“Here we have a picture of Ninja eating a taco. This clearly shows his descent into the pits of despair as his kingdom crashes and crumbles down around him. A dark metaphor for his conflicting relationship with both his fans, and his wife. No self respecting person would allow themselves to eat a taco on camera unless they’ve truly given up on all their hopes and dreams.” This narrator is an actual nutcase

In all honesty, Ninja did a fantastic job using that burst of fame to really get his name out there. Sure, he could have stayed stuck on Twitch for 10 hours a day sweating his ass off and would probably have kept more viewers than he has now, but he inevitably would have lost most of his viewers. Instead, he made a huge brand, made huge sponsorship deals, worked with celebrities, and really became the most widely known gamer of all time. I think that's worth losing some Twitch viewers tbh.

But, his career didn't die lmao. He would have lost his "fame" regardless of his taking the celebratiy and sponsership routes. Yeah it loses all authonticy and it's fake as hell, but it's a quick money fame grab till it runs out. It was a smart move for ninja to do this, he got his bag and he's now chilling just like everyone else with thier 1 hit wonders.

What I hate about Sunny is that he doesn't discusses influencers' personalities and decisions and what made them who they are and the whole thing. He only talks about money and stats and when they're "Dying off" this dude living in the matrix or some shit. Doesn't know about the human element.

    • @streamsos

That's not what his videos are for. They're literally about the decline of someone's career so obviously money and stats are main factors. Anyway he actually does talk about their personalities and decisions so you must have not watched many videos of him (I'm not trying to defend him to the moon because I don't like this video but I think some people made an assumption based on this one video, can't judge them but this doesn't reflect all of his videos)

X put into words exactly what I’ve always hated about Sunny. Sunny does a whole fuck ton of assuming, literally all of the time, and tries to present it as fact like he could possibly know what’s going on inside any specific creator’s head. He’s like those people that take one psychology class and are pretty sure they can tell if someone’s a serial killer by one twenty-second conversation.

Suddenly he wasn’t the best fortnite player anymore and his viewership went down dramatically. After a bit there was a second tournament and Ninja was even worse. His whole persona was this unbeatable fortnite guy who is just better than the rest. The moment the world saw the huge gap between him and some unknown players from Russia xD he wasn’t interesting enough. He knew that and so he said fuck it and took the mixer deal. xQc doesn't think the same as Ninja and i think that Ninja made great decisions, took money deals and ads, he should've just not been spineless and just spammed his codes all day while he could.
He probably made more money than xQc has currently, i think that xQc will surpass him but he's not doing any advertisments or sponsorships so he doesn't make that much money compared to 1 month that ninja could probably make like 25mil or more when he was popular just from his creator code, donations, subs, sponsorships, advertisments maybe even more? Now include Mixer deal and other contracts he probably made, don't see how is it a bad deal to get 50 mil upfront, compared to hoping you'll be lucky and stay popular or put more effort, some people just want to retire or relax.
When xQc was watching MasterChef,Hunter x Hunter, there was a chance for him to be permanently banned from twitch if these companies reported multiple episodes, so i don't see how he can even talk about what Ninja did wrong.
