The Carol Burnett Show has so many funny skits. Great show to dive into. The Carol Burnett Show was hysterical and ran for 11 seasons from 1967 to 1978.

It was like this every week on that show. Just insanely funny. Nothing like it on TV anymore. Other great vids of this show to look at too.

The best part of The Carol Burnett Show was when the cast members cracked up and couldn't contain their laughter. This skit is almost completely improvised, so Harvey Korman, the guy int the chair, had no idea what Tim Conway was going to do or say. I think this sketch is way too long, but the last half is the best, and it's a classic of TV.

was lucky enough to have seen them in the mid 70s. one of the best shows I've ever been to. mostly because they were able to reproduce their music live, just as it sounded on their albums.

When you asked “what did she do with her voice right there?” It’s her vibrato. Whitney had a magnificent vibrato. She used it in every register she sang-from her lower register to her head voice she used it. Whitney had complete control of her instrument. But to truly understand how gifted Whitney was you’d have to listen to her live vocals. There are so many phenomenal live performances like I Am Changing (San Francisco 1986 audio only) to her medley of Lover Man/My Man/All The Man I Need, to A Quiet Place, One Song, He, I Believe…the list goes on and on. Everyone wants ti say she’s a pop diva or a RnB diva but Whitney was first and foremost a gospel singer..she never sang a song the same way twice. There’s hours and hours of audio and video of her singing live. You should do yourself a favor and listen…be warned you’ll be covered in goosebumps

Got to see her live about 5 years ago (opening for Heart, if you can believe it) --- an AMAZING show. Let me tell you a great song she played in concert: "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)" ... It was a real crowd-pleaser. You should check that one out. :-)

the esthetic for this particular tour was darker which I loved but in each tour she does, she arranges the songs to tell a story, like a play there are acts. She always performs everything differently, doesn't like to repeat herself, so the meaning of a song may change to fit the show but the message/meaning behind what she does is never anything negative or dark. I recommend checking out some of her entire shows as it's easier to appreciate these kinds of performances in the context of the entire show. She puts on amazing shows and just broke the record last week for largest audience for a stand alone concert, in history for any artist and she did that at 65 fkn years old.

I loved when this came out in 1979 when I was a little ten years old boy Donna fan. Donna has been my all-time favorite singer ever since then. Love Barbra too. She's probably my number two or three favorite female singer at this point in time. I feature Donna on my UA-cam channel every Sunday.
