I don't know about the rest of Europe but here in Belgium, our geography classes are split up per region and year in high school. So one year you'll get geography classes about Europe. The next year you'll get Africa. And so on. And with each year/region, we'll also skim past all of the flags of that particular region, even though the flags are not exam questions.

There is a bit of a mailbox meta in the nordics. He is correct that the mailbox was swedish, the finnish ones have a different shape and colors. It's not a mailbox where someone picks up mail, but send off mail. The postman comes and picks them up at the set time written on the mailbox.
The mail box thins is extra funny because I swear Swedish mailboxes are super unique looking compared to its neighbours. Finland has bright orange ones that are the same thickness all the way from the ground (sometimes paired with deep blue ones for 2nd class mail) and if i remember right, Norway has bright red ones that are either the same shape as the Finnish ones or absolutely tiny and wall mounted. :D
