You guys are having too much fun! Speaking of Spring Creek Hobbies, a few years ago when traveling from Virginia to Salt Lake City, my wife and I did visit Spring Creek Hobbies, way out there in the cornfields of Nebraska. Yeah, Wow! I've been a customer of their since 2009. Great service from them! Later on I heard the term "collector" which has often seemed to be pejorative. It's a term many of us could be called, at least until we reach a point that we have time to go beyond it. Many of us collected with a goal to model a railroad when we finally got the situation to be stable, have a space and to build a layout. Been there! Lionel makes a good point that there are so many elements in the hobby and sometimes we decide to focus on a few to the exclusion of others.
Hi Ken love the show, I fully understand Josh's dilemma, on my latest layout I used 1/8 hardboard cut into splines and glued and screwed, with a 1x4 open grid with service holes and I used 1 inch foam around the roadbed for scenery that can be lifted out for service or change the look. PS can get Ken to get you a pair of safety glasses and or have Ken use a blunt pencil. Thank you Mike.
Joshua had a good point and I tend to agree. Dead rail and battery power in the future I think is going to be huge. That's going to bring so many people into the hobby.
Joshua, I had an airbrush kit that never left the box in 20 years. Found out watching George Sellios using spray cans, you could paint with cans as well as the airbrush.
Eye difficulties - Lionel doesn't talk about it much but I think it might be related to the treatment (successful) for his stage 4 cancer several years ago.
He is a Cancer survivor and major fundraiser for cancer research. If you care to check out his show you’ll understand that the gruff is just his pod persona. Or you can pile on with the cranky.
Hi Ken. I have a N scale layout, and want to find out will you be coming out with a n scale whats next box car. I always have been watching the show . Joseph Swartz from Pocono Lake , Pa
Ken and the group you need to visit the Amherst show in West Springfield Mass. in Late January 2025. Lionel will be there. Two days 4 buildings more trains than you can believe.
I think Ken Mike James should go over there help sugar fire one night good help planing goes long way , take his ideas go with it , you guys ant that busy Daniel
Who cares about you technicals difficulties!!! Where’s the trains this guy !!! So what !! We can’t afford brass get real where are under Biden !! Who care how much money this guy has 😮 let hear about rail roading !! Good job Josh getting back on track !!
I turned this on to hear about new products from the National Show and I couldn’t stay with it because of all the incessant banter! Get to the new product news and cut the BS!
Anybody else see a white square covering Lionel's head in the front camera shot ? The one that has the bridge in it is fine. Since they said it was a daytime show I think what is happening is a reflection of the sunlight outside through a window. .
Who are you? Have you never listened to the ModelersLife podcast? That's kind of how he kind of is, but it isn't rude, he's a kidder, a joker in that way. It's fine.

Joshua had a good point and I tend to agree. Dead rail and battery power in the future I think is going to be huge. That's going to bring so many people into the hobby.
I've got a big smile now!!! Thank You all !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love mike and Joshua!!
They are cool signs from the sign guy.
I love overpasses, to divide the scene.

Like everybody’s gotta bow down to Lionel ????
My thoughts exactly. He needs to stay in his lane. smh
@30.2 Roadbed ...you need to have your roadbed to be very quiet so it doesn't make noise and subdue the soundcard. Use foam for just scenery.
I would really like to see the show of Mikes basement. Good show this week . The rapido engines are really snazzy.
Poor mike !!! Has sit and listen to this Lionel guy like kens got extra time to build joshes layout !! Come on Lionel!!!
"lionel say something" yeah, he needs to understand the principles of an audio and video podcast ;)
another great show, is there a whats neat this week box car in NScale ?
Can we get a fly over the shelf’s in the background with the camera? Really want to know what’s exactly on there.
You guy are forgetting what this shows about ????
Ole boy in the sun glasses is a little rough around the edges. Too cool for school maybe??

I was there this year with MRH. It was an incredible show.
@@JamesRegiersModels You need to get Ken, Mike and Joshua there .
I watch this show religiously... I grew up and live near Gulf Breeze, Fl! How/Why is Mike Budde wearing a Gulf Breeze Dolphins shirt?
I use Homa Bed on 1/2” plywood
I love watching this show every week, but don’t care at all for the guy they had on the mini screen.
I think Ken Mike James should go over there help sugar fire one night good help planing goes long way , take his ideas go with it , you guys ant that busy Daniel

The “banter” is the whole point of the show. Why so cranky?
Anybody else see a white square covering Lionel's head in the front camera shot ? The one that has the bridge in it is fine. Since they said it was a daytime show I think what is happening is a reflection of the sunlight outside through a window. .
He didn't need to be on the show.
Yes
Yep that's definitely what it was, he moved the screen when they introduced him, which was too bad, but oh well :)
Here's a thought: Let's not have Lionel on here next time. I cringed every time he complained. He doesn't match the vibe of the rest of the guys.
This guy is a jerk this Lionel !! He rood !!!! Get out !!!!!
Who are you? Have you never listened to the ModelersLife podcast? That's kind of how he kind of is, but it isn't rude, he's a kidder, a joker in that way. It's fine.
This guy is so so rude to Joshua!!! I’m pissed how disrespectful!!!
This is a whole lot better then the DNC. THIS SHOW IS REAL FUN, REAL PEOPLES
Not really worth watching. I skipped ahead to see what Mike had, then I was out. Try to be a little more organized and professional.
Love you guys but shows over 40 minutes are too long. Content is great, just make them two shows.
