I know this sounds dumb but the best time to visit the island is in the winter. It was February of 09 and I was 10 years old. My dads boss owned a big house and he lent it to us for 2 weeks since we had February break, and that was some of the most magical moments of my life, even though had been to Europe many times , something about the charm of the island in that state is so peaceful, since you don’t have to worry about the crowds, you can experience all of the best things about the island, and surprisingly most of the attractions are still open. From the alpaca farms to the oak Bluff sunset, it never gets old every year 11/10 one of my favorite places on the planet.
My home away from home. I've spent many summers as a kid on the Island and as an adult, have taken my children there. I love it there......
