I can't really tell HOW much I enjoyed watching this..
That Eddie is a (big) nice and funny guy is well known, you can see this in nearly every video on every platform.
Also how he behaves here.. beeing full of respect, beeing thankful, trying to learn.. this is GREAT!
and Jay.. WOW! It's like he is the most likeable guy in the gym!! So calm, so professionel, so nice, so humble! He has reached everything possible, but still is like the normal guy .. also how he speaks about Ronnie, his insane intensity and how their trainings together looked like.. he is just not that guy "i must go heavier".. he just tells how much more weight Big Ron used to take, with perfect reps..
In every single sentence you can here and feel HOW much he knows about this sport, about the body! His mind-muscle-connection thing is brilliant!
And it's also great to see, that it looks like Jay is still in good condition at nearyl 50... so many pros ar a wreck .. and I really hope Jay will remain healthy!!!!
Just thank you for this superb video!

Its going to take a lot for eddie to shift his mindset from strength to hypertrophy. Jay was spot on when he was trying to limit the amount of weight eddie was lifitng. And the fact eddie is going to gain more weight shows hes still no better than a begginer when it comes to growing muscle. Even Jay was shocked.

i like this new journey Eddie is on. But i wish he would implement what someone like JC tells him. It still looked like Eddie was in "move the heavy weight quickly" mode much of the time, instead of move the lighter weight more slowly in a more difficult manner to exhaust the muscle. For instance, he wasn't moving the weight forward on the bent over dumbbell row like Jay said. Eddie's power and mindset are actually a slight hindrance at times. Still great content though.
