The Elf Halo Glow is a great foundation mix in. It makes my foundations look better! I’m slowly trying it with all of them.

I feel like you might enjoy the Mac studio radience primer, I get similar results to the bobbi brown with it but a bit more glowy and less thick and lux feeling.
i had a deluxe sample of the bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base sitting in my drawer for a year as i was finishing up a bunch of older primers. finally decided i was going to open it at the beginning of the year, and i fell in love.
nothing, absolutely nothing, has ever made makeup look so good on me. my skin is normal-dry but i have texture issues (& hollow, dark undereyes). i was just stunned & totally understood the hype.
i’ve had to force myself to use up the rest of my primers this year, with the bb face base on my wishlist to buy during the holiday sales. i’m almost done with the others & can’t wait to have that back.

Supergoop makes a sunscreen with primer built in. Unseen sunscrre, I love it.
I just ordered my third bottle of the Merit Glow Serum! I combine that with the Bobbi Brown Face Base and my dry, mature skin looks so hydrated.
Do you use them over sunscreen?

Instead of Merit oil, I like Roen Elixir. It’s less glossy but very hydrating.
I honestly prefer the Power Grip primer over the Jelly Pop. I also like to get the minis of powergrip because the shelf life is so short??? It says only 3 months on my tube of the original but 12 months on the niacinamide infused one 😮
Aww...I was just looking into buying Kjaer Weis primer and was so hoping it would be part of this video...have you ever tried it? I was intrigued by it because I actually do not wear foundation and it seems like a good stand-alone product.

Great video! I’m just surprised to see Hard Candy, so Walmart appearing everywhere lately while the Hard Candy products are more and more disappearing from the Walmart stores, strange…
In the WalMart near me that has the largest makeup dept., all Hard Candy products disappeared for a couple of weeks while a larger display space was created. I'm in Southern California, so I imagine this is a top tier sales area; maybe these space allotment decisions are made at a regional level?
@@MyCleverHandle I personally never go to Walmart because it is a little far from me and honestly, I don’t like it, I order sometimes (rarely) from Walmart, but I heard a lot of people complaining that Hard Candy was never in their Walmart. So yes, maybe each store does its own decision? I am just surprised by this Hard Candy obvious new advertising campaign while they are not especially the kind of products that we are craving to have and waiting for. I don’t understand their strategy, maybe am I missing something? I only have two Hard Candy products so far, they are just ok, but both had their packaging breaking right away even though I am a very careful person with my products. So I am not a super fan of their brand.

I have heard nothing but amazing things about the Rhode Glazing Milk. I’d love to try it but there’s coconut alkanes in the ingredient list, so that’s a hard no for me.

Either way is fine - just make sure if you're putting primer on over sunscreen that the sunscreen has completely dried down first
I'm looking for a good matte spray and primer. I like Urban Decay but wondering if there is a better option. I just started wearing makeup when I turned 50 and it's been close to two years and I'm still learning. It's been so much fun spending all my money.😢😊

I have combo skin and for my oily area, I think the Colleen Rothchild Black Tourmaline primer. It has charcoal in it and it is excellent. I also love Lancome La Base and Makeup Forever. I use the pore minimizer one.

Sunscreen is the last step in your skincare routine. Primer is the first complexion step in your makeup routine.

I used to love Bobbi Brown's face base, but the smell is wayyyy too strong.

My question is always about the effect of some primers over sunscreen. It is definitely a no-no to apply a moisturizer over a sunscreen. It will break down the sunscreen. I find it bothering when influencers advise people to apply these types of products over their sunscreen when we know UV damage is the #1 reason for premature skin aging and sunscreen should always take precedence. It would be terrific if influencers would show concern for their viewers and encourage protecting the skin. Beautiful skin needs less makeup.
Would a foundation or basically anything put over a sunscreen break it down too then?
