I've been in the nutrition and human physiology for around 20 years and biology and I never usually meet people in this field who have the capacity to. think for themselves so congrats. When I see dieticians suggest lean protein and low fat and limit saturated fat, I realize they are the ones that can't think for themselves
I was a part of the Harvard Nurses study and after my own health problems resolved after going keto+ I realized what a farce it was. Who can tell how many cups of something they eat in a certain period of time. I wanted to write and tell them but never had the courage. Hope they see this😂. Have followed Zoe for some years and trust her a lot more!!!!!

My sister just diagnosed with autoimmune…..muscle wasting from an extreme anti-diabetes diet void if meat and fat! Mastering Diabetes program. I’m devastated for her as she followed it to a tee meanwhile becoming malnourished and now an “incurable disease”.
I was vegan for six and a half years. I watched a lot of UA-cam videos from vegan doctors and they were pushing 300 g of fiber a day and I believed them and I did it I've been carnivore now for 19 months. My life is changed for the better when I was growing up in the '70s we basically ate a carnivore diet
I was brought up in the 70s and we ate plenty of animal products at every meal, it wasnt considered a complete meal without. We had even used to eat homemade burgers or fish for breakfast if there was leftover from dinner. Nobody was obese in those days like they are today. I sadly listened to the health advice in the 80s of cut out red meat and animal fat and ate a huge amount more fruit and veg, much less meat. I can look back and see my health decline from then. I've just recovered from multiple deficiency and a laundry list of health issues via carnivore. I've now taken up sprinting which I haven't done for nearly 40 years due to joint and muscle pain.
@@Beatrice-nx5ld Considering that we can't break down cellulose, considering that the only organ which a long time ago used to digest fibre (the appendix) is completely unnecessary( we can live just fine without it) the recommendation for humans is exactly 0 grams. We may be the only species who are constantly trying to eat what we can't digest (fiber) yet this abnormality is endorsed by nutritionist's "recommendation". Where's the logic?
@@edy3569how about fruit? Our bodies can break down fructose. I went fruit/ raw over the summer trying to get inflammation down and it worked but started losing hair .... so abruptly stopped and now all over the place trying to figure out how to heal and get right.
I encountered the Harcombe diet in 2014 trying to lose weight at the time. I did not expect it would also resolve my GERD, frequent migraines, bloating and gassiness, edema in my legs, arthritic pains on my lower back, shoulders and knees, pre-diabetes, and plantar fasciitis. This brought me down the rabbit hole of nutrition as I realized and thought, “What was I putting into my body that was actually an assault instead of nourishment?’. I was a medical doctor by education when I was still in the Philippines, (came to US and practiced as a nurse) so I do have a pretty good grasp of the scientific explanations that answered a lot of my questions. I now have a pretty good collection of nutrition books. I have come to realize that my main issue was sugar and gluten (my father had a bakery and so I craved baked goods when I left Philippines, so I resorted to home baking, which was nostalgic to me.). Being Asian, rice is also a staple. I still slip into wanting baked goods, rice and chocolates from time to time. But feeling the awful side effects make regret having them. I am just glad that I know how I can reverse these issues. I have also decided to fire my PCP who has always wanted to put me on statin, when I don’t really worry about my cholesterol levels, especially that we raise our own meat animals. I have not tried carnivore diet and I only started to listen to yt vids about it, but I am willing to try at least one month of it. I honestly feel that it’s gonna be easier since I won’t have to worry about veggies. We have 3 freezers of homegrown pastured meats, and I eat any part of it including brain if I could get it. I only wish I could get all of the organs from the slaughterhouse (USDA apparently has some restrictions on slaughterhouses). BTW, I quit nursing when they mandated the flu shot to us, plus the C vax. I now work at home in tech, on a project involving healthcare.

What a testimony! You’ve been through a LOT! Good luck to you when you make your lifestyle switch to animal based eating. Grains are toxic and I know how you feel about the cravings. My baking days are less often now (only for family when the request it) and when I do bake I source all ingredients, including pesticide free flours, but I no longer eat them. Thank you for sharing🖖🏽
Give carnivore 6 months, start keto, you don't want togo carnivore 100% at the beginning to ensure gut transition, with yoghurts, cheese, cage free eggs, lots of Himalayan sea salt mixed with grass fed butter, check Bart Kay on this, also watch Sally Norton on oxalate dumping, which you may well go through on carnivore, dermal cream and ice cold showers saved me
@@pixelmasque going good now, on my 5th month. The biggest issue I had was the initial 2 weeks - diarrhea and electrolyte imbalance/leg edema. No more bloating, BP and blood sugars controlled. The bowel movements have stabilized now I do dirty carnivore from time to time (like adding garlic or onion, or using homegrown/homecanned tomatoes). The only remaining issue is a patch of eczema on my foot which started during carni, so maybe oxalate dumping…I don’t know. I make my own soaps from homerendered lard and use lard to moisturize. Our eggs are from homegrown pastured chickens. Maybe I need to eliminate dairy to see if that will resolve. I have seen Sally Norton’s vids as well, which was good so I knew what to expect. My only issue is weight loss stall, and I still have yet to try fasting more than 20 hours.

I like Zoe Harcombe too. Another favourite is Georgia Ede. What I love about them is that none of them advocates for all people on earth to stop eating all plant-foods. They both say you dont need them, but you can eat some if your gut can handle it. Which I think is a very wise approach.

no! her approach is confrontational which means she is polarized. She makes a utter confusion between was is essential nutrients and beneficial nutrients. She argues that fibers are non essential then they cant be good but there are many studies showing that if you don’t eat fibers your gut health will degrade and a series of health issues will follow

As I watch, I'm eating my lunch, the first meal of the day. 5 fried salted egg yolks as an omelette, filled with bolognese made from minced beef with sour cream on top. delicious.
That sounds delicious; I haven't eaten yet today, and probably won't eat for several more hours. I love this way of eating. The hardest thing for me is sitting with friends and hearing how sick people are after hearing how well eating carnivore is making other people; plus knowing what it does for me. I have a ways to go and hopefully as I get better it will inspire family and friends.

Great to listen to her about the nut craving. I recently started a ketovore diet. I read nuts were ok as they are low carb but every time I bought a bag of nuts, Brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds I couldn't stop eating. I thought it could be due to the carb content as she states. So I quit buying nuts. Almonds also gave me stomach problems, I have a hard time digesting them.

Look for dr Chaffee rants about that in some of his videos. Need something crispy to chew in front of telly? That's why you wanted nuts, or should I say, went nuts? Look for video about the way how dr Berry cooks bacon crispy. Better snacks there is not. Bonus is the bacon fat for later frying so less butter is needed in the future for cooking.
Fantastic watch! Learned a lot. I met a fellow carnivore online that used the acronym M.E.D.S. This stands for: Meat Eggs Dairy Seafood It's easy to remember and use as a carnivore guideline, as to what to eat to get all the nutrients needed. Not sure what to do on the carnivore diet? Just take your M.E.D.S. Anyway, just a thought. Maybe docs, especially carnivore docs, should use it regularly with their patients.😀
was watching Dr Bart Kay yesterday explain how the body produces about 300g of its own carbs daily for use as needed, and anything we consume can overload our system. Let the body do what it does best. No need to add carbs or fiber, or vitamins!
I appreciate that Zoe describes the processed foods as addictive-in general - by design. It doesn't matter if you are able or unable to "be a moderator" or not... doesn't mater if you can eat a few & stop, b/c the bottom line is that in the end you are still craving these foods and unable to give them up... & that, in itself is the point. Processed foods plus many plant foods have harmful effects that go unidentified for years & even until the petson dies, they are never recognized.

This woman is brilliant, I love how she know the topic so well, that she actually taught me how to interpret results. And see exactly how they are skewed! My wife is a nurse and is still reluctant to adopt a proper human diet. This will be helpful to have resources to back me up when I tell her that the studies are flawed.
What a great conversation shared between these two. I went down the rabbit hole and went vegan 7 years ago. The result was deficiencies. The theme that kept being repeated was that the biggest animals on the planet were vegetarian: apes, baboons, elephants, rhinos, etc. etc. And I bought into it. But my health was suffering. i have been learning more about Carnivore and am giving it a try. i hope to see healing.
A client of mine would go through the grass bag from his riding lawnmower and was horrified when he saw how many dead animals were in there, including honeybees, mice, and even small rabbits. He developed a special accessory for a riding mower to encourage animals to move out of the way but nobody cared, nobody wanted his device, including the vegetarians that lived near him. He uses it, but he cannot stand the hypocrisy of the vegans who toute their superior morals because they don't kill animals. What they really mean is some animals are more equal than others, true to Orwell's Animal Farm.

Here's what makes this better: let's PRETEND that they are telling the truth and that this simply was a harmless act brought about by not having space: They now can't prove anything they say is true because every single study they publish might have important information cut. We now have the luxury of casually dismissing every pro-plant study by saying "I have no idea if they cut information out of this study or not, so we can't assume this Science is valid." Boom. We win that argument.

Forget about counting calories. If you adhere strictly to a carnivore diet(a lion diet seems to be the best short term? elimination diet), you won’t, according to Dr. Chaffee, have to worry about eating less, for good health & greater longevity. Your body will automatically adjust your satiety & reach proper homeostasis. I got all this from various carnivore experts’ articles & videos. Rule of thumb: believe no one until you’ve verified it for yourself. But, discernment is essential as to choosing who to listen to, first-of-all.
Excellent content as usual! I think en route to carnivory (from keto), I watched Dr. Harcombe's stand alone presentations on fiber and vegetables, a few times each. Unlike fiber, her nutrition related analyses and insights are digestible and immediately useful!

This Sunday- Dec 10 when I’m off work- I’m going shopping 🛒 for carnivore foods & starting 100%… Even these past couple days eating mostly natural meats & natural fats & grass fed butter 🧈 etc- I already feel a difference in feeling satisfied , reduce in cravings , more balanced feeling, etc. Goal- improve overall health & lose excess fat pounds I’ve gained during injury- not able to exercise past few months… ouch 😣 Wish me luck 😁 🥩 On the bright side- being laid up a lot during injury- it’s given me extra time to research nutrition , UA-cam & came across the Carnivore information 👏 yay 😁

The hardest part of carnivore for me, has been dealing with people preaching to me how unhealthy it is and asked how many Carnivores live to be 100. I tell them they're misinformed, but they proceed to tell me that I shouldn't be listening to "UA-cam Doctors". It's frustrating to listen to...😑
I remember being a junior doctor in 1999 and I can vouch for the fact that at every nursing station there was a beautiful big box of chocolates which kept us junior docs well fuelled for the amount of walking running and standing we had to do on 12 hour plus shifts - and there was a study once done in the BMJ once surveying how well junior doctors could identify the different fillings in various popular Christmas time well known brands of chocolates (Roses, Quality st etc) based on appearance. I can tell you the junior doctors scored well. We also missed many meals and rushed down lunches as there was no time to sit and digest properly - canteen food was incredibly variable and we often were bleeped away from our dinner to attend an emergency or answer a bleep so often missed half our meals. Those were the joys lol. We had a difficult enough time making time to go to the toilet for a pee never mind recall what we had to eat that day or how many whole or half cups of tea or coffee while doing admin….

Upon swallowing I felt such a sensation...it was as if my cells woke up happy ready to celebrate. I started groaning with pleasure...it tasted sooo good and laughing because I knew I most certainly could do this BBB&E PHD... proper human diet. I knew I was missing nutrients knowing inherently I needed whole foods as the scource for absorption. What I missed until this 1st bite's awakening, I was not getting nothing from the synthetics supplementation. Just call me now, MEATY MO!!! Within a few days, as best I can figure out, because it happen so fast...this mouthfull of meat and te pound I eat each day since ( over a year now?) Left me ''a'thriving! Visural fat shrunk sobrapidly around all organs...even the heart . That was wild but the little guys...the kidneys and adrenals were beyond painful. (Sat in bed and screamed for 3days?) What I learned for a certainty...I will never be a vegan again! Do not care/ plan/want/need to ever eat plants again. Lordy! I am delighted to be ridnof oxalates. I never got satiated with vegetable. yet was hungry 5 minutesn after I ate, always bloated, skin was broken out with fluordemia...fluoride cystic acne, heavy cellulite...POOF...almost GONE, perpetually flaking dry nose does not don thisbany longer,(!!!) soft skin everywhere, ... even feet and heels and the "there is no cure for that tiny bumps on back of arms--Ketosis Pilaris. Zoe Harcombe is the best speaker in my opinion I have ever seen in my entire life. It’s great to see her in the podcast again. One thing I one day suddenly realized what association/epidemiological studies means is association = guess, even the most well done well documented studies are still just guesses. Using associations/guesses to make conclusions is just stupid. This is unfortunately why nutrition is so messed up.

This was posted just in time. I have been trying to find info specific to fober, cholesterol and saturated fats. Im trying the "carnivore" diet in the new year. Ive tried so many diferent diets and clean eating etc. I have pcos and doctors always said to lose weight (no duh! I want to lose it too!) And put me on bc. For 13 years i was on birth control. Thanks to the pandemic, i started making.homemade breads and more home cooking and i felt better. Didnt lose much weight but my depression was gone! For 2 years i have waited for my cycle to return. I read that the carnivore diet helps with that. But of course i get nervous since all we've learned and been told by doctors is to eat a salad instead of too much steaks, except it made cravings worse and i waa angry all the time. All this to say, I am excited and encouraged by this interview to embark on this food journey. Thanks for this!
Check out the Dr Fit and Fabulous podcast. She's big on restoring fertility and hormonal balance with animal products. Trust the fat and get your quality of life back. Don't focus on the scale either. Get yourself a measuring tape and record your measurements every few months. Chasing weight loss rarely leads to sustainable fat loss.
Ive listened to lots of content on this subject and I have to say that Dr Zoe Harcombe has given one of the best explanation of macros, what we need and why, in particular why carbs aren't that useful and why protein and fats are essential.

Gave her a list of 11 benefits that I've received with Carnivore. She's so closed minded... Saddened, but everyone must make a choice.

I was vegan for six and a half years. I watched a lot of UA-cam videos from vegan doctors and they were pushing 300 g of fiber a day and I believed them and I did it I've been carnivore now for 19 months. My life is changed for the better when I was growing up in the '70s we basically ate a carnivore diet

I was brought up in the 70s and we ate plenty of animal products at every meal, it wasnt considered a complete meal without. We had even used to eat homemade burgers or fish for breakfast if there was leftover from dinner. Nobody was obese in those days like they are today. I sadly listened to the health advice in the 80s of cut out red meat and animal fat and ate a huge amount more fruit and veg, much less meat. I can look back and see my health decline from then. I've just recovered from multiple deficiency and a laundry list of health issues via carnivore. I've now taken up sprinting which I haven't done for nearly 40 years due to joint and muscle pain.

We may be the only species who are constantly trying to eat what we can't digest (fiber) yet this abnormality is endorsed by nutritionist's "recommendation". Where's the logic?
@@edy3569how about fruit? Our bodies can break down fructose. I went fruit/ raw over the summer trying to get inflammation down and it worked but started losing hair .... so abruptly stopped and now all over the place trying to figure out how to heal and get right.
I encountered the Harcombe diet in 2014 trying to lose weight at the time. I did not expect it would also resolve my GERD, frequent migraines, bloating and gassiness, edema in my legs, arthritic pains on my lower back, shoulders and knees, pre-diabetes, and plantar fasciitis. This brought me down the rabbit hole of nutrition as I realized and thought, “What was I putting into my body that was actually an assault instead of nourishment?’. I was a medical doctor by education when I was still in the Philippines, (came to US and practiced as a nurse) so I do have a pretty good grasp of the scientific explanations that answered a lot of my questions. I now have a pretty good collection of nutrition books. I have come to realize that my main issue was sugar and gluten (my father had a bakery and so I craved baked goods when I left Philippines, so I resorted to home baking, which was nostalgic to me.). Being Asian, rice is also a staple. I still slip into wanting baked goods, rice and chocolates from time to time. But feeling the awful side effects make regret having them. I am just glad that I know how I can reverse these issues. I have also decided to fire my PCP who has always wanted to put me on statin, when I don’t really worry about my cholesterol levels, especially that we raise our own meat animals. I have not tried carnivore diet and I only started to listen to yt vids about it, but I am willing to try at least one month of it. I honestly feel that it’s gonna be easier since I won’t have to worry about veggies. We have 3 freezers of homegrown pastured meats, and I eat any part of it including brain if I could get it. I only wish I could get all of the organs from the slaughterhouse (USDA apparently has some restrictions on slaughterhouses). BTW, I quit nursing when they mandated the flu shot to us, plus the C vax. I now work at home in tech, on a project involving healthcare.

Try 3-6 months high fat carnivore or ketovore with 10-20g carbs per day and you won’t go back. This is amazing.
What a testimony! You’ve been through a LOT! Good luck to you when you make your lifestyle switch to animal based eating. Grains are toxic and I know how you feel about the cravings. Give carnivore 6 months, start keto, you don't want togo carnivore 100% at the beginning to ensure gut transition, with yoghurts, cheese, cage free eggs, lots of Himalayan sea salt mixed with grass fed butter, check Bart Kay on this, also watch Sally Norton on oxalate dumping, which you may well go through on carnivore, dermal cream and ice cold showers saved me
@@pixelmasque going good now, on my 5th month. The biggest issue I had was the initial 2 weeks - diarrhea and electrolyte imbalance/leg edema. No more bloating, BP and blood sugars controlled. The bowel movements have stabilized now I do dirty carnivore from time to time (like adding garlic or onion, or using homegrown/homecanned tomatoes). The only remaining issue is a patch of eczema on my foot which started during carni, so maybe oxalate dumping…I don’t know. I make my own soaps from homerendered lard and use lard to moisturize. Our eggs are from homegrown pastured chickens. Maybe I need to eliminate dairy to see if that will resolve. I have seen Sally Norton’s vids as well, which was good so I knew what to expect. My only issue is weight loss stall, and I still have yet to try fasting more than 20 hours.

I like Zoe Harcombe too. Another favourite is Georgia Ede. What I love about them is that none of them advocates for all people on earth to stop eating all plant-foods. They both say you dont need them, but you can eat some if your gut can handle it. Which I think is a very wise approach.

no! her approach is confrontational which means she is polarized. She makes a utter confusion between was is essential nutrients and beneficial nutrients. She argues that fibers are non essential then they cant be good but there are many studies showing that if you don’t eat fibers your gut health will degrade and a series of health issues will follow

That sounds delicious; I haven't eaten yet today, and probably won't eat for several more hours. I love this way of eating. The hardest thing for me is sitting with friends and hearing how sick people are after hearing how well eating carnivore is making other people; plus knowing what it does for me. I have a ways to go and hopefully as I get better it will inspire family and friends.

Great to listen to her about the nut craving. I recently started a ketovore diet. I read nuts were ok as they are low carb but every time I bought a bag of nuts, Brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds I couldn't stop eating. I thought it could be due to the carb content as she states. So I quit buying nuts. Almonds also gave me stomach problems, I have a hard time digesting them.

Need something crispy to chew in front of telly? That's why you wanted nuts, or should I say, went nuts? Look for video about the way how dr Berry cooks bacon crispy. Better snacks there is not. Bonus is the bacon fat for later frying so less butter is needed in the future for cooking.

was watching Dr Bart Kay yesterday explain how the body produces about 300g of its own carbs daily for use as needed, and anything we consume can overload our system. Let the body do what it does best. No need to add carbs or fiber, or vitamins!
I appreciate that Zoe describes the processed foods as addictive-in general - by design. It doesn't matter if you are able or unable to "be a moderator" or not... doesn't mater if you can eat a few & stop, b/c the bottom line is that in the end you are still craving these foods and unable to give them up... & that, in itself is the point. Processed foods plus many plant foods have harmful effects that go unidentified for years & even until the petson dies, they are never recognized.
This is nutritional & lifestyle GOLD. !!! Capturing these two amazing individuals together sharing their science and evidence based knowledge is just what we need to counter the well meant but misinformed plant based fad.

Whilst in hospital for several weeks I did not see more than 3 nurses with a bmi of less than 30, some much higher. One even told me that my bmi of 22.5 was the same as her left leg.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Appreciated your observation 'cos when I recently re-did my First Aid and CPR training, the trainer was enormous, .... and clearly hypertensive, gasping for breath throughout the entire day-long input session. In the event of an emergency, she'd have been the one, ironically, requiring assistance to leave the building.

This woman is brilliant, I love how she know the topic so well, that she actually taught me how to interpret results. And see exactly how they are skewed! My wife is a nurse and is still reluctant to adopt a proper human diet. This will be helpful to have resources to back me up when I tell her that the studies are flawed.
What a great conversation shared between these two. I went down the rabbit hole and went vegan 7 years ago. The result was deficiencies. The theme that kept being repeated was that the biggest animals on the planet were vegetarian: apes, baboons, elephants, rhinos, etc. etc. And I bought into it. But my health was suffering. i have been learning more about Carnivore and am giving it a try. i hope to see healing.
A client of mine would go through the grass bag from his riding lawnmower and was horrified when he saw how many dead animals were in there, including honeybees, mice, and even small rabbits. He developed a special accessory for a riding mower to encourage animals to move out of the way but nobody cared, nobody wanted his device, including the vegetarians that lived near him. He uses it, but he cannot stand the hypocrisy of the vegans who toute their superior morals because they don't kill animals.
What they really mean is some animals are more equal than others, true to Orwell's Animal Farm.
One thing I appreciate from you dr. Chafee is your true integral devotion to your health belief about carnivore. You stand strong even in front of your guest who eats differently from you and whom you admire. I applaud you. Many thanks for being transparent at all times in this matter.

Just for a month. Because in worst case scenario you can hang on with nails on the wall, hold for a month and then reverse to your prior dietary preference. They now can't prove anything they say is true because every single study they publish might have important information cut. We now have the luxury of casually dismissing every pro-plant study by saying "I have no idea if they cut information out of this study or not, so we can't assume this Science is valid." Boom. We win that argument.

Forget about counting calories. If you adhere strictly to a carnivore diet(a lion diet seems to be the best short term? elimination diet), you won’t, according to Dr. Chaffee, have to worry about eating less, for good health & greater longevity. Your body will automatically adjust your satiety & reach proper homeostasis. I got all this from various carnivore experts’ articles & videos. Rule of thumb: believe no one until you’ve verified it for yourself. But, discernment is essential as to choosing who to listen to, first-of-all.

The hardest part of carnivore for me, has been dealing with people preaching to me how unhealthy it is and asked how many Carnivores live to be 100. I tell them they're misinformed, but they proceed to tell me that I shouldn't be listening to "UA-cam Doctors". It's frustrating to listen to...😑
I remember being a junior doctor in 1999 and I can vouch for the fact that at every nursing station there was a beautiful big box of chocolates which kept us junior docs well fuelled for the amount of walking running and standing we had to do on 12 hour plus shifts - and there was a study once done in the BMJ once surveying how well junior doctors could identify the different fillings in various popular Christmas time well known brands of chocolates (Roses, Quality st etc) based on appearance. I can tell you the junior doctors scored well. We also missed many meals and rushed down lunches as there was no time to sit and digest properly - canteen food was incredibly variable and we often were bleeped away from our dinner to attend an emergency or answer a bleep so often missed half our meals. Those were the joys lol. We had a difficult enough time making time to go to the toilet for a pee never mind recall what we had to eat that day or how many whole or half cups of tea or coffee while doing admin….

Upon swallowing I felt such a sensation...it was as if my cells woke up happy ready to celebrate. I started groaning with pleasure...it tasted sooo good and laughing because I knew I most certainly could do this BBB&E PHD... proper human diet.
I knew I was missing nutrients knowing inherently I needed whole foods as the scource for absorption. What I missed until this 1st bite's awakening, I was not getting nothing from the synthetics supplementation.

One thing I one day suddenly realized what association/epidemiological studies means is association = guess, even the most well done well documented studies are still just guesses. Using associations/guesses to make conclusions is just stupid. This is unfortunately why nutrition is so messed up.

This was posted just in time. I have been trying to find info specific to fober, cholesterol and saturated fats. Im trying the "carnivore" diet in the new year. Ive tried so many diferent diets and clean eating etc. I have pcos and doctors always said to lose weight (no duh! I want to lose it too!) And put me on bc. For 13 years i was on birth control. Thanks to the pandemic, i started making.homemade breads and more home cooking and i felt better. Didnt lose much weight but my depression was gone! For 2 years i have waited for my cycle to return. I read that the carnivore diet helps with that. But of course i get nervous since all we've learned and been told by doctors is to eat a salad instead of too much steaks, except it made cravings worse and i waa angry all the time.
All this to say, I am excited and encouraged by this interview to embark on this food journey. Thanks for this!

Trust the fat and get your quality of life back. Don't focus on the scale either. Get yourself a measuring tape and record your measurements every few months. Chasing weight loss rarely leads to sustainable fat loss.

Ive listened to lots of content on this subject and I have to say that Dr Zoe Harcombe has given one of the best explanation of macros, what we need and why, in particular why carbs aren't that useful and why protein and fats are essential.
I loved this. Dr. Harcombe is so intelligent and puts together wonderful and thorough arguments. I think the two of you should hit the road, when you convince her to be carnivore.

I loved it when Dr Harcomb humorously mentioned microfiche , Dr Chaffee politely acknowledging the witty reference whilst (possibly) not having a clue what she was talking about.
Cue “1995 called and wants its references back” jokes.
Much respect for both these professionals. Intelligent, caring and committed. Both great role models making a positive difference.

And I even admire how well she is able to pronounce every word. Easy to listen for people like me with poor English skills.
Hah, I'm assuming that's a reference to the clothes she was wearing for that presentation on fibre, black with the blue at shoulder level. It did look eerily like a Star Fleet uniform for the science division, which I found very amusing.
