G'day it's Steven from Down Under It's great that younger generations are enjoying the artistry of Madonna. This is her very first concert tour and only in the US I believe. ALL HAIL THE QUEEN OF POP!
This was live from The Virgin tour. She was so busy at this time that she didn’t have time film and official video for Dress You Up. just wait until you see how she grows as an artist throughout her career and how she changed the touring game with her Blond Ambition tour. She is a master of the stage and she always creates different arrangements for the hits and brand new choreography. She’s the best live performer of all time.
Great reaction Chase. Madonna is the most successful female artist of all time, and from 1983 - 2000 was a Global Pop culture phenomenon (note she still makes music and is currently on tour). Both songs you reacted to were from 1985 which was the year she EXPLODED on the world stage. Her best stuff (in my opinion) was from 1983 - 1997. You have to listen to her official music video LIKE A VIRGIN and MATERIAL GIRL- 2 iconic 1985 songs that catapulted her to Super Star Status. You had to be around in the 80's to know what an impact she had on our culture. She pushed all boundaries and made a huge impact on pop culture. Not bad for a small town Italian Catholic Girl who shocked the nuns as a child, questioned everything, and broke all the rules while staying disciplined, focused and continually shutting down her critics. Madonna is an icon.
In to the Groove was from 1985 and she has been putting out great music for 40 years! Never repeating herself and never consisted just an 80's pop star - she the blueprint for pop stars that followed - You'll see. She's on a hit song right now with the Weeknd and touring with her sold out Celebration tour. Go forward chronologically.
Dress You Up and Into the Groove were both released in 1985, when she had 7 singles peaking in top 5 in either US or UK. She was so busy that they could only use her Virgin Tour footage as the official music video.
Into the Groove and this version of Drees You Up are from 1985. This version is from her first tour the Virgin Tour with the Beastie Boys. The entire tour is online and it’s definitely worth the watch. I just saw her one of two sold out shows at Chase Center in SF last week. I’ve been going to her concerts since i was 17… I’m almost 54.
1984 was a great year. Madonna had fantastic music and I graduated HS that year!! Going to see her in a about 3 weeks on the Celebration Tour!! Can't wait!!🎵❤️
This was indeed a live performance with live band. There was no other video made for the song that I can recall. You are going to L O V E listening to more of her, and she has TONS to get into.
Thanks man that's the same teenager reaction in 1985, globally talking with Madonna our Queen (by the way it was "the virgin tour"). Great you like it¡
Oh boy what a journey to go through madonna's entire music catalogue ❤️❤️❤️ Just watch her performance of "Gambler" on her 1985 Virgin Tour to get another early banger 🤩
Get Into the Groove came out a year later in 1985. She got better through decades of hits and legendary performances and concert tours. As a matter of fact, she's touring now (Celebration Tour) which is a retrospective of her career and music. Thank you!
Total banger. Madonna's live performances featured choreographed dancing with nearly every number she sang. She was then and is now (if I may borrow from you) Amazing!
The last one into the groove was released in 1985 not 1990 they maybe remastered the video in 1990 or something i dont know why they put that. This is official video for dress you up but its also a clip from her very first tour
One of my favourites by her. But you're wrong - both "Into The Groove" and "Dress You Up" were hits in the same year 1985, so no six years gap between them!
More recent ( 2024 and a few years earlier) Madonna songs that you should react to are "BITCH IM MADONNA " - " BACK THAT UP TO THE BEAT" and "POPULAR". She is STILL cranking out hits!!!!!!
Live from the Like a Virgin tour. I saw this twice in Toronto. One night I had front row seats, and Madonna glanced at me and smiled. It made my day. Edit: Into The Groove was released in 1985 alongside the movie Desperately Seeking Susan
Madonna is the only super star from the 80's who is still making music and going on tours today. I have been a fan of Madonna since 1984 when I was in 4th grade. I knew when I first saw Madonna videos, Borderline and Burning Up, that she was going to be around for a long time. She was ahead of her time. A lot of female students at my school copied her styles. A lot of female teenagers throughout America copied her styles throughout the 80's. She was popular among the gay community because she was daring and she stood up for gay rights and fought against homophobia and AIDS. It was an exciting time because Madonna was always trying to come up with new trends, new music and new dancing styles. She kept people guessing what she was going to do next. She kept pushing the envelopes and pushing boundaries. Religious and conservative people hated her. The media constantly criticized Madonna back then. They said she can't sing and she is a one hit wander. They hated her even more in the early 90's when she released her Sex Book. She was shocking and controversial. She was always in the news and magazines. I still listen to Madonna's music today. She makes great high energy dance music and she also made a lot of very good ballads. The gay community have stood by Madonna and supported her throughout her career. It's not easy to remain popular in the music for a long time, most singers disappeared when the music scene changes, but Madonna manages to stay popular since the early 80's.
It was her first tour so the band started to change and she switched to female back up singers. Keep exploring her catalogue. It’s best appreciated if you work through the years in order so you can see the huge growth
Welcome to the world Madonna. She and Michael Jackson are the kings of Pop! The most successful woman in the world of music who, even at 65, continues to tour! Greetings from Tandil, Argentina! 🇦🇷🤗
This song along with rain, gambler and angel weren't on her greatest hits album. I wish dress you up and rain we're. Would love you to do lucky star, don't tell me, nothing really matters and take a bow.
No, Into The Groove and Dress You Up were hit singles in 1985. Some of the band members were retained in upcoming tours like guitarist Paul Pesco and drummer Jonathan Moffet but sadly the back up singer/dancers was replaced with new girls you'll soon discover.
Madonna’s most recent music video was dropped a few weeks ago. It’s called, Popular, with The Weekend and Playboi Carti. You should check it out. More Madonna reactions please! Thanks for posting! ✌🏻👍🏻✌🏻

You should watch the entire journey of Madonna from the beginning to really appreciate the progress she made through the years ❤
I am watching that evolution of Madonna on a channel called Our Anxious Reactions. It’s awesome!

Love that you’re reacting to Madonna as well as Abba. Please do more.

This was recorded in Detroit and I was in the 4th row. It was the only Madonna show that I ever went to. But, it began my love for live shows.

Chase she's been making music for 40 years. She's just now on her final world tour of her career, the celebration tour. She's 65 years old!
Not her final tour, she will continue to perform until the wheels fall off, she once said. ;)
@@MisterCiccone she herself said it was her final tour. Maybe she'll do select appearances on TV or something but I doubt she'll tour again
@@lamusiclover2264 I never heard that, hope not! 🙏🏼
A sensual song by the queen of pop.
Welcome to the world Madonna. She and Michael Jackson are the kings of Pop! The most successful woman in the world of music who, even at 65, continues to tour! Greetings from Tandil, Argentina! 🇦🇷🤗
From her first show and tour!!!Remember that ♥️✌️
That young Madonna phase ('84-'87) looked epic. She was in many ways the first female pop star. I cant even look at her now though, sorry 😆
This song along with rain, gambler and angel weren't on her greatest hits album.
I wish dress you up and rain we're.
Would love you to do lucky star, don't tell me, nothing really matters and take a bow.
Thanks, Chase! 👗 Madonna put out great, popular music for over 20 years... and her live performances are still great after 40 years.
As an abba fan you gotta listen to Hung Up. One of the few times abba have allowed their songs to be sampled…and it’s a banger!
Good one!❤
Please react to Madonnas " Papa don't preach" song for awareness of teenage pregnancies, "True Blue" "Like a Virgin" some favs!
Check out “Spotlight” by her….

Madonna had SWAG back in the day, all due respect to the late Whitney Houston and the late Prince, but Madonna was Michael Jackson's only real rival.
