When I go into the settings and change something, and save the changes, a small hearing aid appears at top of my phones home screen. If I click on "clear all" that small icon goes away. Do I have to have that icon showing in order for my settings to be in effect? I notice sometimes that when the icon is gone, my hearing aid setting is back to "normal".
The app is not bad. But this is my second Samsung phone and on both phones the app keeps disconnecting in the background without my being aware of it. On average I'd say it is unable to stay connected for more than 2 hours at a time. This means that if I lose one hearing aid, the odds of my being able to use the "find my device" function are 50%.
Well... hmmm... your question asks 'where to go' - are you asking where in the room you should be to hear someone from a distance? If you are using an iphone you can use the 'listen live' feature and put your phone closer to the speaker. Do you want to know HOW to listen to a conversation from another room? Are the people speaking in the other room communicating with you or just to each other? Hearing aids can use a remote microphone. You put the microphone in the room near the people speaking and their voice will stream to your hearing aids. Hope that helps!

Yeah that's another thing that's missing. There's no button in the app to close the app without signing out, which you don't want to do of course. You need to go into your settings and force stop the app.

No, smartphones only, laptop Bluetooth doesn't work.

This happened to me with the connection and i found i had to get it sent away to get repaired.

@@genevahears I turned off the demo mode but it is still showing a blue demo square on the Home Screen that says demo
