For those who have problems with the cuts being inverted and problems with the texture, in the node that is selected as “Subtract”, change to “Multiply”. 4:48
This tutorial along with the train one have to be among the best Blender motion graphics examples on youtube. You've got a good style for teaching because you show the effects of nodes on a split screen so it's visual rather than just spoken. Great channel 👍🏼🦘
Thank you. :) It takes quite a bit of time to do the split screen and everything, it makes me happy to know that it helps with the clarity of the tutorial.
Come on, man his voice over is amazing. The tutorial is perfect in every way. The VO,the video editing, the content, and even the thumbnail. Nothing can be better.
Haha, don't know if that's good or bad. But joking aside, I cut out all the empty spaces to make the tutorials as short as possible, and therefore, not waste viewers' time.
Holy shit dude the production value on this video is top notch! excellent pacing, demonstration and examples. also just, showing the setup per effect, chef's kiss my dude. Thanks for putting out such great content bruvh
@Sina Sinaie....problems with boolean mod here (tried exact method too but its worse)....the slices intersect and make shader issues and artifacts....and GN didnt work for me (using 3.3.1)
Enable the Bool Tool addon, make an array of evenly spaced cubes over the object to slice it, press ctrl + numpad /, enable self intersection on both objects, apply both modifiers, then separate the slices with L then P
Outstanding video, very clear and concise explanation. I'm currently trying to implement one of the transitions into my (hobby) project. Thanks a lot for all the effort you put into this.
How do you apply color to it? Even if I apply color, it does not appear in the render view. 5:55 If you put a Multiply value, it will not rotate and will only animate at one angle to its numerical state. I don't know Why.
How to make that but with another effect? Like a glow effect so I mean it starts to glow and then it's another object Could you do on that a tutourial too? Or another tutourial idea: how to make an object reflect in a mirror or water but the reflection is another object then the actually object
Thanks, :) Unfortunately, the license doesn't allow me to share it. But it nothing special either, a generic "magic" sound with a bit of time-stretch to slow it down.
in blender version 3.0.1 I can't find a Map range node with the "Float" option. Does this happen because the blender versions are different? explanation please. thank you!
Hmmm, that shouldn't be the case. I have successfully used it with metal and specular. Do you see the cuts on the original sliced objects, or the geometry node's copy of the objects?
Unfort, still impossible to have the same results....doing exactly like the video but boolean modifier didn´t work well, Geometry nodes totally wrong behavior (in ex. the model turns backside and not front, )...very bad.....strange cause using same Blender vs (3.3.1)....
You have to do the booleans in reverse. Meaning select the objects in the opposite order than the video to keep the materials. It’s some extra work because you have to duplicate the master object.

Hands down best Blender Tutorials around. Please dont stop doing these!
Thanks, will do!
Dang, the editing and planning must take a lot of time, there is no unnecessary step, every demonstration is on point

@@sinasinaie The effort is greatly appreciated, a visual reference just pulls the tutorial into perspective & clarity.👍🏼
Thank you Sir
Best blender man in the world. Thank you for your precious effort.
Thank you for the support, :)
Awesome! - Somehow the final presentations along with the sound brought up the memory of "Tron"...
Huh, interesting. :)

This tutorial is great but why does your voice over make it sound like my life is on the line with every step lmao

amazing tutorial, thank you
Love the beginning of your tutorial! You did it very well! Cool👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, :)
Awesome, thank you for this tutorial!
Thank you for watching.
can you please make a short or something on making the background , TYSM
I'll put it on my list.
But in the meantime, I suggest watching @Ducky 3D's videos on creating backgrounds and lighting.

This is really cool stuff, thank you so much!
What blender version is this?. Can this work on other blender versions?
Wow this tutorial is so well made! Wish you more subs.
Thank you, :)
Cool effect! Thanx! :)
Glad to know you like it, :)
hello Mr Sina, this tutorial didnt work like yours when i tried it,im using blender 3.6
cool one
I want to immitate it . Satisfying to watch
Bro, how do you make the material the same as the logo? 0.30
very nice video. may i please ask if you could share the link to the Sound Effect of the animation?
Thanks, :)
Unfortunately, the license doesn't allow me to share it. But it nothing special either, a generic "magic" sound with a bit of time-stretch to slow it down.
@@sinasinaie thanks. may i ask is it possible to share the publisher's link so i can Buy they're sound effect from there?
I keep trying, but once i create the boolean and duplicate it, my mesh looks like a mess. Somebody please help.
in blender version 3.0.1 I can't find a Map range node with the "Float" option. Does this happen because the blender versions are different? explanation please. thank you!
I get shading issues wherever the slices interlap. Is there a way to fix?
add more vertices to your mesh. either the original, or the cube. for me i subdivided the cube more than once.
If i use some material with metal or even specular the cuts can be seen between the slices. Is there a way to fix that ?
Hmmm, that shouldn't be the case.
I have successfully used it with metal and specular.
Do you see the cuts on the original sliced objects, or the geometry node's copy of the objects?
I've change the "Overlap Threshold" in the solver option - to 0.01m...works for me.
Can i get the audio of flipping
very good tutorial sina, I've learned a lot. are you from iran?
Thank you, and yes.
@@sinasinaie oh good, a person like you is a source of pride. congratulation. 👏
hey man how are you why you left us long time no blender creation
I'm well, thanks. Just took a break. Been planing some nice videos for 2023. :)
I hope you're doing well too.
please this didn't work, when i tried it,the geo node version was overscaled

for some reason my build is not working :(
Everything works, as soon as I plug the dot product into scale everything disappears
It was an scaling issue :) sorted
@@georgebergh5810how did you fix this?
Won't work with Texture Painting or one or more Materials!
I'm pretty sure it would work with a bit of extra effort.

damn ur voice
hmmm, I'll take that as a compliment, :)
