is outrageous expensive. Go park at the casino downtown. Walk into the casino and do some window shopping for 15 min. Then walk out and the falls on the American side is only about a quarter mile walk from the casino. The casino parking is free. You go into the casino so security sees you go in, they dont remember you going in so when you come out they don't know if you had a car or staying at the hotel. Also must see America's first state park on the lake Niagara Falls State Park. Not too far east is a small town whuch has a Erie Canal Discovery museum at the locks on the Erie Canal in the town of Lockport, NY. Great video!
Having just visited Niagra this week July 2-4 2023. We chose the American side for several reasons. We didn’t have to go through customs and or aquire passports, we were able to stay in the Giacomo right beside the falls and had free gated parking and not only can you visit the American falls but you can also go to Goat island and see the horseshoe falls. In addition the cave of the winds and observation deck seemed better than any experience that was on Canadian side. Needless to say we loved it and can’t see anything we missed really by not going to the other side 🤷🏼♂️
My ancestors in Buffalo,NY helped pay for that power plant. Buffalo was lighted fully with power under ground for the World's Fair. My grandfather in his senior years worked in the power regulator facility.
I’ve always heard the Canadian side is prettier but would love to see both sides like you did. Have enjoyed watching your travels across Canada! You’re the first RVer that I’ve seen go across Canada when they returned from Alaska! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Sandra! We're glad you've been along for the journey! Don't worry, lots more adventures to share from Europe AND the US this fall! Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. 👍 - Howard
Actually there are Chipotle outlets in Toronto. My son’s absolute favourite. I lived in Toronto until last March and made day trips and weekend outings to the falls countless times. It never gets old to me. The boat ride is the best, either side. The Canadian side has the better view as you can see the US side, but I like that the US side is more park like. The Falls in winter is something else.
We used to bicycle around the American side and falls. Missing the boating on the Niagara River and Lake Erie. I was born and lived in Buffalo most of my life. Loved to ski and boat, etc. the area. Good university education and career too.
Thank you for visiting our home! We are passionate at Explore Niagara to showcase all of the amazing people, businesses and stories that are held on the USA side of Niagara Falls
I visited Niagara Falls years ago in my youth on a classic American family road trip. We took the Maid of the Mist tour and I remember how wet you get. My sandals were never the same. From the comments seems like Canadian side wins! Thanks for showing us both. Hope you had a great time in Florence, look forward to seeing that footage. ✌🏻
Thanks, Tara! Niagara is such a bucket list trip for so many people, but most stay on one side or the other. Each side of Niagara Falls offers something unique! Now, we can't wait to share our Italy travels, starting with Florence. Just wait until you see what we find elsewhere in Italy, too! 👍 - Howard
There are 14 Chipotle Mexican Grills in Ontario - 13 in the Toronto area. :-) As per what side, unfortunately you did not experience all of the attractions along the Canadian side up river on the way to the Niagara Parkway. When those are included, there is no doubt the Canadian side is far superior. Then there is the adjacent Niagara-on-the-Lake (one of the prettiest towns in Canada) and Niagara Wine Country with all it's beautiful (some very palatial) wineries. The cruise boat(s) on the Canadian side are called Hornblower. Maid-of-the-Mist had the contract on the Canadian side for decades but lost the contract when it came up for renewal.
agreed...I live here....so have experienced both sides....the American side is doable in one day...the Canadian side, you need a few days to experience it all.....the "naturalness" as well as the "commercial stuff) of the Niagara River is best experienced with a ride down the Niagara Parkway on the Canadian side,,,,drive down into NIagara on the Lake or up into Fort Erie....both ways are a spectacular drive....parking passes are available for longer durations....so now you have a reason to return!
Having been to the American side three times, and the US side twice, Canada wins all day, every day. Not only did you not experience the boat ride, you skipped all of Clifton Hill and everything beyond. Restaurants, amusement centers, tons of hotels (even a bed & breakfast row), parks, zip lining, etc galore. You need to go back and experience the whole thing. The US side has almost no restaurants, zero amusement places (unless you count the casino), far fewer hotels (none actually on the falls), and the same one or two T-shirt sales people run the dozen or so shirt booths. I spoke to one of them who told me that. Also, the homes surrounding the park are nearly dilapidated. I feel bad for local residents, because there's so much potential.
Canada is more beautiful.A little pricey, but you also have everything accessible to you.But of course I’m biased aren’t I. I’m Canadian 😉.I think it is very impressive, just my opinion.I could watch that beauty all day. Thank you for this.❤️🇨🇦.
The parking costs on the US side were definitely more reasonable, which is a little surprising being a tourist hot spot in NY. It really is all so beautiful!! So glad you enjoyed it! ❤ -Katelyn
Steven, you're definitely on the majority side, lots of comments about Canada! You should come back, the power plant and also the Table Rock dining options have opened recently! 👍 - Howard
On the Canadian side go see the Butterfly conservatory and the cute town of Niagara on the Lake. Quite a few wineries that does tasting along the way too. Don't cross the border in downtown too busy, use the northern crossing about 3 or 4 miles north lot quicker.
On the American side, I believe you should have gone to Niagara State Park on Goat Island where you can stand right next to the top of the falls (both the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls) for a better comparison between the two sides... That said, the Canadian side is probably better for the overall views. Nice video! Thanks!
Debra, great advice for Goat Island! We didn't get to visit that part of the USA side during this trip, but agree from other trips that the views from there are great. Thanks for watching and hope you'll continue on the journey with us! 👍 -Howard
Hey guys. I really enjoy watching your video. My husband and I are going to Niagara Falls for the first time in week of 4th of July. Thanks for sharing
The American side is more touristy? Sounds like you didn't visit Clifton Hill on the Canadian side which has arcades, haunted houses, mini golf, bars and restaurants etc. Can't get more touristy than that
Just got back from the falls Canadian side. Looks like things are really starting to change to become more modern. Even the Imax theatre that was in this video has been knocked down to make way for the new. Still needs a little more work, but I think in time things will get better. A great free attraction I found by foot (so people would probably pay for parking) is the Niagara Glen cliff hiking trails that lead down to the Niagara River and down and around the whirlpool. There is a map you should take a picture of next to the metal staircase down a few flights of stories to some great hiking trails and rock climbing (so I saw).
I am planning on going to Niagara Falls this coming May 2024; so I am looking for tips and advice and I am glad to see your video. Thank you so much for sharing this well info both sides of the most beautiful falls🙏❤
Glad you found us and the episode was helpful! Please keep us posted on your trip to Niagara and hope you'll continue on the journey with us. 👍 - Howard
Hard to believe they shut the falls down once for repairs! That's A lot of water! My dearly departed wife was raised in Buffalo. The stories of Lake Effect snow and the windows frozen over INSIDE her bedroom windows! That's cold!
If you had to pick only one, you can't go wrong with the Canadian side, if for no other reason it provides a better view of all of the falls. That said, there is much to do on either side.
I live in NF on the Canadian side, it's nice to see it from a tourists perspective. I wish you covered the zip line. There is so many things to do on this side. I've never been to the US side. I'll have to go see it for myself.
Thanks, Cash! We're so glad you're along for the journey, season two is starting out strong: Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas! Can't wait to hear what you think of the series this year. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. 👍 - Howard
As you know, Superman II was filmed at Table Rock House. If you think the American side is more touristy, you obviously skipped Clifton Hill a short walk from the Horseshoe Falls. It has a LOT of museums and arcades, restaurants, on the hill itself, and around the corner at the bottom and both corners at the top. Still, I'm glad you got to see some of what's left on the American side after the city tore the entire downtown to the ground in the '70s with almost nothing to replace it (except new things that were since torn down too, like the Wintergarden, a skyscraper-sized greenhouse full of tropical jungle plants now completely gone as if it had never existed). The first of two proximal causes for the New York side's decimation (the other being the city's "urban renewal" demolition of the '70s) was the catastrophic collapse of Niagara Falls' power plant in the late '50s, which caused the cost of electricity here to skyrocket, driving industry away and costing 10,000 jobs almost immediately, followed soon by 10,000 more, and more after that. Next to the Niagara Falls Aquarium at the top of the gorge not far from the observation deck is an elevator that takes you down to the ruins of the power plant. Free, as I recall. You were right about the Cave of the Winds only because you experienced the Crow's Nest. In addition to missing the American power plant ruins, I'm sorry you also skipped the Niagara Power Vista directly north of the city limits, where you'd see the new (1960-ish) Niagara power project, but that tour of the closed plant on the Canadian side might be an adequate substitute. I'm also sorry you didn't try real authentic original Buffalo wings, and classic beef on weck, while you were here, or Niagara's unique and amazing pizza or steak subs, but Mother Cluckers is great chicken. We also have the best char-grilled hot dogs and frozen custard anywhere.
Heading to Niagara Falls this weekend and we’ll be staying on the US side. My partner doesn’t have his passport so we’re going to do as much as we can here. I might try to cross over solo for a half day and come back but it was great to watch your video.
Live in Rochester, so have visited both sides many times. No favorite side as they both have multiple unique views. My single favorite spot is on the Canadian side where you stand right next to the edge (your “right here” moment). Travel safe.
Exactly, Bob!! Both sides have so much to offer and you really can have a completely different experience at both. Yes! That was amazing to be SO close to the edge! Thanks so much for watching! 😊 -Katelyn
We have been to Niagara falls three times. We just stopped at the US falls park. Thats all it was at the time; and twice on the Canadian side. 1981 and 1994. We checked out the US side in 1981. The Canadian side has more to do and see. By your video the US has stepped it up. We took the Canadian boat each time. In 1981 they had the old rubber rain coats. Is the cable car over the whirlpool still operating ? I think it is time to go back !! NOTE: Add to bucket list.
@@NewstateNomads That was over 20 years ago, they may have phased it all out by now. I worked for Dayton Power and Light in Dayton Ohio. The downtown area used both AC and DC (mostly for the elevator systems) and some lighting and the trolley (bus) system used DC from overhead lines. This also may have changed by now. The old downtown water wheel was gone before I ever got there. They used large AC motors driving humongous DC Generators to provide the DC customers when I worked there.
Just realized how far back your vlogs are as Kevin and Ruth have been in Europe for some time now. When I was at the falls, I went to both sides and found both have a lot to offer. The American side was more tacky than the Canadian side, but I didn't pay anything like you did for parking. Of course, it has been a while. Enjoying your journey.
Gene, you're right about that! We were lucky to catch Kevin and Ruth right before they flew back to Europe. This episode was filmed at the end of September. Also, parking can definitely add up! We paid more to park extra close on the Canadian side, but we were under a time crunch that day and felt it was worth it for the ease of access. 👍 - Howard
If ( CDN side ) you have never done the parkway from Niagara Falls to Niagara on the Lake you are missing something ! I enjoy it much more then Niagara Falls itself
Canada side is like Vegas there’s lights it’s fun the New York side looks like a lemony snicket book cover it’s like sad tree with no leaves on it and you go what happened like why is that side so much worse the Canada side that’s the side
Lisa, it's OK to have a favorite and you're definitely not alone saying the Canada side! 👍😂 Thanks so much for watching and hope you'll continue on the journey with us. -Howard
I use to think that the Canadian side was best, and then I became a tour guide giving tours on both sides. After doing the tour guide bit I decided that I fell in love more with the American side. The Canadian side is too commercial while more of the natural aspect is more preserved on the American side. Too bad you didn't get to enjoy the relaxing beauty of Three Sisters Islands on the American side. The observation deck on the American side is my favorite view of the Falls.
The cave of the winds is better than anything on the Canadian side, and the American boat goes a little closer to the falls. Also, the park on the American side is beautiful to walk through. But overall the Canadian side is much better. There's just way more to do on the Canada side and it isn't right next to a crime ridden ghetto.
I just can't decide from watching your excellent video, sooooo I guess we'll just have to do both when we make it up that way. I'm also gonna speculate that you may be headed to Richmond (we are from VA and I heard you say Richmond on another video, plus your accent sounds like home to us, we're from Stafford). Thanks for sharing a fun look at two sides of the same coin.👍
Alas, there is not a Chipotle in Hawaii either. I was, of course, craving it when I was stuck in the commercial hell hole that is Waikiki and was surprised there wasn't one at least there. Nope. There is a bit of a knock-off independent place there but it was not nearly as good.
We’ve been to the Canadian side a few years back, very nice. Never been to the American side yet, but hope to visit there someday. Hey, you know Canada doesn’t stop there. The East coast is beautiful too. Maybe next time you can visit that area. 👍❤️🇨🇦
We absolutely can't wait to return and explore more of eastern Canada! Unfortunately we were running out of time to catch our flights to Europe, otherwise we would have loved to continue exploring. Next time for sure! 👍 - Howard
When, exactly did you go? My apologies if I missed it. We just went to the Canadian side on a weekend in mid July and it was soooooo crowded! We were constantly waiting in long lines, fighting to get a view everywhere…you seemed not to have that issue. If we were the first in line when an attraction opened we had some luck but after that it was very crowded. Journey Behind the Falls was downright claustrophobic with all of the people squeezed in that tiny tunnel waiting for a turn to get close to the water. We rated the zip line top of our list probably because it had fewer people than most other attractions. Still, the falls were beautiful. I’d like to try going to the American side this time during mid week and an off time so we can enjoy it without the stress.
Michele, sounds like a tough time to enjoy it with all those crowds! We visited in September, and generally speaking we recommend trying if possible to go to popular destinations during their "shoulder" seasons. For most, that's avoiding summer, and trying for May or September/October. The challenge becomes shorter hours for attractions so you have to research more before visiting instead of the frequency of their peak season. Hope you can also see the Canada side during a less busy time, both sides are absolutely beautiful and worth it! Thanks for watching and hope you'll continue on the journey with us! 👍 -Howard
If you like wax museum and strange museum the Canadian side so many more museums to see Guiness World, Movie Wax, Frankistein ect. As for visiting the 3 falls itself. The best views of all three falls can only be seen from the Canadain Side. The American side is well worth visiting the History Wax Museum is cool, and walking beside the American Falls was my Wendalynn favorite thing to do in all of Niragara Falls. Even for someone scared on stairs & heights she loved. Canadian Side is where can walk up behind the Horseshoe falls. Skylon tower view on the Canadian side is where you look down on all the water Falls. That my favorite view of the falls. Both American & Canadian side offer the same boat tours boating by the American & Bridel Falls & getting close to Horseshoes Falls. So do see both sides, but there is lots more to do on Canadian side. Both side have good resturants. We loved Rainforest Cafe!! in Canada.
Just to visit either side would be a dream come true. Seeing I am still yearning for a Canadian experience- that would be more on the cards. I keep dreaming about my possibilities. Right now Europe is fine. So much to explore still. Happy and safe travels. See you next week. 👍 🥳 🇳🇱 🙋♀️ 🇳🇿
Thanks as always for watching! Canada has so much to offer, but you are 100% right about Europe. We can't wait to explore more (and hopefully meetup!) on our next trip. 👍 - Howard

Ask the locals about the "Love Canal" which drains into the Niagara River and all of it's toxins which causes the mist to be extremely toxic

Both all the way I am actually a dual national ! So proud of exploring all Niagara on both sides 🇨🇦 🇺🇸
Absolutely!
Canadian side is the best. You didn’t do the “Hornblower” boat. Great video though. Yes we charge TOO much for parking.
Hornblower wasn't running the day we visited the Canada side! We did get some shots of it when we took the Maid of the Mist cruise on the US side. Thanks for watching, Joanne! 👍 -Howard
If you visit again, be sure to check out Cave of the Winds on the USA side where you can touch the waterfall!

You can just hear the sheer sound of those falls and it’s crazy! Loved this video! We’ve never been to Niagara Falls so this was fun to watch 😊
Y'all have to visit Niagara Falls! Such a powerful force of nature, particularly from Behind the Falls. Glad you enjoyed the episode! 👍 - Howard
Lol I use to work at the maid of the mist so it is always interesting to see others perspectives
👍 - Howard
Best tour of NF I’ve seen yet:)
Aww, thank you SO much Eric!!! That means a lot 🙂 -Katelyn
Absolutely Ed this episode. What a unique way to experience the Falls from both sides
Thanks, Darlene! We were so excited to share both sides this week!
Right! They missed so much. I think tunnel vision was involved.
Wow the Journey Behind the Falls in Canada looked incredible!
Definitely makes a hard decision of which side is better for us! US and Canada each offer unique elements and perspectives of the falls. 👍 -Howard
I think the Canada side 🤔 it looked beautiful, all the different places they had set up to see it ....
Canada side does have amazing viewpoints, Pam! No doubt about that. Thanks for watching. 👍 - Howard
Canadian side by far. Views of both falls is far superior from Canada. Also, the Niagara Parks in Canada go on for miles along the river.
❤ -Katelyn
Canadian side is the best and we visited both sides in 2019!
👍 - Howard
Are you going to Canada? I’m going to Niagara Falls US in July 🎉 Have Fun!
Thank you for the tours😊I’m doing the US side next month.🎉 Definately packing a raincoat and flip flops😂
We stayed on the Canadian side it was amazing had hotel with room facing the falls
That sounds amazing, Steven! I can only imagine how great the views must be from the hotels up on the hill. Thanks for watching. 👍 - Howard
I have been in both sides and I will definitely recommend both. Great video.
I was there a zillion years ago, still remember the Maid of the Mist event. WOW place.
Hard to believe they shut the falls down once for repairs! That's A lot of water! My dearly departed wife was raised in Buffalo. The stories of Lake Effect snow and the windows frozen over INSIDE her bedroom windows! That's cold!
So beautiful! I’ve never seen the Canadian side so definitely putting it on my list of places to see! ❤️
You should, Kim! It's absolutely gorgeous and amazing how close you can get to the falls! 👍 - Howard
I live in Niagara Falls, New York. All I can say is this city has reached rock bottom.
I think the us side appears to be more exciting 🤩
If you had to pick only one, you can't go wrong with the Canadian side, if for no other reason it provides a better view of all of the falls.
That said, there is much to do on either side.
Unquestionably the Canadian side is better as you have better view of both falls.
Stay in Canada, and take a day trip to see the falls in the US. Fishing in the fall in the lower Niagara river is world-class fishing.
I’d recommend Canadian side👍 I visited the American side years ago I was not impressed.
Another vote for the Canadian side! Any particular favorites or tips for visiting that side? Thanks for watching! 👍 -Howard
I live in NF on the Canadian side, it's nice to see it from a tourists perspective. I wish you covered the zip line. There is so many things to do on this side. I've never been to the US side. I'll have to go see it for myself.
Awesome presentation guys … Love 🇦🇺Australia. We’re booked for December 🥶Let’s roll .
Cannot wait for your “season 2 Christmas in the south”… Last year was fantastic… I’m sure this year will be equally as good!!!
Thanks, Cash! We're so glad you're along for the journey, season two is starting out strong: Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas! Can't wait to hear what you think of the series this year. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. 👍 - Howard
Been there twice a recommended Canadian side American got a long way to go
As you know, Superman II was filmed at Table Rock House.
They definitely should have tried real buffalo wings and beef on weck! My favorite is Bar Bills.
Heading to Niagara Falls this weekend and we’ll be staying on the US side. My partner doesn’t have his passport so we’re going to do as much as we can here. I might try to cross over solo for a half day and come back but it was great to watch your video.
I’m going there in October to see the area when the leaves change colors
Great fun as usual kids. Looking forward to the next episode.
😊 -Katelyn
Definitely very unique experiences to be had on each side of the Falls!
Thanks for sharing your experience 💞
Why pick? Just enjoy both!😁😉
We have been to Niagara falls three times.
As a very proud America... Canada... Canada wins all the awards on this one.
ONLY because of the power plat museum, the Canadian side.
Dave, that's super cool about the DC-powered equipment still in use. What city? I agree based on that you would LOVE the Canadian side. 👍 - Howard
👍 - Howard
Thank you both! Just beautiful falls! A bit wet!!!💦
You're quite welcome 😊 Glad you enjoyed it! Haha yes... so much water!
What a great experience, both side seems fun and different. The food looks delicious. 😋 The boat ride is amazing, it’s a must for sure. 🙌💦
Anne & Eric
Anne & Eric, you're absolutely right, both sides have lots to offer. AND the delicious food doesn't hurt either. 😉👍 - Howard
Canadian side is better. If you get the chance, check out the niagara glen hiking trails. Just gorgeous.
Thanks, for the great tip, Mimi! I'm sure we'll be back for more exploring. If there's a particular trail you like, let us know! -Howard
Lemony Snicket 😂. Can't explain why the leaves were falling on the US side but the Canada side was still green. Weird, right? -Howard
Both side are beautiful. Thanks for power Generation system of Niagarafalls Canada 🇨🇦 station. Thanks
As I live 15 minutes from Niagara Falls in the Canadian side, I have to say it’s better! But the States has lots to offer as well!
I love the Canada one, the only one I visit😹. I love watching the edge of the fall.
The Water is very fresh - hahahaha. That was hilarious!
Soooo fresh! 😂 Glad you enjoyed the episode! 👍 -Howard
I was on the canadian side last month and it was godly.
👍 - Howard
There are 25 Chipotle restaurants in Canada. 23 are in ON. (13 in Toronto). You guys were an hour away 😂
I liked the American side. Reason being, ya'll laughed more on the American side. 😁
Haha, we sure did!! That boat ride was so fun!!!
the pounding of the water when under the falls is like no other, went there in 87
on the CANADIAN side
The amount of water in Howard’s hood 🤣 Wow! Never been to either, so no opinion from me 😬
Hahaha, so much water!!! That is definitely the most soaked we've been wearing regular clothes. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! 👍 - Howard
I came to this channel by accident. I was looking for the Oldstate Nomads.
;)
Great video. Never been to the US side - I'll have to check it out. By the way - next time you're in Ottawa, there's a Chipotle :)
ouu a new set of vloggers to binge! :D
Love Canadian side but parking/walking easier US side. Just GO!!! Right ? 💪. Hey…will you be in Tampa for super show?? A meet up? Please!!!
Exactly, Lou! Each side has its benefit for sure. Also, YES to Tampa! Hope to see you there! Here's the link to our event page: fb.me/e/1Da0ezJns
When I see that food I have a severe case of drooling.
Nice video did yall go back at night. To watch the different color lights they project on the falls??
👍 -Howard
@@NewstateNomads Thanks for your reply, advice and the fun video. Makes me want to go back more. During a less busy time, of course!
👍 - Howard
Definitely Canadian side. Enjoyed your video.
I love you guys. I am living vicariously through your travels❤️
Thanks, Mel! We're so glad you're for the journey! 👍 -Howard
I've been to both sides, and both are epic!! But if I had to choose... If I could only do one... I'd have to say Canadian!
Another vote for Canada side! Thanks, Barry! Hope you'll continue on the journey with us. 👍 -Howard
