Thank you so much! I really appreciate you saying that. It was important to me, to select music that went with the video and also compels viewers to truly see the beauty and majestic nature of these sharks.
@@AlexHigley You are right with the underwater scenes you are captivated. You only become aware of the dimensions of these sharks when you see them life. I envy them I come from Germany and it is a dream of mine to get into the cage and admire these giants. Thanks for this Video !!! 👍👍👍
I LOVE Seeing these BEAUTIFUL FISH. BUT I Think this is hurting them, Teaching them the boats have food. Teaseing them for pictures. NO NOT RIGHT. LEAVE THEM BE.
You have a point because if they begin to associate boats with food and people are in the water with no food and no cage then someone is going to wind up being eaten.
It is also a great danger for the sharks with this cages, they hurt themselves and sometimes kill themselves cause some people pay tons of money for some pictures... sorry but dislike.
Thanks so much. It’s an incredible experience going from filming them with a drone to being in the water with them and getting to see how they move and interact from a different perspective.
I was just there in November on the Belle Amie and know the feeling. They are amazing. So serene in the cage and I was never scared at all. That big girl at the end of your video was VERY curious and probably wanted to take a bite out of one of you, though, cute as she looked! :)
There were some very big males and females in the water on this trip. Later in the year even larger sharks are supposed to start showing up at Guadalupe Island!
I was just out filming going out to sea for a cinematic shot, and to my surprise, when I looked up at the ocean with my eyes, a massive shark breached and splashed down hard, and the drone captured it well! Video will come tomorrow.
Seriously!?!? Wow congrats. Can’t wait to see it. Also…. Very important, I was meaning to tell you…. Any time someone comments on your videos give the comment a thumbs up and also reply back. It ads more comments to your video and helps it get more exposure with the UA-cam algorithm. You’re doing an awesome job and deserve kt regardless, but UA-cam is running a business and we have to adhere and play by there rules. But I want you to have the utmost success with everything you’re doing. You’re doing an awesome job! Keep it up.
@@AlexHigley thanks! I do try to reply to most comments. The video comes out at 10am this morning. I actually saw one breach before I took off yesterday as well. But the one I captured was right behind the surf! Thanks for the tip!
Yes… you can see that occur a few times here and there were other times when some of the larger sharks were near the tuna heads and would swim with the pectoral fins pointed to intimidate some of the smaller sharks.
Please tell me what harm is it doing to them?? Considering what cruelty that does go on in this world. This is an education, a thrill and a privilege to see these magnificent creatures in their own habitat.....
@@gregj831 sharks are not mindless maneaters. They are majestic animals that deserve our protection. Maybe you should do your research about great whites before thinking about them being maneaters.
Gosh, I Cannot get over the clarity of the water of Guadalupe Island, if there weren't Massive Great White Sharks there I would So jump in for a swim. But they ARE there, it IS Their home and I respect that. And while I get that they have to throw bait in the water to get the sharks up to the surface it Does bother me how they repeatedly pull the bait away from the sharks over and over again, once they've gotten a good look, let the shark have the bait!, unless they do let the shark have the bait but the video is edited to make it look like they don't get the bait.
I'd be afraid the sharks will soon become very pissed and ram the boat and sink it and then we'd have very real problems on our hands. The thought of dying like Captain Quint does not intrigue me.

Holy smokes would not want to swim there, although it is beautiful!

Luckily, I was recording, because I usually don’t record until I get passed the lineup. I’d guess that the shark went at least 4-5 feet in the air!
@@GreatWhiteDronE That’s awesome. What time of day was that?

Oh great. Boats and people now = food in the shark's mind.
Hey Alex, what camera did you use to film this? Looks amazing.
Thanks so much Adam! I used my DJI Mavic Pro for the aerial shots and a Campark X35 underwater camera in the water.

Teasing them for sport!😡
@@Gentlebreeze397 I would love to know how they are being teased and what kind of sport is involved??????
You can tell the female Great White is the dominant of the 2 sharks. Very curious about the cage as well.
Very curious about eating the people inside of it.

Some great videography but some clips are a little over exposed; post edid exposre would improve video presentation.
I'll be sure to never dive near that piece of barren rock as I don't want to suffer the same fate as Captain Quint.
You go into the water, shark's in the water...our shark.
He'll chew on ya, tenderize ya...down ya go, swallow ya whole.

Yes, I was actually thinking, why on earth tease them in that way? I don't think it's neither fair nor a very clever idea...
The sharks often get the bait! There are also numerous times that certain sharks will pass right by the bait (within inches) and not go after it.
I'd wish there were orcas there.
I was really hoping we were going to see a pod of orcas on the trip out there...no luck.
