For anyone who is considering a trip to Martha’s Vineyard I want to let you know that most of the places you’ll find in travel reviews are either closed or running on a differed schedule due to COVID. Also if you do go, go in the summer because in the fall and winter it’s miserable snow and cold weather and all of the fun lifestyle goes away. Edit: and most flights to MV only run in the summer.

Are people allowed to swim? Or the water is too cold? 😆 I notice every video I see, no one is swimming at the beach

Yes! People definitely swim (and paddleboard and kayak) - there are several beaches on Martha's Vineyard.

People do swim, but btw if you want to go to a beach then I don’t recommend West Tisbury, Chilmark, or Aquinah cause those are the beaches for rich islanders and the beaches are for town residents only.

Although Lobsterville and Menemsha have small shallow tiny wave beaches.
