    I’m not a bodybuilder, just a recreational weight lifter but these videos are so interesting and inspiring to watch. Jay seems like such a personable down to earth champion.

    His tip about a loose grip is very important for proper muscle blood flow. Such good info. Great video.

    • @Joseph1NJ
      @Joseph1NJ 5 років тому +14

      The difference is body building, not weight lifting, or power lifting. It's not about moving weights, it's what best stimulates the muscles you're training.

    • @Schaufelor
      @Schaufelor 5 років тому +12

      I discovered that some years ago. It´s just like he said, keeping the hands loose will make it a lot easier to feel the target muscle...aka mind muscle connection ---> more growth.

    • @Joseph1NJ
      @Joseph1NJ 5 років тому +2

      @@Schaufelor You have to focus on the muscle group you're trying to train and not moving weights. That's why some say BBers have poor form; they're trying to increase time under tension, locking out sometimes is just not needed.

    I think Jay is very-very close second only to Arnold in terms of giving back to the sport of bodybuilding and fitness generally. He is a true ambassador through thick and thin, always there, always humble but very knowledgeable. If you like bodybuilding you just can't dislike Jay. Just by his work after retirement he is a very good choice for the title of GOAT.

      Are you serious? Arnold is a arrogant scumbag. I don't see why people still look up to him. He's not even a decent actor, only thing he was good at was bodybuilding. Out of 7 Olympia wins, atleast 2 of those shouldn't have gone to him. People are just ignorant, so they don't even care even if someone brings up the truth, why? Because he's Arnold.
