Why would he sit in a wheelchair at his pc if he can walk around his house, even just a little bit he'd only need it for going outside. Why not use a proper chair. Then the deletion of chat comments, the turning of the camera, the lie that he fell despite him being fine enough to ban chat members and walk away from the desk he allegedly fell into.
Sure he may have needed it at one point and then got better, but that situation was very strange to not mention anything about the progress.
    In short, not buying it.

As a legit wheelchair user all you have to do is look at his chair to know he doesn't need it. Those are cheapo granny chairs that they sell at walgreens. Real WC users have a Quickie or something similar that is custom, with a custom cushion. They are very expensive UNLESS you are actually disabled then it is covered under insurance or SSDI. True facts. (I have a spinal injury and have used a wheelchair for almost 20 years.)

i think this shows the mindset people have with disabled people, that every disabled person must use and rely on a wheelchair 24/7 when that isn’t the case at all. it’s different for everyone and often times they’re able to walk and sometimes they need to use their chair but he should’ve just stayed honest that he wasn’t reliant on it as he used to be because people got the wrong idea and thought he was using it as a prop right from the very start

Alright. I'm gonna say it. This guy deserves a second chance. He made a big mistake not telling his community he was recovering, but I can understand why. As long as he's honest about it in the future, he deserves a second chance and an apology. If he had a disability and recovered, but people think he faked having one from the beginning for views and money that's going to follow him for the rest of his life.
And before anyone says it... he would've probably been more successful if he did reveal his recovery. However, a lot of you are just assuming the worst about him because he did something wrong. Did he like the donations? Probably, but we shouldn't assume only the worst about someone when they makes bad decisions. Otherwise, nobody can grow or contribute anything good because anytime they try they'll get stopped. Like I said in my before, he deserves a second chance. You can assume he did it only for money. But I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. He claims his stream knew he was going through physical therapy, but not how much he had recovered, which is fair. He isn't obligated to tell them how far he's recovered. That's private, healthcare information. He didn't even start the infamous wheelchair drive that's talked about, his viewers did and one of his friends from before he started streaming donated most of what got in there. People donated, sure, but he wasn't going around begging for them to do so. People claim the wheelchair drive raised $10,000, but the friend claims it was at most $2,000 and was made when he still needed the wheelchair at all times. In the interview he was in, he said that the clip of him standing was at a point in his recovery that he could walk around his house, but any extended walk or trips to the store, he still needed the wheelchair. As someone who has had two knee surgeries that required me to be in a wheelchair for a little bit while I recovered, I can say that there is absolutely a time in recovery that you can stand and walk for a little bit, but still need the wheelchair. It's not an either/or situation. He wasn't going around telling people he was paralyzed forever, he still needed the wheelchair at that point, but he recovered enough that he could walk a little bit. I have a grandfather who needs a wheelchair, but he can walk, it's just hard for him. People were upset and assumed that because he got up he didn't need the wheelchair. That's just blatantly untrue. Others in the comment section of the interview mentioned in this video have also confirmed that it's a genuine thing that can happen.

Unpopular opinion: You can tell when hes in the hour long interview hes knowing that thats his big chance to make it look like he wasnt bad. " Biggest mistake was not updating " yea right, you just want to seem like thats what you actually think. If he actually thought it was no big deal that he was walking then he wouldnt have acted to caught in the act when he walked on stream. He saw the chance and he took it and rode it as hard as he could.

i was literally in a wheelchair for half a year because of an injury i sustained, then went on to physical therapy, and surgery and im getting better now. this honestly makes me so mad because unlike me, there are people who actually ARE disabled and NEED wheelchairs for their whole lives. Being in a wheelchair is very limiting to your everyday life especially if you not only cannot walk, but also have other disabilities that keep you in that chair because you cannot function on your own. This is not something someone should fake.

Everyone needs to watch the whole video and not just read the title because this is taken out of context, he was still recovering from being injured and he was slowly getting better but he didn't tell his stream that, so when he got up people thought he was faking it from which, it talks about this at the near near the end of the video with wavy web surf, that he did a follow-up video talking to him showing that he posted on his personal Facebook in a wheelchair way back before this talking about his injury.

It's not about if the injury was real or not. It's about the fact that he lied to his audience for years and was literally never once seen out of it until his accident. He literally admits his guilt the second he turns his camera down to hide it. Why defend an actual scumbag fraud? He had no problem lying to the faces of people that supported and cared for him for years about his condition. What makes you think he'd have any problem lying to people he doesn't know now or care about years later? The dude is just a fraud that wants a free pass in life by playing video games.
