thank you for breaking down the reasons of using each node, to better understand the workflow. Not that many tutorials do that. I really appreciate it, thus i subscribed!! keep up the amazing work!! ♥ ♥
Bro.... I really really really appreciate not only the fact you took the time to share your knowledge with this video but the way you do it, straight to the point, saving everyone's time from long intros otr extended explanations. These effects in only a 7 mins video is amazing. Plus the SUBSCRIBE in the group node name LOL. Plus, the minimal animations and sound effects are on point. Thanks a lot! Subbed&liked!!!
WOW! That first placing all nodes needed and then explaining their functionality makes it so good to understand. Especially as I am still struggling to understand the use of all the math and vector math nodes.
Dude, I've been blown away by the production quality of this tutorial. I can tell that you've devoted lots of time to post-processing the tut! In addition to that, you've given it some thought as to how to present stuff, so your approach to learning is also top notch! Hats off, you've earned a new subscriber! :)
This has been a bit of a god send for creating portfolio intros and giving some gravitas to my assessments for group work and specialisation, thank you very much for the work you put into this beautiful tutorial!
This is awesome. This is one of the beste effects tutorial I have ever seen. Crystal clear, on point and with an extra "bing" ;) Very helpful! Thank you so much for it!
Oh my God, this is the type of effect that are not annoying but very entertaining. But of course, color combination for train and background is awesome, so it is not just about the effect that really makes it look cool)
Of all the node tutorials I've seen so far, this is the best explained. Easy, well structured, simple to understand. Thank you very much for your work.
Wow, this is the best blender tutorial I've ever seen. I like how you lay out all the nodes before connecting them so it's easier to follow along and not get lost.
Once again ....... just BRILLIANT! Unique and informative. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Thank you for producing such an incredible tutorial. THANK YOU! Dg
Wow the tutorial is very well done. You were suggested to me the first time. Have a long time break from Blender made because of stress in university. But now that I'm doing a bit more in blender again and see your channel I feel like watching many of your tutorials. Blender is just such a relaxing hobby and it's great that there are people like you who make cool tutorials for free. Because I do not always have money left for blender courses. They usually go too deep into the details and I prefer to play around with the individual features.
I agree, it is indeed a relaxing hobby, once one gets past that initial learning. I'm happy you decided to start using blender again. There are so many amazing channels with free tutorials on youtube, you will never be left without a great tutorial. Good luck with Blender, and with Uni.
Is there any way I can move the "Text" object to a different position from the "Train" object? I'm trying to dissolve an object to convert it into another one that is below.
Ive watched countless tuts for beginners and at first it looked totally intimidating but you made it simple for me to understand and Im a fan of your craft!
Very good mate. Amazing tutorial and slickly produced. For me though, and I don't know why but the Animator object stops working after adding in the Capture Attribute nodes. And for some reason the GN object is halved along the Y axis instead of X.
Same here. My project is using a plane moving along the Z-axis. When I added Capture Attribute node it flips to the orientation it is in the tutorial. HELP!
Great tutorial. It has a spectacular result and the tutorial is very well animated, fast, cheerful and with good information. Many thanks for your work!
Your tutorials are excellent, the truth is that you lose the fear of Geometry Nodes, and you allow us to see the potential it has. Thank you very much for your dedication to teaching and using it.
I appreciate the support. I work a full time job, so I can only do these tutorials over my free time. And support from viewers like you makes it worthwhile. So, thank you.
One of the best blender tutorials I have seen! The editing and presentation are amazing. Can you maybe share tools you use to create your tutorials? Maybe even a video on your whole process?
That's a interesting idea, perhaps in the future. But to answer part of your question, aside from Blender, I use Audacity for sound recording and Davinci Resolve (free version) for video editing.
By far the best tutorial I’ve watched ever….So detailed yet so easy to digest on how you do it. Thank you for creating this video. Do make more videos like this 🙏🏻 . Already subscribe and like your video. Looking forward for more in the future .
great tutorial! thanks! any idea how to get the textures working properly as mines display as single colour on the plane even after redoing the uvs please
yes thanks, this however doesn’t allow for further simulation as you can see the texture following the object or camera, i believe i hve figured it by now but left it behind in memory 😅😂
For the love of Mike can you please make a video on how to create this tutorial so that other tutorial creators like myself could be as awesome as you are at making tutorials This is so professional
Thank you so much this reminds of something you would see on network TV... And I think as creators that's where we should aim is what we learned growing up with network TV
Wow...Amazing tutorilal. This is just what i need. How did you link the animated plane(boundary for the transition effect) to the geometry node effect such that when the boundary plane moves, the geometry node effect moves with it?
Thank you for the tutorial!! Huge respect for this one exactly what I was searching!!!! Im encountering one problem what if i want to change the axis of dissintegration that it wouldnt be on the x axis but on y?? Maybe it is a quick and easyw ay to do it? Thank you again!!!!!
1:15 I applied "Geometry Nodes", but as shown in the video, the Inputs/Outputs menu doesn't come out in Group tap, and the Interface menu comes out, so how can I solve it? Also, how do I play the animation like it appears in the video? I'm sorry if the question is stupid
Thanks for the video really great stuff, I am having one issue and that is that all of my object in my collection only appears in black wire frame mode and not shaded. I try it with less complex shape and every thing is fine. Any ideas on the cause of that?
Thank you a lot for this tutorial. But when I tried to do the same thing, it didn't work and I don't know why. When I finished adding the power node and connecting it to the scale elements node, then I pressed the play button, nothing happen.
Hey there! I just loved the animation and the easiness of creating it. The explanation however was indeed understandable to mostly a beginner. I tried rendering the animation and I'm noticing that the hidden collection object and text is still visible in the final render also the animator is visible too despite being hidden. Can we fix it?
Hi there ! Love ur work. Could u perhaps explain to me where you got the menu The inputs and output sections ( tools groups and views) I can't seem to find a way to get it
Hello You did an amazing art and I Followed all your steps but when i moved the animator it didnt bring any effect on the train ..Can you help me out with this?
Amazing tutorial!!
Wow! that means a lot coming from the one and only @Polyfjord.

you are really thorough in your explanation in vids. Keep up the good job
Thanks, will do!
3:35 , if you were to do a full 180º rotation before the train effect (appears) or dissapears, how would you add a transform node there?
Difficult to write it down here. But this video might help you:

As a train and Blender lover - I approve. Very cool video!
precise, short and awesome tutorial... i will watch this many times... love your style.
Awesome, thank you!
It is possible to use "Evaluate on Domain" for position instead of "Capture Attribute" for more concise network :)
Hi bro, Thanks for the tutorial. When I apply the "Capture attribute" the objects face getting misplaced. Is there any way to fix that. Thanks

Amazing tutorial.. right on the points
if you don't mind.. could you show us how to do a small rotation on the Faces?
great tutorial! thanks! any idea how to get the textures working properly as mines display as single colour on the plane even after redoing the uvs please
you can change the shading from UV to OBJECT and it will display it perfectly on the plane! :)
yes thanks, this however doesn’t allow for further simulation as you can see the texture following the object or camera, i believe i hve figured it by now but left it behind in memory 😅😂
Amazing but is there a way to merge vertices that are away from plane for shade smooth to work?
keep it up bro, your channel is helping people alot, thank you so much!!!
Thanks, will do!
Amazing stuff! 👏

Wow its Awesome ❤
For the love of Mike can you please make a video on how to create this tutorial so that other tutorial creators like myself could be as awesome as you are at making tutorials This is so professional

Wow...Amazing tutorilal. This is just what i need. How did you link the animated plane(boundary for the transition effect) to the geometry node effect such that when the boundary plane moves, the geometry node effect moves with it?
Thanks for watching.
It's linked through the "object info" node in the GN setup.

great tutorial. I can't wait to use this workflow.
Is it possible to use nodes to control the rotation of individual instances on a curve in order to create, for example, an animation of cutting grass?
how about flip rotation of the face? which one should change?
Will You release the train model for the public? I liked it really much! Great tutorial btw!
I´m having a problem at the beginning where I can´t see the input menu on the side bar to change it into a collection. Thanks!
BROOO thankyou so much, this really helped and the tutorial was really easy to use as well :)

This tutorial is amazing. It helped me make very good transitions. I wanted to see how to add set shade smooth to that node tree.
Glad it was helpful!
Hello, I'm just starting out, I don't understand whether we are adding the train to the blender.
