These people need to go back to some of his earlier videos where he is lifting up large logs using a Hi-Lift jack (dangerous, but he's being careful) because it's the only thing he has.

@@wranglerstar A side by side can't do much that a pickup can't do though. So a side by side normally has a dump bed. But it would only take a few minutes to unload if it didnt. A dump bed trailer that can hold five yards of material is going to take a good portion of the day to unload. You're not gonna do that by hand. Your time is too valuable. So it seems to me a dump trailer is overall much more useful than a side by side. It seems to me that you could do without the side by side but maybe not the dump trailer.
Don’t know, or care, if you got sponsored by Iron Bull, but that is a nice trailer. For my business and farm a 5x8 made more sense 17 years ago. Might have to upgrade. Personal opinion is that a dump trailer is a good investment for the handyman/ professional homeowner. It allows you to do many more things than just a pickup. Or at least makes them easier.
Cody, don't stand between the truck and dump trailer when you're dumping. Things can get really bad really quick. Stay as far away from that as possible. That said, that looks like a lot of fun! Godspeed!

I know this is going to be strange but thought I should share. I wish I had soil like that where I am. My soil is thick clay just mere inches below grass, let me tell you, not fun at all to dig by hand. So watching someone gently turn the earth by hand or machine, spurs a strange envy inside.
To keep those windows clean, I'd recommend a portable pure water brush system, with good skill you can be done in no time and use the system for all your outdoor window cleaning needs.
I have a hidden corner on my property that is a dirt and brush dump. I value every inch of my property and even though it unseen from living spaces it is always on my mind some day I need to clean that area up. The green house for Mrs W is fantastic.
With all the cut down trees and brush, also having the excavator to dig it with you should start a huge hugelkultur bed and let all that brush grow something great.
Cody. I just bought a John Deere 35G excavator similar size to yours. and the same dump trailer. I have had some nervous moments loading and unloading. Video tips for safe loading and unloading this setup. If you want examples of what not to do I have some exciting moments you can contrast.
Cody when you did your video on the construction of the green house yesterday ? The absolute first thing I noticed was the nice leveling of the soil and landscaping rather than the green house itself. NICE !!
You're a brave man working that close to the new green house lol. All it takes is a muscle twitch and an oh chit moment happens. Running the 303 is a lot better than the backhoe on the tractor so much smoother best of all the 303 doesn't have backward controls 🤣

a solar panel would be you friend on that trailer, so the battery is always up and ready, i would put it on a stake and put in a stake pocket so it ez to remove.

Cody, ya'll should should consider getting a PTO chipper for loose branches and brush like that. We have a WoodMaxx WM-8H and it has by far been our most used implement. You will never run out of uses for woodchips.

I have a buddy that has a trailer just like that but different brand. Lets me use it from time to time. The dump bed option is great for me when I am getting wood to split for the stove. Great video sir. I quite like the machinery only sound. Always great music selections too! 🤙

When I buy myself a dump trailer, it will definitely be a low one like yours. My FIL has one, but the bed is up atleast 3 feet off the ground. After using both, I don't know why he bought such a tall one! Keep up the great work Wranglerstar! You're a real inspiration!
The taller ones let you dump a taller pile with less spread. The lower profile ones can't dump an entire load without driving forward several feet. The taller ones are also wider because they go out over the wheels. That would be the two perks of the taller ones. I prefer the low profile ones.

When dumping, back the trailer up before pulling forward and the pile will have a smaller footprint.
