So many NEAT things This Week - Trains. Tractors. Tarped equipment too. Thanks so much for sharing all this ! ! ! This is Scale Rail Ray heading back to my corner of the Round House.
Great show this week! Looking forward to the different trains running on the next on. I had the show on inside my layout room, putting together two separate trains to run on my layout.
What a great show! I just love the runbys! It was a treat to see & hear Mr. Jelsma! The tractors that James brought to the round table are just outstanding! The tarp load that Mike brought to the round table are just outstanding! Nice job, sir! I'm wearing my What's Neat This Week stocking/beanie cap! Love It! Thank You, Mr. Jelsma! "This Is The World's Greatest Hobby" Till Next Time! MoPac Jack Happy Thanksgiving 2024! Rock N' Roll Forever.. "As Always, Keep It On The Rails" 🚂
C'mon guys, the SP had I think five of those domes. Just look at the car numbers available for Rapido's. A friend, Milton, who recently passed, did the same to a brass dome for me. Same scheme, full interior with folks and table settings. It's freeking gorgeous. I did order one of the Rapido cars, but in Daylight to run with BLI cars. Gobble🍗
I loved watching What's Neat (since it started yeaaars ago). In the past year, I've noticed a lot more talking over someone who has a discussion about their product or items. It is great to be excited about what you have to contribute but it is sometimes hard to hear what is being said. It may be just because I am old but I do wear hearing aids!😁😁 Keep up with the great shows.👍
Ken, The seven scale models of yourself and friends appear to all be about the same height. Are all of you about the same height or are all miniatures produced by this method made to the same height in inches regardless of the person posing ? Thank you, Philip Stead
There are height differences. The scans Bernard Hellen sent us are 1:1 scale. I sized Ken’s print at 6” tall. That gave me a dimensional percentage for height that I could then use to scale width and depth for Ken’s model. I used the same percentage for all the models. Our heights are all within a few inches, and that difference is hard to see on the smaller scale.
Thank you for another brilliant show
I liked how you all described the cars as they rolled by the camera. Quick and interesting little segment.
The show is usually fantastic, but the runby with commentary is a welcome addition!
Mike Budde awesome again! Thanks for the canvas modeling tip👍

The Krauss-Maffai ML4000 is from Piko a german Company. Price is like every other ScaleTrains or Athearn Genesis model.
