You can use USD.
It’s possible to use USD, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Use a credit card to buy your passes & receive the daily currency exchange rate, rather than a drastically reduced rate if you use cash.
How to purchase clifton hill pass?
You can purchase it from the booth in Niagara Falls on Clifton Hill Street. It is located directly in front of the SkyWheel.
Any attraction that's on the card sells them.

We were the only ones on the ride. If there were other people with us, we wouldn't have taken video as we don't want to disturb other visitors. But when we were in there alone, we took some quick shots of it.
