Absolute Bonkers Movie & Reaction! Ribs are hurting from constant laughter! 😂😂😂 Looking forward to future drunk movie reactions like this! More power & God bless to the channel Wave Crew!
All the behind the scenes for this movie are equally amazing. Main actor: "I finished all my filming so I guess I'm done. I'm gonna cut my hair" Director: "WHY DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR, we still have half the movie to reshoot" Main actor: "we WHAT??"
11:35 I love that the stunt double is clearly another person that looks absolutely nothing like the driver so they had to cover his face with the blanket.
Reminds me of what Ed Wood did for Bela Lugosi when he died during filming of Plan 9 From Outer Space. Ed hired a guy who was taller, didn't look a thing like Lugosi, and had him hold his cape in front of his face.
They did that because people thought Frank was breaking into a place in real life, so they reshot the scene so he wouldn't be climbing over a fence in broad daylight...
The scene at 46:52 has probably my favourite moment in the entire movie. When the Captain says: *_“I want you to find that motherf*ckin’ Japanese gangster! I want you to to kill him and I want you to kill every one of his men! I want you to turn his house into a bloodbath! DON’T LEAVE ANYBODY ALIVE!”_* and the frickin’ epic synth music comes out of nowhere in the middle of his rant. I just find that moment absolutely hilarious.
13:49 i love that the camera shot keeps getting higher every time it cuts back to him, you see less and less of his beard. It's like the set he's in is sinking.
If nobody's ever seen it, Red Letter Media have done an interview with the actor for the Samurai Cop and he actually seems like the coolest guy in the world
this movie is pure fucking gold, especially the scene were frank asks him what Katana means and hes like it means Japanese sword so much meme material in this one
55:22 I like how Eric gets excited about sword fight and Rick in the background is laughing like: "Oh, you naive hopeful soul. Don't you know what movie we're watching?"
My personal favorite good bad film! I've seen it over a dozen times, own it on DVD, and have made all of my closest friends enjoy this cinematic masterpiece!
Still watching, holy crap I can't believe you guys are letting Rick publicly plot your murders with that drinking game. Rick: "Take a drink every time someone looks directly into camera." Me: '...oh no...this is definitely an attempted murder on camera. Rick, no!'
I looked after Matt Hannon (or Mathew Karedas) for a week when he came with Samurai Cop 1 and 2 here in Madrid, and we became friends. He's actually really funny, and has had quite the life.
This movie is legendary for all the wrong reasons. The story of the making of this film is just as entertaining as the movie itself. There's even a sequel that came out in 2015.
28:25 "This Lion Bitch" when I tell you I laughed so much 40:32 WHAAT LOOOOLLLLL I'm right there with Eric. I feel like he looking at this like 'How did this get made and released' 😆😆
Best part about this reaction is I was at the bar when it dropped. So I put my earbuds in and sat at my usual gambling machine, constantly getting more shots. Love these drinking reactions, even when I'm sober!
I just have OSW's review of this movie burned into my brain, after the fight with Z'Dar I just hear "Despite having a broken neck, HE GETS TO HIS FEET!"
I feel like Eric would've appreciated the sword fight more if he knew that both swords were completely real and sharp, which makes the whole scene terrifying even with speed ramping. Gerald Okamura provided them from his own collection. I also love the whole scene with Johnson and his wife being killed because it'c clearly Gerald Okamura's house with all the martial arts awards all over the walls and the giant trophies in the room. Gerald gave so much to so many crap low budget movies like this. An unsung hero of this film and so many others. Also knowing that all the single closeups of monologues and reaction shots were shot in the director's office a long time after the fact. I do like that they drew the lethal weapon connection immediately when the entire thing is a blatant lethal weapon rip off with it's set up of the main characters.
The guy who plays Joe Marshall, Matt Hannon/Karedas, has a short but eventful Wikipedia page. As a former bodyguard for Sylvester Stalone, he wanted to get into acting after seeing all of Stalone's success. Obviously it didn't really go anywhere especially after Samurai Cop. In 1992, he was part of an armed robbery and stole a Rembrandt painting, which was found later at the house of one of Samurai Cop's stunt coordinators; Karedas was caught and spent time in prison. Not sure for how long, but apparently long enough for him to have not known that Samurai Cop gained cult movie status. In 2015 Samurai Cop 2 was made, with his daughter as a producer, and he reprised his role. NOW HERE'S WHAT KILLED ME. I didn't know there even was a Samurai Cop 2. I looked at the cast list and there I saw Tommy Wiseau. I had to search it up and watched one of my favorite pieces of cinema ever. It was a Tommy Wiseau's character vs. Joe Marshall fight scene in Samurai Cop 2. It's amazing.
So so many recommendations for movies like this. Father's Day, Surf Nazi's Must Die, Terror Firmer, Tromeo and Juliet, Class of Nukem High, Dragon Fury
The main actor felt SO BAD during the fight with the main bad guy WHO IS PLAYED BY AN ACTUALSWORDSMAN. 😅 Imagine knowing nothing and you're supposed to go against a really amazing guy and win.
16:22 - In response to Aaron's question: "Why did we have that whole sequence?" "To show that he's a sex icon in Los Angeles!" "But nobody wanted him!" Not Joe! Frank! 15:44 - Look at how hopeful he looks, like this could be his big chance, implying that Frank has a jumbo jet penis. 16:06 - Trying to get that last minute application in... again implying that Frank has a jumbo jet penis. 40:08. Confirmation that Frank has a big penis, because this guy is trying to cut it off.
6:10 - That came out so suddenly that for a second, i thought he was trying to bribe the chick in the helicopter to keep looking. Like Deadpool, "Right next to the cure for blindness."
Is it bad to say I prefer samurai cop over the room? I dunno, I feel like the room’s only real fun to watch for people’s reactions versus this where you can just watch with some friends and laugh about how dumb it is.
This movie, Killing American Style and Miami Connection are my favorite bad movies of all time. Oh you guys have to react to " The Stuff" and " R.O.T.O.R" as well.
Watching this movie again with you guys was a treat! So bad, but so entertaining. If I had to recommend another bad movie for you guys to watch, hands down it would have to be Fathers Day(2011) To this day I think about that movie and how wild of a ride it was.
This came out the same year as backdraft and Star Trek the undiscovered country… hahah it is said it was all shot in daytime bc they couldn’t afford lights and the cars were owned by the actors
That One Guy Okamura is the Referee from Hot Shots Part Deux, and is the Sensei from that one episode of Power Rangers WIld Force. Hes in SO MANY MOVIES OMG.

You should react to TORQUE
Do you have a bad movie playlist?
Fun fact: Tommy Wiseau is in Samurai Cop 2.
Absolute Bonkers Movie & Reaction!
Ribs are hurting from constant laughter! 😂😂😂
Looking forward to future drunk movie reactions like this!
More power & God bless to the channel Wave Crew!
Red Letter Media have a wonderful two-part interview with the Star - Mr Samurai Cop himself! It’s wonderful! Hold onto your wig!!
36:30 Aaron's vibe shifted immediately, I've never seen him focus up that quick lmfao
LMAO I can't believe I missed that the first time I watched this reaction
@@jaysmith8505 *gets out notes*
Bro hit his second wind expeditiously
Lmfao
The fact that the lead actor is wearing a wig for a substantial part of the movie is incredible
not just a wig a bad wig
All the behind the scenes for this movie are equally amazing.
Main actor: "I finished all my filming so I guess I'm done. I'm gonna cut my hair"
Director: "WHY DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR, we still have half the movie to reshoot"
Main actor: "we WHAT??"
HELLA WIG 😂
Half the movie to be precise
I think the scenes when he looks like Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman is when he's wearing the wig. 🤣
The skepticism on Eric's face during the *entire* movie is fucking hysterical.
16:36 I don't think I've ever seen Eric laugh so enthusiastically
Love when they do drunk reactions lmao. I still rewatch their The Room reaction now and then :') so funny
38:40 might just be the most underrated joke Calvin has ever said, it's fucking hilarious
I had to jump to that when I saw the comment.
"Why'd you come under?"
"Cause I'm an undercover cop!"
Laugh track, credits roll.
@James F It's one of the best parts.
Bro that had me on the floor crying with laughter
13:49 i love that the camera shot keeps getting higher every time it cuts back to him, you see less and less of his beard. It's like the set he's in is sinking.
45:05 Erik was wrong. This butt transition is the most artistic shot in the movie
I don’t understand why people don’t vote for bad movies more often. They’re always the best reaction.
I love these style reactions. Glad we get one every so often
That’s thanks to Rick, he loves them shitty Z movies.
I wish they would do more of them
Look up Jason Brant/So Bad It's Good. Reacting to these kind of movies is their thing.
@@rickyd-lux9067 so does redlettermedia
@@jpops1258they need time to recover
Ever since The Room reaction I was hoping they'd check this one out as well. My day has been made!
There is a Samurai Cop 2.... and TOMMY WISEAU IS IN IT!!!
Aaron: This got popular? by who?
Calvin: People like Rick.
Aaron: Rick, f*ck you!
The passion is Aaron's voice was amazing!
Never stop doing these. Your video of The Room is still my favourite reaction to rewatch.
I really hope a Neil Breen movie ends up this list!
I was just thinking this
Or Freddy go fingered. Rick says he hates movies that are purposely bad
If they thought it couldn't get any worse than this, they would be in for a big surprise with Neil Breen movies. 😂
Hope the one with twin brother story 😂
@@Muz__27 I'm certain that it's not a surprise for Rick
If nobody's ever seen it, Red Letter Media have done an interview with the actor for the Samurai Cop and he actually seems like the coolest guy in the world
Yep, terrific interview.
Theres nothing more I enjoy then watching Rick enjoy bad movies, his joy is so pure!
I believe it was Eric said in one video Rick has literally no malice or negativity when he watches and enjoys a bad movie or show.
this movie is pure fucking gold, especially the scene were frank asks him what Katana means and hes like it means Japanese sword so much meme material in this one
I had to pause at 36:40 because Aaron's reaction made me laugh so hard 🤣
Update: again at 41:17 🤣🤣 it hurts from laughing!! Poor Aaron 😂
55:22 I like how Eric gets excited about sword fight and Rick in the background is laughing like: "Oh, you naive hopeful soul. Don't you know what movie we're watching?"
Nothing funnier than Rober Z’dar sneaking in through the hospital basket, when he is DISGUISED AS A DOCTOR!
Just in case of… something.
You never know who’s watching for a 6ft 6 doctor to kill a man😂
My personal favorite good bad film!
I've seen it over a dozen times, own it on DVD, and have made all of my closest friends enjoy this cinematic masterpiece!
When the guy came out of the hamper, I don’t think I’ve heard a heartier laugh come out of Eric.
It's been a long time since we had a drinking reaction on Blind Wave. To Samurai Cop of all things makes this reaction all the more funny !😂
love how disappointed aaron eric and calvin get while rick just loves every second of it
This movie is legendary for all the wrong reasons. The story of the making of this film is just as entertaining as the movie itself. There's even a sequel that came out in 2015.
28:25 "This Lion Bitch" when I tell you I laughed so much

I'm right there with Eric. I feel like he looking at this like 'How did this get made and released' 😆😆
"Shoot him... shoot him... shoot him... shoot him... Got him!" - GOATed bad screenplay
Best part about this reaction is I was at the bar when it dropped. So I put my earbuds in and sat at my usual gambling machine, constantly getting more shots. Love these drinking reactions, even when I'm sober!
RiffTrax does a great job with this movie.
I would love a Blind Wave Samurai Cop skit
Oh man I just noticed ! How can they cut the what does katana mean part ? Cmon Rick you know that's the most iconic line in this movie.
I wish Rick had a channel discussing bad movies. That would make him and his viewers so happy.
you're gonna love this. the voiceovers are the best.😂
Even though Rick has seen this many times, i'm pretty sure gonna see him laugh so hard for this movie.
While I love the Room, this movie has brought me so much joy over the years. I've never laughed as hard at any comedy as I do while watching this.
Thanks for this guys ! I laughed so hard ! Another iconic movie done. Please someone make them watch night killer next !!!!
Eric is so offended at what he's watching. It's hilarious
I just have OSW's review of this movie burned into my brain, after the fight with Z'Dar I just hear "Despite having a broken neck, HE GETS TO HIS FEET!"
Robert Z'Dar was a treasure.
“But no other letters” was an underrated joke 😂😂
I think that was truly MST3K worthy. Kudos to Calvin!
I completely lost it with the "wait a minute" guy 🤣🤣
YES! Samurai Cop to me is what The Room is to Rick!
He looks like you asked an A.I. to describe Bruce Campbell and spatt up the samurai cop, LOL
Fun fact, the composer was also the lawyer.
Is anybody else disturbed by the fact that this is probably the closest to a live-action Nightwing movie we're probably ever going to get??
Chris Stuckmann's review of this years ago introduced me to this masterpiece 🤣. This was a great reaction
Ah, Samurai Cop. You sirs are scholars and gentlemen for enjoying this piece of fine art.
I need a Neil Breen movie reaction from them😆😁😅🤣😂
Id be 100% down to watch these old school B movies!

@1:04:26. Best quote of the reaction: Parents that don't have kids, they often have sex in the day.

The locked sliding door thing made me laugh so hard, my floating ribs hurt.
One of the movies ever created
I WILL BRING YOU HIS HEAD AND I WILL PLACE IT ON YOUR PIANO

16:22 - In response to Aaron's question:
"Why did we have that whole sequence?"
"To show that he's a sex icon in Los Angeles!"
"But nobody wanted him!"
Not Joe!
1:04:26 "Parents that don't have kids..." I understood what he was trying to say but I still lol'd.
22:38 - He prepared for this role by working as a lifeguard on water slide duty.
that's perfect 🤣
🎶Then the bad guy dies and you realize they didn't apprehend a single criminal 🎶
6:10 - That came out so suddenly that for a second, i thought he was trying to bribe the chick in the helicopter to keep looking. Like Deadpool, "Right next to the cure for blindness."
I feel so terrible for the guy at 25:07 - he got lit up right after he put his left arm back on.
Seeing dippers hat in the thumbnail had me looking out my window reminiscing
I can't decide who i like more, Frank or the Captain. Easily the best characters in the "movie"
I would love to see your guys reaction to some Neil Breen gold 😄
yknow, i thought the room was bad.. but this? this is truly something special
Is it bad to say I prefer samurai cop over the room? I dunno, I feel like the room’s only real fun to watch for people’s reactions versus this where you can just watch with some friends and laugh about how dumb it is.
Rick just cackling the entire time 💀
Coming straight from the John Wick Chapter 4 reaction to this is fucking WILD
I watched this on VHS when I was 10 .. I was cracking up laughing 😂😂😂. This feels like kung pow 😂😆.
There's a sequel I haven't watched yet.😮 😮
This movie, Killing American Style and Miami Connection are my favorite bad movies of all time. Oh you guys have to react to " The Stuff" and " R.O.T.O.R" as well.
41:12 the dive
Nothing makes me happier than seeing Rick's pure unadulterated joy at watching s***y movies.
Iconic movie right here lmao
20:50 Wow, they even got Pedro Pascal from Wish in this movie.
I like how this group of reactors knew more about filmmaking than the entire team of samurai cop .....
Watching this movie again with you guys was a treat! So bad, but so entertaining. If I had to recommend another bad movie for you guys to watch, hands down it would have to be Fathers Day(2011)

No! Nooooo..You guys didn't! I can't believe you've done this. This is hilarious. You gotta follow this up with Miami Connection next.
This just makes me want them to react to Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.
The fights in Lucifer are perfectly fine.
Eric's bewildered head turn at 16:16 made laugh so hard!
"this guy tried so hard"
Calvin: "got so far"
Me, as nobody picked up on it: BUT IN THEEE EEEEEEND....
That One Guy Okamura is the Referee from Hot Shots Part Deux, and is the Sensei from that one episode of Power Rangers WIld Force. Hes in SO MANY MOVIES OMG.
36:58 "..that's HIM?!" 😂🤣
“Or I can relieve you of his gift, this black gift”
At 11:35, the guy burning stops screaming, picks his head up and looks directly into the camera as if nothing ever happened
Aaron at 1:01:26 "... cause he came" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 perfect explanation
I'm glad I never watched the whole of this movie myself. This reaction was bad enough, but hilarious at the same time 😂😂. Wow...... just wow
lol i love the editing at the end of the reaction
40:31 I suppose that’s one way to call it 😂
“Parents that don’t have kids do it during the day all the time” Yes Aaron. All those parents without kids. 🤦♂️
Somebody on the San Diego P.D. saw Cadet Joe throw a terrible kick once, jokingly started calling him "Samurai" and Joe just ran with it forever.😎
Oh my God.. the Last Fight.. it was amazing..
