I built two of these one gas motor and one huge giant electric motor on 8s exact same planes I been in the hobby for three years and only own 4 foam store bought horizon hobby planes I love my balsa planes they look way better and fly way better and enjoy building them and I'm 30 my dad used to build them back in the early 2000 when I was young and he flew airplanes for a while and stopped and then about 3 or 4 years ago I started flying and then I got really big in the building the balsa planes cuz there's so much fun to build especially when you got a nice laser cut kit for everything jigs together and you don't have to pin it to the plans that's real nice but the easiest way I've ever built has got to be the flight test simple Cub balsa version

I believe it was 1/4 inch.
How about spraying the inside of the canopy??
I don't have any experience with this but a smoked canopy would look awesome!
