THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME, ENERGY, EFFORT AND MONEY IN MAKING THIS PARTICULAR VIDEO!!!! I have been disabled from several Near Fatal automobile accidents and I am NOT ABLE to go into the water due to my health issues. However, this video as well as others have given me a window into the world of these Magnificent and Majestic animals. I have been truly blessed and thoroughly enjoy seeing these particular types of videos. I IMMENSELY APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK AND EFFORT INTO BRINGING JOY AND HAPPINESS INTO MY LIFE!!! Words can NEVER EVER Fully Express My Deepest Appreciation and Gratitude. MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Hi our friend :) We are SO happy to read you’ve enjoyed so much our video and you have felt somewhat of what we felt there! Great to share it with you. May God bless you too and keep deciding being happy and enjoying your life above everything 🙏🏻💙
Hi 🤗 Guadalupe is much better option than SA to see great whites cause vis in Guadalupe use to be around 35-40 meters and in SA it’s always around 5-10 meters (sometimes worse 🙈). But this year 2022 Guadalupe has been closed 😔 Ee hope they open soon (they say next year) cause we want to come back! Cheers!!!!
Hi let me start by saying your video was beautiful. It’s been a dream of mine to be able to experience being in the water with a great white. What company would you suggest booking with? Unfortunately none of my friends share the same passion as me when it comes to sharks so i will be taking a solo trip. Do you guys have any tips or comments on how safe it is, or if there are usually other solo people that go on this adventure? Thank you 😊
Hi Karina 🥰 We are happy to tell you that of course you can enjoy alone of this amazing experience. It is really a safe one and it is just magic to observe these incredible animals so close. You can go there from early August till end of October, but best time for us is from late August till the end of September, cause visibility use to be really good, the sea is not so rough (it is getting worse as October arrives) and most of the sharks has arrived. If you go at the end of October you have the chance to see the big pregnant females, but the crossing to reach Isla Guadalupe could be hard and the visibility use to be worse. We recommend you to contact Cantamar (MY Cassiopeia or MV Sourhern Sport) that is a Mexican company with wide experience there. We hope you can go there next 2021!!!! Cheers 🤗🤗🤗
Hi Guys, we seem to be interested in the same dive spots around the world. Guadalupe is right up there on my list too. I'm pleased you managed to get there. Looks as though you had a good trip too. I'm back out at Socorro in 7 weeks time (bait ball season) and I know my boat does Guadalupe in the later months of the year. Maybe next year. I enjoyed watching your video, as usual. How long are you in the cages for and how may 'dives' over the trip?
Hi Steve :))))) So cool you are going back to Socorro!!!!! Keep us posted about your trip please! Guadalupe is just magic! We got in love with this guys! You can "dive" as long as you resist, the water is cold, around 18ºC and you are not swimming into the cage, so when you are there more than 2 hours you don't feel you fingers even you wear gloves. I recommend you to bring there your warmest wetsuit! But if you want you can be in the cage all the day cause in only at 1,5 meters. There is also a deeper cage, at around 10 meters. And you usually have 3 days of cage diving in all the liveaboards. I hope this helps you. Guadalupe season is from early August till November. Our daughter, who is a shark scientist, use to stay in the island all the season to biopsy and tag the sharks :) Big hug from Jordi and I
@@jordiahumadasofialopez1818 Thanks for the info. Very useful to know about the temp and time in the cages. Not sure about spending all day down there at 18 degrees C!! Will keep you posted about bait ball season in Socorro. After watching your Bahamas video again, I finally started editing my Bahamas video. It really was an incredible experience to be so close to those beautiful animals. Steve :)))
@@SteveColliganUK Steve! I am the most frozen woman in the whole world. I cannot stand under 23-24ºC even I wear an semidry + an electric heater (Thermalution) and I though I was not going to stand more than 20 minutes on the cage, but once you see them is like you get drunk, you become completely hypnotized by them. Each time I got out from the cage (after 80-90 minutes) I needed like 20 minutes under hot water shower to begin feeling my hands... But I would repeat it each year if I could :) Please do your Bahamas video and let us know!!!! I am always busy cause I work all day and we have a very big family, so I am not very good on social media, but I don't want to miss it!!! Please write us to tell us when you have done your video so we can enjoy it!!!!! Big hug and kisses buddy :)
@@jordiahumadasofialopez1818 Interesting to hear how you can be totally distracted from the cold while watching the Great Whites in front of you. I'm normally ok with the cold, as I dive in the uk (with a dry suit though), so I should be ok. I will of course let you know when I've finished my Bahamas video. With you also having the same experience as me there, I know you will appreciate my video more than others. Thanks for being interested. Big hugs too! :)

You must go there! It is just amazing! If you want to see the big females choose October to travel 😉 We know very well Guadalupe cause our daughter has been working there as a marine scientist for a long time. Her favourite is Lucy 💙🦈 Cheers!!!

Anyone know if it would be better to seek out a cage dive in South Africa or Guadalupe? I'm guessing the visibility is roughly the same?

Absolutely! And they are really important to keep marine ecosystems healthy 🥰
Why include the clip where it's taking a shit??
Because it is not easy to see a shark pooping and I wanted to share this curious moment of animal behaviour ☺️

Exactly! Females are bigger to allow the mating, cause the male bites her pectoral fin during the mating :)
