yeah when i saw 16 for tiger i knew this list wasnt very accurate females often get up to 16 feet long i think some have been recorded over 20 , great whites are accurate for an average large shark but have exceeded 22 feet on record.

So if the Coelacanth evaded humans for thousands of years, what is to say that carcharadon megalodon isn’t out there somewhere. Megalodons lived in warm, shallow waters and fed on small whales. We would absolutely notice it, if not year round, then at least during breeding seasons where it would leave its young in the shallows like modern large sharks do.

I'm so glad someone finally put the Greenland shark up where it belongs, quite frankly those guys are ginormous but thankfully not a shark we encounter much, there isn't much know about them, but they grow massive x the 6 gill has been known to grow much larger than the great white, again deep sea, so we have no real idea how huge they are?
