What did you think about this axe? Anything you think I should have added or done differently?
Should of gold inlayed your makers mark in the center of the engraving, looks off with just the lines but I love the purple heart handle. Only thing I would of changed about the handle would of been to use a contrasting wooden wedge like hard maple. Looks great!
looks absolutly insane but the shape reminded me of the batman logo somhow
@@kermitderfrosch5432 you beat me to it, and that’s the exact same thought I had, Batman logo is all but there, and this finished product is already off the charts with quality but that’s the one suggestion I’d have 😂
@@kermitderfrosch5432 same lol
Not going to lie after I saw your copper Damascus work I started looking for more things like that and nothing I found was as good as your work
I’ve been watching this channel for a while now, and honestly, it’s a privilege to watch someone as talented as you do their thing and do it in such a fine and meticulous way.
Thanks so much! I appreciate you following the channel!
@@TyrellKnifeworks No problem man, keep doing what you do best.
To everyone involved in this challenge,
I have been watching most of you for quite a while. I am a huge supporter of small businesses, especially those that create and add a sense of community. All of you have done a great job doing both of those things. Thank you for sharing your journey’s with us. Good luck everyone
Thanks for watching all the builds, Chad! 👍
That pattern is insane. Those lines following the profile of the blade as it flares out looks amazing.
Thanks for checking it out, Bernhard!
Amazing build, also very cool of you to support and give props to such a young maker for the draw knife.
This whole challenge is about promoting makers. 👍. Thanks for watching!
Hello! Jaxon Bennion here, the guy who made the drawknife, I had a great time making it and was so excited to see how it was used!
@@jaxonbennion8764 Thanks again! The draw knife worked out great.
Wow! That would be the envy of Gimli the Dwarf!! Gorgeous!

Thanks for watching, Juan!
Sir, you have earned yourself a subscriber. I’m really glad that UA-cam algorithm suggested me this video & I just loved it. Your narration style is really commendable, the way that you described the entire process of making this badass axe, really made me think that I too can make one of these bad boys (honestly speaking I can never ever think of building anything like this). Kudos to you & your team who have made this masterpiece! 👍😊👏
Thanks so much! Welcome to the channel. Lots of other cool videos in the library and always more builds coming. 👍
It is always a pleasure to watch you work. You make some of the most difficult things look easy. Every piece is amazing.

Thanks for watching, Clayton!
Love the pattern on that axe awesome job
Thanks for checking it out, Tim!
Your work never disappoints.
Thanks for always following along!
Beautiful axe. Drifting the eye is definitely the most challenging part.
I've learned the key is correct it early. The longer you let it go, the worse it gets and its harder to get it back later. Thanks for watching, JP! I'll get to watching all the other videos soon!
It turned out very nicely !👍
Thanks for watching!
That is beautiful!
Thanks for watching!
Looks awesome pal. Very nice. Luv Axes. 👌😍

Beautiful axe, well done.

The handle is just as beautiful as the blade! Way too nice to risk throwing it. But, my hat's off to you!
Ha, it had to be done since John did it. 🤣. Thanks for watching, Fred!

I wanted a wood to really pop! Thanks for watching.
Awesome work man I love that pattern!

Thanks, brother! I had a fellow smith in the shop all weekend so I haven’t had a chance to watch any of the builds yet. Soon though!
Perfect 👍🏼
Thanks for taking a look!
Beautiful, of course! I just did a knife with essentially the same layering pattern except I didn't forge one billet down and restack it like you did, which I'm sure explains why your pattern is rather a lot more interesting than mine. Thanks for sharing your process.
Keep at it, Bryson. Thanks for watching!
Nicely done
Thanks for watching!
Finally had time to watch the clip that ax turned out incredible, that pattern is sick, ps love the color of the handle
Thanks for checking it out, Joseph!
That's a beauty!
Thanks for checking it out, Chris!
I love how the handle contrasts the axe head. The pink/purple heart looks stellar with all of the bold 15n20/1084.
Thanks for checking it out, Justin!
Beautiful.
You sir are an amazing craftsman. Your attention to detail is superb. One day I hope to cross paths with you.
I’ll be at Blade show in Atlanta in June in case you’re around then. Thanks for watching, Randy.

Thanks for checking it out!
That Damascus turned out great.
Thanks for watching, Jimmy!
You sir can make me an axe anytime. Great piece...love it..
Thanks for checking it out!
Awesome build!
Thanks for taking a look!
I absolutely love this purple heart handle! Such amazing color! I knew the Axe making is very difficult but I didn't expect it takes so long! 40min to drift an eye?! My god, you spend hours to forge it! Another beautiful piece from your workshop Denis! And, btw: I have no idea how did you etch this axe with the handle on it:P!
The handle was coated with nail polish to protect the wood and then removed later with acetone. Thanks for watching, David!
Amazing!!
Thanks for taking a look, Adam!
Great work dude
Thanks for watching
Great build thanks for sharing it. Not knocking it but a dark to black handle would be my preference with the steel colours and gold inlay, amazing looking regardless and great Axe.
Thanks for watching this build!
